The salad part was an interesting set up since they just had the crab cake on the side and then the salad on the side. I really liked it! Tried one of the sushi rolls and it was interesting that they added some olive oil and citrus?? when it wasn't specified on the menu at all.. I liked the roll though. It will run you $20+ for one. It's big but I also feel like you would need to order a side if you wanted to make that your main entree. And paying for 2 sushi rolls at that price point is steep. Pacific Table is a seafood restaurant in Irving-Las Colinas's Water Street development that continues to get better with each visit. I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. We got a few appetizers, Hiramasa roll was incredible, the yellowtail tuna was fresh and the sushi rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Shishito peppers was perfectly charred. For main course, I got the lobster roll with a side of fries. The fries were cooked well with a nice hint of rosemary but the lobster roll was okay. He seemed vert excited about the food. I had the Rock Shrimp for starters. It was good i enjoyed the spicy sauce paired with sweet sticky rice. The aperol spritz was ok. One my favorite seafood restaurants in Dallas. I have visited multiple times and not had anything that I didn't like. On this trip, I did get the ahi tuna salad and the firecracker shrimp, all sauces on the side. The restaurant itself is always clean and has a nice vibe whether you are there solo, on a date or with friends or family. The service is wonderful and the staff are friendly. First time dining at Pacific table and first time for brunch! Food was good and affordable. We were able to order coffees but didn't see it offered on the menus. We ordered a cali roll for an appetizer and it was really good. Good rice and the roll seemed to have a hint of yuzu in it which was a nice and refreshing surprise. I ordered the omelette and it was really good and the portion was perfect for brunch. My husband ordered the hash and that was good as well. Our friends that dined with us ordered the American breakfast and seemed to like their meals as well. Service was good and the inside of the restaurant is pretty as well. We came to Pacific Table in Irving for Mother's Day lunch with a reservation for eight. There was a small name mix-up, but we were seated quickly outside. It was a gorgeous day and the waterfront setting was perfect. We started with the Pacific Dip and fried calamari. The dip was a salmon spread with avocado and toast--pretty good--but the calamari was a standout: super crispy and not overcooked. I had the miso salmon, which unfortunately was way too salty, as were the broccolini and mashed potatoes that others at the table ordered. I also will add that the salmon was a tiny bit over cooked and didn't have quite the flaky texture I hoped for. The burger was generously sized with really tasty garlic fries, and the lobster roll was good, though we wished it had larger chunks of lobster. The kids loved their chicken tenders and fries. Stumbled on this place after a meeting and I usually don't give 5 stars because there's always room for improvement- but this was hands down the best seafood I've had in DFW. The service was spot on, and the manager was incredibly gracious, even refilling the propane tank so we could stay warm while sitting outside. We started two Cucumber Martinis, and they were border line spectacular. My wife ordered the Branzino (European Sea Bass) and I went with the Trout Almondine with mashed potatoes. I had high expectations for my birthday dinner here, but the experience was incredibly disappointing (1/10 value). I reserved a table for 11 people (7 adults, 4 babies) well in advance, explicitly noting the children on the reservation. Despite this, the table wasn't ready, we weren't greeted warmly, and they only had two highchairs and no boosters available--something they should have communicated beforehand. We also had to ask for kids' menus, and a birthday cake we brought was ignored after asking to put it in the fridge ​To top it off, service was inattentive. Our leftovers were forgotten, and my husband had to hunt down a manager (Kenny) just to get our food. We noticed management (Andrea and Kenny) visiting other tables but completely ignoring ours. While Kenny asked how to make it better at the very end, the damage was done. ​To management: I hope you use this feedback to train your hosts and improve team communication. After missing Valentine's Day with my significant other due to a work trip, I wanted to do something nice with her. Made a reservation here last night and drove almost 40 miles, arrived 2 minutes early. We were sat down with our menus. Planned out our appetizers, entrees, and dessert. I really wanted to like this place, but the general service is not good. very slow, not sure why we were avoided for the most of our stay but I noticed everyone around us was getting helped. There were a few times the service manager stopped by our table to check if we've been greeted and also to ask if we needed anything. I believe I overheard him mentioning his name is Justin when speaking to another table. We had to ask him for waters about 30min into our stay. We also asked another server/manager for our check because we were waiting over 20min for our server to bring our check. they apologized and brought our check, but still, the long waits are ridiculous. Went for lunch since it's conveniently across the street from our corporate office. The space is lovely and inviting. The outdoor seating is also gorgeous and has great views. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I snagged a house salad and a sushi roll. I can't have seaweed but they were so gracious and said they could do any roll in soy paper. The house salad came out first and I was super impressed. The salad isn't your typical three ingredient small house salad. It had all the little extras - corn, carrots, onions, bacon - and the light dressing was so tasty. 1000% would recommend it even though I'm usually a Cesar salad gal. The Margot roll was also fantastic. The lemon zest on top just added a nice little something extra at the end. Many of my colleagues got the orange chicken rice bowl and raved over it. The only complaint is it came with huge lettuce leaves and they just seemed more in the way than useful. Overall such a great experience. I can't wait to go back and try more! read more

