Service was fine! Not as trashy as the comments suggest... at least for me. Food was decent. Not amazing but not horrible. Happy with the portion compared to price. Decor and vibe inside is funky fun, tons of sharks and seafood hanging about.

We came here for a late dinner with our family. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entry. The atmosphere is colorful, fun and family friendly. Our kids really enjoyed looking around at all of the decorations. Our drink and appetizer order was taken and received in a timely manner. The same for our dinner order. The seafood tasted amazing and the seasoning was awesome. We got the house seasoning which is medium in heat and just right. Our waitress was Courtney and she was very attentive and friendly. We will certainly be back again!

Review Laughing Crab is located at Northeast Mall. It replaced Bar Louie's. This restaurant has been open exactly two weeks as of today. I think it's a great addition to the mall. The customer service was great, cute pirate themed decor, food was served fresh, hot and it was tasty, and band was okay. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give ghis joint a THREE!

The crawfish had that perfect boil flavor with just the right amount of spice. Gumbo was rich, hearty, and full of flavor. Had to get me a link of smoked boudin and it stood out. It had a nice spicy kick and was packed with the best smokey flavor in every bite. Got me a meat pie and it was exactly what you hope for. Nice and crispy on the outside, savory and satisfying inside. It's a super casual spot with a great indoor area and a solid patio, perfect for just hanging out and enjoying good food. Honestly, it's hard to find Cajun food like this outside of Louisiana, but they did it right. Made me feel right at home!

Definitely peak at the menu ahead of time or you'll be looking up at the menu at the counter while you decide. Never liked that concept but we would only go for the crawfish . 3 stars because the girl at the counter wasn't so friendly when we asked if they had crawfish and seemed perturbed that we didn't want to stay and order something else. May upgrade the rating after we try the crawfish. The outside patio was still a work in progress but looks like it will be pretty nice.

I think it could be updated a little bit but I do love the stained glass windows and giant fish tank , beautiful touch. The service was outstanding. Our waitress was informative, attentive, and kind. She made sure we were well taken care of and answered my menu questions. We ordered fried mushrooms for an appetizer, baby boil with extra crab clusters and fried white fish with fries and green beans. All of the food was great! I noticed the hush puppies that are brought out complimentary are balls instead of the sticks, that's kind of a bummer! But they were still tasty. I didn't care for the shrimp on the boil but the crab and potatoes were great. Next time I will just get the crab.

Review for Catfish & Company…read more On Friday, March 13, 2026 around 1:00 p.m., I experienced some of the most inattentive service I have ever encountered at this restaurant. I was seated in a section where a waitress appeared to be focused on a large group of "Red Hat" ladies. She brought me an Arnold Palmer and hush puppies, but never returned to take my order. When my friend arrived, I informed her. She acknowledged us and said she would be back in a few minutes. What happened next was astonishing: she proceeded to serve multiple tables around us while completely ignoring our booth. Not once did she stop by to take our order, apologize for the delay, or even acknowledge that we had been waiting. Watching every surrounding table receive service while we were treated as if we were invisible was beyond frustrating--it was simply unacceptable. What makes this even more disappointing is that my family has a long history with this restaurant. We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and retirements here over the years, which is why this experience felt so out of character and frankly disrespectful. To their credit, the assistant manager stepped in and reassigned our table to a male server, who immediately provided excellent service and salvaged the situation. However, the fact that a paying customer had to be rescued from being ignored at their own table suggests something is broken in the service culture. A refresher in basic hospitality--acknowledging guests, managing sections, and communicating delays--might be overdue. If I return, I will absolutely refuse to be seated in this server's section again--even if it means waiting. Because good food should never come with the side dish of being ignored. When I said that I wanted Johnny and the entire service department at Five Star Ford fired, I didn't mean that they should all band together and open the world's worst restaurant as a fall back option. The rice was a little too close to Jesus I guess, because it was undercooked and still hard and crunchy. A quick trip to a sauna in Hell would have been just the thing to cook it to perfection and give it some of that Cajun heat that the restaurants name implies that you'll get. To the manager/owner of Tajun, ya'll need to do a seance and call the devil up into that kitchen and ask him to bless your meals with a quick dusting of his farts before they go out to your customers. Get some of the dark Lord's hot breff up on that rice. Get some blasphemy in that cook line ya'll got back there. Cajun food ain't done until it offends the Holy Spirit. You wanna cook for Jesus, open an English garden tea house that serves scones and crumpets. Leave the Cajun and the creole to Legions of the underworld.
