I really wanted to like this local gem but the food was just not good. The service was decent but not enough to make a return and waste a weekday lunch. We ordered a spicy calamari with pickled toppings that was the best thing on the menu but I commented to the waiter that the green onions were spoiled. Btw the spoiled green onions were used in a lot of their dishes so I'm shocked they didn't have quality control over its prep or have complaints about sooner. The Caesar salad was below average, I wish we went somewhere else that didn't drown their wilted greens in store bought dressing. I didn't take a picture of the pasta but we got the pasta sampler with a meatball side. It was interesting but with all the excitement towards their house made meatballs, I found it was just okay as well. My partner's stomach was upset after and I dodged suffering the same fate from picking at my plate the parts I thought were appetizing. We came here for lunch in the middle of the week as my coworkers in the area had recommended it. Unfortunately, despite the nice service and ambiance, I walked away generally disappointed with the food quality here. Cody was our server and he was courteous and lively, and overall we really liked the cozy vibe inside. Plenty of space inside for large groups and can be intimate enough for date night too. We ordered the spicy calamari, a Caesar salad, and a pasta sampler to share. First, the complimentary garlic rolls came out, and they might have been my favorite part of the meal. Incredibly buttery, soft, and flavorful. The calamari had a nice batter and savoriness but my girlfriend noted that the green onion garnish tasted off and seem spoiled. We let Cody know and he hopefully relayed that to the chef to let them know. The Caesar salad was pretty typical but enjoyable nonetheless. We got the pasta sampler and the first thing I noticed was that the sauce tasted pretty one dimensional and a bit too sweet for my liking. I'm no Italian food expert but I found it to be at the same level as canned sauces. The cheese fillings and pasta themselves were pretty good and there no complaints there. The meatball also suffered from being a bit bland and had the same problem with the sauce. Maybe it was just an off day, and I do understand they are a family business. Update We just had dinner there again last night ( Friday ) and they were slammed. The service was a bit off, and we waited at the bar for our table but to be fair we were early and they sat us at our reservation time. Cocktails were slow, only one bartender working for most of the time, but the drinks were good, once we got them The bartender was making drinks for tables first, before serving people at the bar. Finally we got a table... one we liked. BUT.. ... then they had to move us, we just get settled in and have to move, they wanted us at a lousy , center table we said no. But we still moved to a side table. Also lousy and too close to another. No biggie, as they had another big party coming in. It was just very disorganized. What they lose a stars for is.....FROZEN calamari. Gordon Ramsay would not approve. Seriously it tasted like the same batter you get on mozzarella sticks ( because it was ). We won't order that again. Plus you can tell frozen from fresh. Just by looking at it. I found this place on Yelp! by searching for capellini because that is my Dad's favorite. When we got to the parking lot we were questioning everything, but hungry. It was really good! The table ordered mozzarella sticks and calamari and everybody enjoyed them. For entrees, there were a couple of lasagnas and a couple of piccatas (one chicken and one salmon with shrimp). Everyone seemed to enjoy them a lot. I had an order of the meatballs and a house salad. We tried the classic limoncello cocktail as well as one of their seasonal limoncellos and they were both incredibly fresh and well made. The portion sizes were also very substantial and well had enough for another meal. I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Saviano's. We started with martini's as they have a full bar. Then we had a Sangiovese glass of wine. They were out of the one I ordered, but brought us a comparable one which they le us taste first. The owner brought it out and apologized for not having the one we selected. They gave us homemade bread service. It was a variety fresh out of the oven. We ordered an Italian Salad to share. Fantastic. Then we shared the Lobster Ravioli Del Mare. Amazing!!! You'll see the deviations in size and shape! We also ordered the Toasted Cheese Ravioli and absolutely loved it! It's a MUST-try. Crispy and cheesy, with some flavorful and rich marinara. I immediately fell so in love with their marinara that I HAD to order some with my pizza for dipping. The pizza is so flavorful on its own that it didn't even need loads of toppings. That's RARE for me. I usually require something like anchovies because I find many pizzas bland. NOT here!! Pepperoni and marinara with melty cheese was perfect. Saviano's in Euless is hands down one of my favorite Italian spots in the area. My husband and I come just about once every month. Yes, it's really that good. The food, service, and atmosphere are all consistently great, making it a perfect place for a relaxed dinner or a night out with friends. The hosts, Cody and Mitch, always make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Their friendly attitude really adds to the overall experience and makes the restaurant feel warm and inviting. As for the food--everything is delicious. The Wicky Chicken Riggis is absolutely incredible, the garlic knots are perfectly soft and flavorful, and the lemon drop is my go to drink. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and drinks. If you're looking for great Italian food with excellent service and a great atmosphere, Saviano's in Euless is definitely worth a visit. I needed some Italian food in my life, it's been a couple of months to be honest. The reviews on google and then on here especially had me convinced to try here, and I do not regret it. I used to make chicken piccata, and wanted to try theirs, and it ended up being incredible. The white wine sauce was perfect, when I say perfect, I mean perfect. What a big surprise on my fun weekend, but the meatball dish I was worried about ordering, because they only give you three meatballs. Maybe next time I will try it! Got dinner here at almost 9pm on a Saturday night and this place was popping off! We didn't want to wait 45 minutes for a table so opted for the bar. Their menu is pretty straightforward and standard for a good Italian restaurant. The breading on the calamari was a bit too thick for my liking but flavoring was good. Pasta was cooked perfectly to all dente and the sauce was great but I wish it was reduced more or thicker so it could actually cling to the pasta... boyfriend had gotten the basic spaghetti and meat sauce. The portion here are huge and we were soooo full. This is a big but cozy restaurant and they seem to have lots of regulars. Even had someone playing piano live which was cool! The spices were perfect. Tasty but not overwhelming. Garlic knots accompanied the salads. Everything was fresh. Ambiance is genuine "old school Italian ". Dark woods, dim lights, intimate tables. The waitress was attentive, personable, and well informed. She ensured we completely enjoyed the experience. Most notable was the extra personal attention provided. I'm super glad that my husband searched this up in the area as it was totally not planned- we really needed a date night and Saviono's came to save the day! Well really our amazing superhero waiter MITCH saved the day! After waiting about 40 minutes to be seated because even though it's my first time discovering it- it seems like everyone knows it's good as well- we were so hungry. And he immediately helped us with our table, going above and beyond to answer our questions, bring extra sauces, just truly professional, accommodating and personable. He checked on us often, and just made us feel right at home. It's rare to find staff like him so really appreciate him! Apart from the fantastic service, the ambiance was cozy and classy, especially near the front of house, with the amazing singer Mark who is there 4 nights of the week so just another reason to come back! He sang so many beautiful classics and even took two of our requests even though it was close to closing. Our food was fabulous too! My wife and I have had Italian in Rome and other major cities around the world, so we have many experiences to compare this meal to. Was it like Italian in Rome? No, but it was still absolutely delicious! The pamodoro sauce on the Shrimp Fra Diavolo was excellent. I'd probably eat a shoe if it had that sauce on it. The Seafood Alfredo was wonderfully done as well. You could tell everything was made from scratch as it should be.