I feel when you go to a place this level, there are just things that they should get correct without any complaints. I was impressed with the location and the ambiance when I first entered. Very tastefully appointed interior design that creates a pleasant atmosphere. Our service was just ok. Not what you would expect from this level of of restaurant. A couple of pet peeves: 1) set our food down and did not come back for over 12 minutes to check and see if everything was ok, 2) never refilled my water glass, (3) picked up my plate with obviously grossly undercooked shrimp on it and made no observations or comments/questions on it. These are basics and basics every server should get right every time. Obviously I was not as impressed at this location as I was when I visited the Southlake location, where I was VERY impressed. What a lovely dinner we had here! The setting is nice as the outdoor area has a large fountain and a general laid-back feel. ALL of the food was SO good. Several of us had the crab cake salad. The crab cake was loaded with crab, and the salad wasn't overly dressed. My friend had some sushi, and she said it was some of the best in Dallas. Two of my guy friends had the swordfish special, and they both said it was exquisite. My husband doesn't like seafood so he had the orange chicken. He said it had just the right spice level. Went to this restaurant for a work dinner, and I've heard great things about it. So was excited to try it out. My coworkers and I arrived for dinner - even though it was a weeknight, it was quite busy. Since the noise level inside made it difficult to hear and the TX weather was actually nice for a rare occasion, we decided to sit outside, which was also quite busy. The view was pretty from where we were, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. Being a work dinner, several items were ordered and shared. For appetizers, we shared the grilled edamame, broiled shishito peppers, and the crispy calamari. They were all delicious, especially the calamari. It is so easy to overcook them and make them tough and rubbery, but they were fantastic. For my main entree I ordered the Crab Cake Salad, but since I'm not a fan of arugula, I asked to swap it out for kale since I saw kale was an offering on another item. It was the perfect move. The crab cake was divine and not full of breading at all, just wonderful crabmeat. The dressing was pretty good with the salad. It had some fried capers and such that I thought distracted from it. I would absolutely order it again. Chicken tenders were ordered for the table to share as well as their rosemary fries. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I was kicking myself for not grabbing more. The chicken tenders were meh. The coating was okay but got soggy very quickly and. Folks that ordered the baby back ribs, cedar plank salmon, and short ribs had zero complaints (and leftovers). For dessert, the ice cream sandwiches and yuzu lemon meringue pie were ordered to share. The lemon meringue pie was delicious. Highly recommend passing on the ice cream sandwiches. I took one bite and it was a nope for me. Taste and texture were all off. Others agreed bc they sat there and melted. Overall, they have their highlights and it does appear to be seafood, which is perfectly fine for me. Last Friday, my daughter took me out to eat here so we could spend some mother-daughter time together. The place is lovely, and our table had a view of the canal. The food and service lived up to the setting, but two issues prevented the experience from being better. 1. I spent an hour and forty-five minutes battling two flies that were determined to get into my food. It is very unpleasant (and unhygienic) to have flies inside a restaurant--especially an expensive one. 2. When we ordered dessert, our cutlery was changed. The waitress--a very pleasant young woman--brought us two spoons, but they weren't dessert spoons; they were soup spoons, which are larger. She noticed that the spoon she had given my daughter was stained and offered to replace it. When I turned my spoon over to check if it was stained too, I found something worse: there was a piece of food stuck to it! The piece was large enough that you could actually see the lip marks of the person who had used the spoon previously. When I showed it to the waitress, the color drained from her face. Horrified, she quickly replaced it while profusely apologizing. It wasn't her fault; the blame lay with the person washing the dishes and cutlery. This is easily avoidable: simply soaking the utensils in very hot water dissolves any stuck-on food. It was truly disappointing to go out for a special time with my daughter, only to have it spoiled by two flies and a dirty spoon. read more

Very nice place from my experience sitting on the patio during Happy Hour this Beautiful June early evening with my family. I will say I'm not impressed with the cost associated with the food and drinks. I have NEVER had a French 75 with tequila instead of Gin/Vodka that cost me $25 and I've dined at amazing 5 star restaurants. The way it's explained isn't justifiable in regards to the price. The items we had were all tasty no complaints in regards to food. We had Miso Salmon Skewers Spicy Rock Shrimp Half dozen Fried oysters Soft shell crab sandwich Kids tenders Chicken sandwich The server was great and good with suggestions & her opinion. Her name was CAT I spoke to the manager on my way out and he actually wanted to address and rectify the pricing. He gave me a refund for the drink and made a new one on the house which I didn't expect or desire I just wanted to inform him that the pricing was intense compared restaurants with similar or better ratings and ambiance. I am in town for work and we were highly recommended this for dinner. We arrived around 630 and were immediately seated. The staff were nice and attentive. The atmosphere is rather loud for this location but I think this area is meant for business meeting dinners. Chatter was common for sure. Our waiter was exceptional. He provided fresh water immediately and asking our wine selection. He was prompt in returning for appetizers and dinner suggestions. I ordered the Miso Salmon. The fish was cook to perfection and the glaze was phenomenal. The rice was a bit hard around the edges but still good. The broccolini was nice as well. It had a little bite to it with the sliced garlic mixed in. Very good overall. My colleagues order the short ribs, braised fish, and cioppino and everyone was very pleased with their meals. I mentioned when I make my reservation that we will be celebrating my mom's birthday and I asked for a cake to be given at the end of our meal. However, the server just said, they had a butter cake that is off the menu and I could order it. I was frustrated. I was expecting that they surprise my mom with the cake, but the server didn't do that. It was included in my bill.
