Eating at the Ritz. It was my first time dining at Knife and I was underwhelmed. The ambience of the restaurant was nice. The hostess and the server were nice. The food was unseasoned and wasn't that great. The complimentary bread was a good addition to the table. I had the chicken parm and you have to pay for the noodles separately - an extra $16 and they weren't great. They do comp your parking for eating in the restaurant. I would try this place one more time to have the steak.

Pricey menus, but, it's the Ritz... it was company paid, so... : - ) Drinks were gorgeous and tasty. Really enjoyed the Django margarita. Loved the wine selection. I dined there twice in a row for dinner. 1st night, filet mignon, asparagus and those deeeeelicious parm potatoes squares. 2nd night, Caesar salad and a margarita pizza with pepperoni. Either I must have NEEDED that cold salad but it was so good. Fresh and tasty. NOTE: if you get the chicken parm and they offer noodles, JUST know it's an ADDITIONAL $15 and, I believe, if you're not a fan of leftovers, TWO CAN REALLY DINE OFF OF THAT DISH (i promise you even if you are hungry) and I'm sure they would plate it for you that way too. Unsure if for an additional fee to plate though. Great location for a business meal. Great location of your staying at the Ritz. Really Aesthetic for photos. Staff and hostess each night were top notch. Treat yo'self! ....i did!

The service was very good, Rene (spelling) was attentive and gave good recommendations. My friend and I split the cacio e pepe and we both were on the same page that it is one of the bests in Dallas. It's such a simple dish but they prepare it very well, there's plenty of flavor and it's a good sized portion.

We celebrated our friends 40th birthday here recently. While I will always miss Café on the green, knife Italian is definitely better than Law, which was here in this Ritz, formerly four seasons. Times are changing! Especially when you see hot pink napkins at an Italian steakhouse, lol. I didn't hate it! The ambience was definitely fun and upbeat. We all enjoyed our Italian dishes. They even had gluten-free pasta for me which was so nice. However, I had several bites of my husband's pasta (pappardelle), which was obviously homemade (WAY better), and it did not make me sick. They use that 00 flour. I wouldn't recommend it for celiac, but I am only borderline. We enjoyed the meatballs, burrata, eggplant Parmesan, tuna, several different cocktails and four delicious desserts! My favorite was the affogato. Someone was having a lovely wedding reception next to our building that was fun to watch. We had a great time and will be back again!

Had valentines dinner - tried caviar for the first time and what a treat, excellent drinks, food, service, and the ambiance is beautiful with lucious dark pinks, velvets- great for date night - pricey but worth it

Finally Las Colinas has an upscale Italian restaurant!! It's inside the Ritz Carlton. Service was great and the runners were describing the dishes as they brought it to the table. They served complimentary focaccia bread with butter in the beginning and fruit jellies at the end. For apps we ordered garlic bread bruschetta and truffle fries. Truffle fries were my favorite out of the two. For main course we ordered Margarita pizza and Spaghetti cacio e pepe. Spaghetti was delicious and pizza was thin crust with perfect amount of basil on the top. For dessert we ordered torta pistocchi which was really smooth and rich. Overall the experience and service were amazing!! I would go back and highly recommend this place to everyone. Valet is complimentary and they left a chilled bottle of water complimentary which was nice touch.

Open less than two weeks and they're off to a great start! The service was awesome - multiple parties helping throughout our meal were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has comfortable seating too. It's a decent size and can certainly accommodate large groups. Every dish we ordered was on point. Be advised, the dishes/portion sizes are large. We were able to split a salad and ended up with lots of leftovers from the two entrees we ordered. The eggplant parmigiana was the best I've ever had...thinly cut, nicely breaded (not overly), and in some type of basil sauce that was delicious. The yellowtail crudite was super fresh and melted in your mouth. It's too bad we didn't leave room for dessert, as their selections looked tempting.

