We ate inside and then enjoyed a beer on the patio while The Squeezebox Bandits were performing. A couple and their son joined our table and shared one of their Boudin balls; it was tasty. There's always plenty of great food at a great value, the dining area is welcoming, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Tonight, we decided to order pickup through their mobile app for the first time. The process was easy, the app said our food would be ready in 15 minutes, and sure enough, when we arrived, our order was ready to go. I didn't double-check the bag before leaving, and when we got home, we realized a couple of our sides were missing. I used the mobile app to let the restaurant know about the mistake and almost immediately received a text from Tyler letting me know they had credited us for the two missing sides. Mistakes happen, especially on a busy Friday night, but great customer service is all about how you respond--and Te'Jan handled it perfectly. We appreciate the quick response and will absolutely be back. Great food, great value, and people who take care of their customers!

If you are someone who thinks pineapple should never be on a pizza, you will LOSE YOUR MIND when…read moreyou order a po-boy here and find little pieces of pineapple on it. I wish I were kidding but I AM NOT. This place us just...odd. If you think you like Cajun food but have only a vague idea of what Cajun food is, this might be for you. Also - if you really are into listening to Christian music and seeing more Jesus decor than a Hobby Lobby, this also might be up your alley. As others have noted, the service is slow. The picnic-style tables are sticky and despite having a decent array of hot sauces, there was only a small bowl of ketchup packets on offer. Did I mention this place was odd? Anyway, the shrimp po-boy was was so much lost potential. It lacked pickles which was a huge miss, and I get that they want to class it up with the romaine, but traditionally one would go with shredded iceberg lettuce - THERE ARE RULES. On a positive note, the bread was great. Like - really great. Maybe the best po-boy bread I have found in the Metroplex - at least since that Cajun place on Colleyville boulevard shut down.

So I was excited to try this out. The drive-thru is slow, but you have to be patient to get decent food. The service was good. The drive-thru had 2 wooden-looking menu signs in the drive-thru....pretty cool. Hawaiian themed....very cool. I order the coco shrimp plate with lime cilantro dressing and added some avocado for an extra $1. The plate comes with savory rice and salad. I also ordered 2 sets of mochi icecream. Everything was good. Not exaggerating...it was all good. I loved the salad...the dressing was extremely tasty and included shredded carrots and dried cranberries. The rice was similar to sticky, with some butter and seasonings. Delicious. Coco shrimp was delicious, too.

People were walking in and greeting each other, calling out names, and it definitely felt like a neighborhood spot where many of the customers know each other. The drinks were good, and the service was okay. As for the food, it was just okay for us. Nothing we ordered really stood out or got us excited. That's the main reason for the modest review. The prices also seemed a little on the high side compared to some of the other seafood places we've tried. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it didn't leave us feeling like we had to come back. Maybe the regulars know something we didn't get to experience this time around.

Our server, Sonia, was absolutely amazing! She was attentive throughout our entire dinner, even shaking our bags of boil and serving everything onto our plates for us. The portions also seemed especially generous this time--we had enough leftovers for another whole meal! The crab, mussels, shrimp, and sausage were all cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Everything was seasoned just right. And then there was the hand-washing station, which was probably one of the coolest things we've seen at a restaurant! After getting our hands nice and messy (because we refuse to use gloves ), you put your hands into two openings and they're gently power-washed completely hands-free. My hands came out clean, odor-free, and even clean underneath my nails. You'll have to experience it for yourself because it's seriously so cool! For dessert, we tried the funnel cake fries, and I wasn't sure what to expect. They came out fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop eating them! They were the perfect sweet ending to a savory dinner. Sonia even packaged up all of our leftovers for us before we headed out. We left just as clean as we arrived--and very full and happy! Great food, great service, and a great overall experience. We'll definitely be back!

We opted for 2lbs of the Snow Queen Crab Legs and a 1lb of shrimp with a couple boiled eggs, corn and broccoli. The Broccoli was cooked to mush. The eggs were OK as was the corn. The issue is the Cajun seasoning. It's horrible. I can't describe it other than saying it's really bad and greasy. In fact, the bottom was swimming in oil...what ever Cajun seasoning used is overpowering and unlike anything I've ever tasted...and I'm in and out of Louisiana all the time. Most boils the seasoning makes the boil and that's the case here.

I had the squash and my wife had a baked potato. Both of our sides were just barely luke warm. Disappointing. The steak tasted good but also "barely" lukewarm warm. Even when it tastes good the temperature of a good steak is paramount to your experience. Not quite sure if we are willing to try again.

The catfish and shrimp are always fresh and perfectly cooked, with an incredibly thin, light, and crispy breading that lets the flavor of the seafood come through. Add in their unbeatable homemade tartar and cocktail sauces, and it's hard to find anything that compares. The value is just as impressive, at approximately a quarter of the price of many other catfish, shrimp, and chicken establishments. One of the things I love most is that I don't even have to read the menu. I just walk (or drive) up to the window and order exactly what I'm in the mood for. Maybe four pieces of catfish, 15 shrimp, and an order of fries. They always figure out the lowest price for exactly what I order, which I really appreciate.
