You can actually enter through the next door Stockyards Hotel lobby; just walk into the lobby and go to the left, walk towards the back and enter through the double doors. I really enjoyed my lunch sitting on a tooled leather stool at the bar by myself, and they even have real saddles if you want to sit on one of those. The server/bartender was so nice and she was very patient with me as it was my first time ordering here. I had the ribs plate which was fantastic with a corn cob and french fries. They feature a local craft beer called "Buffalo Butt Beer" which is why behind the bar there's a giant stuffed rear end of a buffalo. The server explained this to me. I think it must get crowded in here, but I didn't have a problem getting a spot to eat at the bar on a busy Sunday right after the rodeo. But you probably should make a reservation if you want a table. Don't miss the special metal sink near the restrooms at the back that is just for washing your hands after eating ribs! I highly recommend this place as the Stockyards Hotel itself where the restaurant and bar is located is a historic building and is actually the hotel where the outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow stayed in 1934. And as it looks like this saloon has been around for around 100 years, maybe Bonnie and Clyde had a drink at this bar as well.

I've had more fun sitting at the bar, having dinner, and meeting new people here than I can count. The food is consistently great. I really haven't had anything I wasn't thrilled with. Love the oysters, the Boudain, the bread, the grilled fish, the fried fish, all of it has been great. And then there are the scooners of beer. Hard to go wrong when one of those ice-cold bad boys slides in front of you. Great food, great atmosphere, and just a really fun place to hang out. Definitely one of those spots I keep coming back to.

We had the roasted oysters appetizers, which were good, next time we will try the fresh ones. She had the soft shell crab which was crispy and delicious with lots of fries. I had the 3 course restaurant special, house Pappadeaux salad, Atlantic Salmon seafood with dirty Cajun rice and vanilla cheesecake for desserts. She had a swamp thing cocktail which looked quite colorful. Are only gripe was some of the tables next to us were way too loud, it's ok we will come back again. Kait was our server but seemed busy, Anahi and another young gentlemen were also of great assistance and service though. Good teamwork during the dinner rush for sure.

The manger's at this restaurant are awful. The food was eatable. We arrived and were slowly seated. Once at our table "Gage" the amazing waiter immediately introduced himself. We placed our order, two orders of wagyu dumplings, I had the two lobster tails, my wife had steak and lobster and my son had salmon. We also ordered two adult cocktails. After we ordered one of the mangers walked up and delivered a small treat from the chef, she dropped it on my lap. She looked at me and said "we luckily it didn't fall on you that much". Never brought me a towel or anything. My wife had a couple of sips of her wine, when she looked down and noticed a fly moving in her glass of wine. She was not sure if she put her mouth on it, or drank another one that could have been in it. I immediately told the closest person who worked there and she said they would get a manager to come over. No manager ever came to our table. They replaced the wine. The manger's checked in the tables beside us but never once said we are sorry. On top of this, which wasn't a small mistake, the bread came out 30 mins after we sat down, my wife's steak was overcooked, my lobster tails were not 7 ounces and my sons salmon was overcooked! They got one extra star on this review for Gage but we will not be returning. Almost 500'dollars for food we could have eaten at some cheap place like Outback but at least there the managers would say something.

Our group attended for a company dinner and we enjoyed our array of delicious dishes as well as cocktails. Eddie V's is a fine dining experience with business casual dress code required. The interior is polished and elegant with a private room bookable for groups. Now to the food! Appetizers were incredible and I wouldn't mind them being the main course either, especially the calamari. Crispy, fried to perfection with stir fried veggies filled with so much flavor. For the main course, I had the Chilean sea bass. The quality of the seafood here does not disappoint. While Hong Kong styled, it does stray from the original dish stylistically. The traditional element of thinly sliced scallions doused with hot oil as a finishing touch to extract the essence wasn't there but replaced with a bed of micro greens. A little less flavor than expected but delicious nonetheless. Dessert was decadent with the dark chocolate notes mingling well with the fresh berries and ice cream. What stood out even more was the PROFESSIONAL staff. Hands down they were some of the best I've ever encountered in any restaurant experience. They were so attentive to all of us, got all of our orders down without any hiccups, and expertly maneuvered in and out during the company presentation which is definitely a challenge no doubt! Well done Eddie V's!

Waiter left & came back finally to ask me if I would like my clam chowder before the meal & I said yes. Another person delivered the bowl to the table with no spoon or crackers. Husband ordered the fried fish basket & it came with fries. He enjoyed it & was pleased. Mother inlaw order the fried shrimp basket with fries. It was a lot of food & she ended up taking most of it home. I additionally ordered the lobster roll that came with fries. The fries were abundant, but the roll was pretty small with mainly over cooked claw meat. It was not a stellar lobster roll. The clam chowder was very crowded with under cooked celery & very little clam meat. For the price of the meal there are better restaurants options I would choose over coming back. As far as the atmosphere goes, we were seated directly under the restaurant speaker. First round of songs were the Red Hot Chili Peppers only to be followed by a very explicit rap song that made me embarrassed for my 88 year old mother inlaw to hear. On top of that several families were in with multiple free range screaming children. They made no attempt to corral them or teach them proper manners of not screaming at the top of their lungs. Came to try, at $72.85 in cost we won't be back. Sorry

It was a little slow, but it seemed like a busy night, so it was understandable. We ordered the combo bag, which was reasonably priced and tasted delicious. Everything was flavorful, and I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in the area. A couple of things to note: the music is on the louder side, and the parking lot is shared with other businesses. That said, there was still plenty of parking available. I also noticed a steady stream of people picking up to-go orders, which says a lot about how popular this place is in the neighborhood

Unfortunately, after we left, my daughter realized she had accidentally left her birthday card on the table. The card contained $300 in birthday cash. We returned about an hour later, hoping it had been turned in. What was most disappointing was not only that the card was missing, but also the way we were treated when we returned. The manager was dismissive and referred to the card as being "of no value," which felt unhelpful and lacking in compassion. My daughter was left to look through the restaurant's trash herself, and no employee offered assistance. I understand that forgetting the card was ultimately my daughter's mistake, and we accept responsibility for that. However, kindness, empathy, and customer service cost nothing. Based on the circumstances, no other guests had been seated at our table before the restaurant closed for lunch, so it is very upsetting that the card was never found or turned in. We left feeling far more disappointed by the lack of care and respect than by the loss of the money itself. I hope Waters Restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reminds its staff that how they treat people during difficult moments matters. We also spoke to the police because of the circumstances and filed a report. Unfortunately, there are no cameras at this location.
