Crawfish and snow crab legs

What a hidden gem in Bedford! The food was fresh, great price and the service was amazing. They had so many options on their menu and we can't wait to come back and try it out.

Boil
Jessica M.

This crab boil was insane!! The spice/flavor on the seafood... it was a great experience. Service was fast and friendly. Only thing is I wish there wasn't a 2 pound minimum on the crawfish because it was so much food. Luckily, we were able to reheat it later to share it with the fam and the taste was still on point! 10/10 recommend!

Cajun pasta with crawfish

Dirty Cajun is a good spot to satisfy that real New Orleans Cajun cravings. Very well seasoned, pasta cooked to al dente and vibes is really what completes the visit. The area is very busy with 2 other bar and a cinema in the this corner of Bedford but don't that deter you from visiting because all that traffic along Airport Fwy is well worth it.

Seafood Gumbo

Cajun cuisine is one of my top 3 favorites. Having seafood alone is one of the best meals but cook it Cajun style is one of the best! We decided to try this seafood kitchen even though the traffic here is somewhat annoying especially during rush hour. We tried 3 dishes. Seafood gumbo, New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp, and Cajun Pasta topped with crawfish. All of the dishes were so flavorful! The gumbo color looks really good, the pasta on Cajun pasta was perfect al dente and the handiness of N.O. Barbecue shrimps is just the right amount. This place is definitely worth a try if you are in the area. Traffic can be a pain and parking can be a little challenging at time since they share it with a couple other bars and a theater.

The service at Dirty Cajun was honestly top tier, they check on you at the perfect time, not too frequent but not to the point it feels they forgot about you. They don't make you feel rushed and the vibes were great for honestly everyone, they had tables that fit every party. Now the food, was delicious, seasoned great and for those who like a little more spice they have hot sauce available. My family tried a lot of different items on the menu and we enjoyed every single item! I will say it does take a little bit for your items to come out but they were fresh when they did. The beignets were also good, not the best as some flavor is missing at least to me personally but I would get them again. If you're missing Louisiana this spot might just cure that craving.

Crawfish boudin balls.

The boudin balls are huge the sauce that comes with it is a good addition to the flavor. The crabs were great. The service was excellent. Very attentive and always checked on us. The restaurant had lots of seating it was clean.

The meal was so good, although we tried our best to eat everything we could not. Our server was super nice, even made us to go lemonade and Diet Coke. If we were local we would definitely return. We shared the boil and dirty Cajun gumbo, as soon as the food was brought to us we could tell it was going to be delicious. We dined on a Thursday night and it was not crowded, can tell that on weekends this spot is popping. if you are seeking a good meal with good service try this spot.

This food was extremely salty. They just put a whole bunch of salt on their food, and think that it's Cajun, this is not Cajun food ,very disappointing waste of money.

This place made me wish I was in Bedford more often! Although I understand they have a location in Richardson. I will definitely check it out. Hubby ordered the sausage red beans and rice and I ordered the crawfish étouffée with blackened catfish. I could not believe how delicious it all was and the food was piping hot with the most outstanding gravy on the etouffee!!!! Mama Mia!!!!! I could swim in that gravy and do backstrokes as a break from stuffing my face! Descriptive and over the top? Yes! But I don't care! Find out for yourself!

I'm not sure how I have not been to this place before. However, this place has only been open. One year so I don't feel too bad when I tell you. This is one of Bedford's best kept secrets. The food here is outstanding. Everything is so good me and my friend went here for lunch Last Sunday and it did not disappoint. The only thing I did not like was their dirty rice and the other items are made with pork and I can't eat pork, however, I did substitute, mine with regular white rice and it tastes just as good. We enjoyed our meal. And had some dessert to follow-up. Our server was very nice and friendly. The staff was great. It's a good environment. They also play music in there and they have a good happy hour. It's just the overall great place to go and enjoy you. Some dirty Cajun food, you're in the area, stopped by folks and just try it out for yourself.

Piña colada
Yasmin G.

First time here! We got seated within 2 minutes. Their menus are huge so many items to choose. I ordered a water and piña colada. Piña colada was sweet and tasty! We had grilled oysters which were good. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with salmon. I was already full and was halfway done. Big portions so definitely taking leftovers. My son got the shrimp boil hot and it did have a lil kick and husband had red beans and rice with salmon. We enjoyed our food and definitely want to come back! I recommend it for ppl who love cajun food! A must try!

We really like this place! We've been going weekly and trying something new every time. Service has been hit or miss though. I've had a teenager who had to be reminded to bring silverware after bringing my food; I had another who didn't know what "andouille" was and guessed it was a fish and brought that out instead; and had yet another forget my husband's sides. And what other commenters stated about the gnats: Yeah, that's true. There's a ton of gnats here, and it is off putting. ...Yet I return again and again because their food really is THAT good. The first time I went, I ordered the cajun pasta. I was going to compare it to Pappadeux's similar version, which I think is like $42.99. Here it was only like $25. Their version was excellent! It contained a lot of seafood, was well cooked, and was great. The fried beinet cobbler dessert thing was good, but didn't have ice cream on it as pictured on the menu (it has whipped cream instead). Their chocolate lava cake is really good, but not big enough to share between two people that love desserts so uh, get your own lest a fight break out. I ordered the mac and cheese with crawfish and sausage, but I was brought the dirty mac n cheese instead. It was still good. I tried again on another visit, and loved the mac n cheese. It was gooey and creamy. My daughter didn't care for hers, but I think its because the kid's version was plain and without texture. I've had their jambalaya. It was excellent, and was swimming in butter. The last time I went, I tried their red beans and rice. Still very excellent! My husband hated to admit their gumbo was better than his. Also, their crawfish boil is delicious, well done, and generously portioned. These guys know their food! My son only gets the kids chicken tenders, but these are MASSIVE, well battered, and heavily seasoned. It's great. He specifically asked to go to the place with the "good" chicken. The food is beautiful, the seasoning is on-point, and I love they'll make things extra hot. They add a ton of protein to everything. I haven't ordered any alcohol (yet) so can't speak to that. My son enjoys his mango lemonade every time though.