Foodie Alert! Guess where I just dined? Knife Italian Chef John Tesar's amazing Italian Steakhouse at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton in Las Colinas. The atmosphere is such a vibe. The moment you step inside, you're met by the hostesses in a vibrant room filled with colorful decor, beautiful flowers, and intriguing abstract mirrors. The apps and food were pretty good. I enjoyed my Buffalo burrata salad and lobster pasta.... As a bonus, the pasta heated up very well the next day. To top it off, the service was excellent, and they paid very close attention to detail. My only con is there was some private party being held and they were very noisy. But overall I enjoyed my experience and would dine there again. So go check them out and tell them Ms. Hope sent you!

We had an amazing couple of days here and felt like everything was top-notch. From breakfast to service and beyond.

This is my second time at Knife Italian. About a year ago my experience didn't meet my expectations... but this year they far exceeded it. Our server Crystal was absolutely amazing! She was real and kind, and made great recommendations. Checked on us enough that we never wanted for anything, but not so much that we felt interrupted or rushed. Other servers helped bus the table and kept our waters full at all times. As you can see, the food was amazing! The steak and deserts were my favorite, lobster ravioli, focaccia, then pizza. The drinks are in a category of their own. They really pride themselves on the Italian tradition of complex aperitifs. The decor is a little 'island-y.' When it gets dark outside, the restaurant gets pretty dark. The valet is complimentary when you dine at the restaurant, and the valets were very on top of it! We had a great time! I am so glad we went back!

Had an amazing experience here, dining with my sister for lunch. Informed them of my gluten allergy and they made sure to accommodate any allergies, and let me know if they have gluten-free pasta, risotto, and even gluten-free bread, among other options. The manager, Colby, even came over and made sure everything was to our liking, and our servers (Aleyda and Mariana) were absolutely wonderful and constantly checking up on us to make sure we were happy and we had everything we needed. Not to mention they were incredibly sweet and professional. The ambience is definitely more peaceful during the day, but in the evening it turns into this beautiful, Tulum jungle experience. Next time we visit Dallas, we will make sure to come back here! Highly recommend.

I've never had anything that wasn't perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served the correct temperature. And that's what really matters in a restaurant, of course. But the vibe is odd. I can't put my finger on it. It's "clique-y". Every time I come, I walk into an empty restaurant with no host. And it seems I've walked in before they opened. They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties. I don't ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don't get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It's bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. What surprised us, however, was being charged $2 for a small cup of hot water with lemon. We were never informed that there would be a charge, nor was it mentioned when we requested it. In all our years of dining at restaurants, both locally and internationally--this is the first time we've ever been charged for hot water with lemon. We were also charged for an extra serving of rolls. Initially, I requested a roll without garlic, but the server explained that the rolls were already prepared with garlic butter, so we agreed to have them served. That was perfectly fine since my husband and son ate them. Later, after we had finished our pasta, the server offered another serving of rolls, he mentioned he has non garlic butter on them. We politely declined, but he said they were already prepared and would serve them anyway. Because of that, we assumed they were complimentary. We only realized when we received the bill that we had been charged for the additional rolls. While we still enjoyed the food, we believe these charges should have been clearly communicated beforehand so customers can make informed decisions and avoid unexpected surprises on the bill. I will remember this if I wanted another puttanesca next time :( From my previous 4 stars, I'll put it down to 3 because of those unacceptable charges

Now, I want to clarify my comment... because this time warp was a really great thing! The decor was true 80's. The music was also from the 70s/80s. Heck, the people working there might have been working there since the 80s too. It just had a consistent 80s feel. And it was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time! My husband and I walked in 15 minutes before the restraint closed, and we were met with a smile from the greeter. No one rushed us, no one complained that we were coming in at the end of their shift. Instead, everyone treated us as if we were the first customers of the day. I enjoyed my meal and tipped the price of the meal because of the outstanding service we received. Now for the food. I had a simple grilled chicken sandwich. Nothing fancy. And yet it was delicious! My chicken was tasty, tender, and cooked perfectly. I honestly enjoyed every bite. And if everything wasn't already amazing in the restaurant (the nostalgic feel, great service, and great food) I noticed their prices were very reasonable. In a day and time when everything feels over priced, a hard working family can walk into Angelo's and afford a great meal. Thank you Angelo's for staying true to who you are - because it works.