I revisited this location about a year later! To revisit I think gives some kind of credit lol. I love seafood! I enjoyed the gumbo this time around as well.

I'm still salivating thinking about it. BBQ chicken breasts cooked to perfection and kept warm for 4 hours BUT weren't dry or tasteless. Our neighbors kept coming back for MORE! An awesome Mac n' Cheese buffet set-up that, even with the wind blowing out the sternos was delivered exquisitely! And can we talk about toppings? Cheese, blue cheese, spinach, onions, bacon, chives, and on and on! Green bean almondine with sautéed onions was a star of the veggie section with kids even enjoying them!!! We rounded the meal up with potato salad and sweet rolls! Chef Matt delivered an incredible meal for our neighborhood and had a great team of Sous chefs and assistants on hand to help! That's a run on with terrible grammar.... That's how far off this place has thrown me. My server was also a freaking rock star!! What in the world is happening at Terminal A, DFW?!?!? He made excellent suggestions and took excellent care of me! In fact, all of the staff seemed to be top notch! Inside is like you are nowhere near an airport. It's kind of sunken between terminal floors or something. I took an elevator down and popped out in a strange place in a server area where my actual server was just standing there waiting. How in this hell is that étouffée that damn good. Now I realize some of the best Cajun food I've ever had came from a frozen bag from a place in Franklin TN (that's another story on Yat's), so I am likely not the best judge, but I do know good food. What I had here was really good. I got the crawfish platter and it was enough food for me, my server, and the fat guy sitting next to me at the other table. Well, maybe not, he ate all of his plate and then a whole dessert. I missed what he had before he inhaled it. But.... My server was skinny so.... LOL. I ate and ate until I could not eat anymore and still only managed to knock out about 50% of it. The fried crawfish was great and cooked perfectly. Just the right seasoning too. Dirty rice is hit or miss for me seasoning wise, but this version was really good too. I ate a good bit of it. The étouffée part of the dish was the real star of the show. Holy shit! So gooooood! Throw some of those fried ones in it and damn. I'm done. No more. If you read this, get your ass the DFW Terminal A and get some of this inside you as fast as you can! Stop what you are doing, miss that flight, leave grandma at the gate, ditch the kids, whatever you have to do, do it now, get on the dang train if need be and go get some of this food in your damn belly! I rode from Terminal D here and back just to eat! '26 - 11

My server was the sweetest and most polite person. She checked on me and my mom multiple times. She was friendly and helpful. So I must say my service was welcoming and AMAZING! I felt like part of the family! Now it's not a fancy place, but it was clean and cozy. Like a mom and pops place. Condiments are provided on the table. Even roses that were real are in a vase. You can dine in or they have a carry out side. Well I chose fish since that's what I wanted. The 2 piece filet meal comes with 2 sides. They will bring your food out in a plastic container. So if you have left overs it's already set to go. The food came out hot and fresh. The fish was fried nicely. I wish it was seasoned a bit more for my liking. It was pretty good though. It was a great size and again fried to perfection. The hush puppies were really tasty. The fried corn fritter was delicious. The pickled tartar sauce was unique and I loved it. OMG the cabbage was so DAMN GOOD! This stole the show. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned with love. It touched my soul and I wanted to lick my container. The Mac and Cheese was a NO for me. It was like black pepper and cheese sauce. It was just blah and II didn't even eat it. However, others may like it, but it wasn't that great. Sorry Nana! Overall I had a good visit! We had enough for two meals for each of us! We had chicken and pork ribs, mac & cheese and flat green beans. It was very tasty with a sweet and spicy barbecue sauce. I genuinely want this place to succeed, which is why I still give it chances every so often. Today (Feb 24, 2026) I stopped in with my daughter just to pick up sides. Many menu items were unavailable (we were told no greens), so we ordered cabbage, sweet potatoes, and cornbread. The total was about $15 and I paid $20 and told him to keep the change as a tip. Unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing. The cabbage was essentially plain steamed cabbage -- very underseasoned and more like cafeteria vegetables than braised southern cabbage. I actually had to go home and re-season and cook it further just to make it edible. The sweet potatoes tasted good, but they had a noticeable smoky/BBQ odor, like they had absorbed grease or smoke from the kitchen environment. The cornbread itself was very good, but the portion was extremely small -- basically a sample-sized piece. Considering I tipped $5 on a small order, it would have been nice to include an additional piece or two. The biggest ongoing issue, though, is consistency. Over the years the restaurant is frequently out of items and the quality varies visit to visit. The dining/kitchen area is also visibly worn and could really benefit from a deep clean and upkeep. I truly say this respectfully because I remember how good this place used to be. The potential is still there, but right now the food and overall experience don't match the prices being charged.
