Went here with for a company dinner. It was okay. Cheesesticks were a win for appetizers, large portions & plenty on each serving that came out. The cesar salad was overly drenched in dressing, the dressing is good but it was a just alot. We do appreciate that there are alternative options offered not within the menu we had set, I think someone mentioned there was an alfredo & maybe another fish such as salmon? I can't remember all the reasons why we asked but I know one reason was because they said they could not cater to the individual steak preferences in large groups, made sense in an efficiency way when they explained it. What they didn't tell us after some chose not order steak for that very reason, was that after anyone who ordered steak & cut into it, they could back to cook it longer based on each individual's preference. I'm allergic to shrimp, I ordered the steak with vegetables. I did inform the waiter that I had a shrimp allergy, he was gracious & asked me a few questions to help better address my food preparation. A few minutes later another staff member, maybe a manager, comes in & thanks us for choosing there restaurant. Then he asks who has the allergy & asks the same questions the waiter asked me. It just put me on the spotlight that I (nor several of my coworkers) felt was necessary. It wasn't embarrassing but more annoying seeing how our waiter had been thorough, or come to me one on one just to reconfirm if needed. I felt bad for my coworkers because they now had genuine concern I might be exposed to something since many had shrimp dishes. I will say that I did enjoy the steak & asparagus. Dessert was delicious, a great creme brulee & the cheesecake slices were generous! Also, there were larger amounts of time between when the first person got their salad or soup to when the last person received theirs, same situation with the entrées. In both phases they basically asked who was missing what & then asked what they had. Refills & drinks, the same. Maybe they were short handed but if they were, we wished they would've communicated that so we could anticipate any timing issues. Aside from the allergy thing, the staff tending to us were very polite. Maybe it's more of a training issue higher up because they seemed to be doing their best, but right now it's a miss at this location.

Me and my sister ordered the Pappadeaux platter which was suppose to have more shrimp and crawfish tails it definitely didn't have more shrimp as my boyfriend order the seafood platter and there was the same amount of shrimp. Also there were no crawfish on our platters. We notified the waiter who then bought us out plates of like warm crawfish. The restaurant was nice but unable to accommodate our group of 12. So we sat at 2 tables very far apart. The fish on our platters were fried well but had no flavor. The shrimp and crawfish fondue was really good though. 1seafood platter 1 Pappadeaux platter 1 shrimo and crawfish fondue and 2 Arnold palmers came to $121 and change. We left a $21 dollar tip as well bringing the total to $142 and some change.

As we entered the hostess told us to let the server know if we are celebrating something...which was a little weird to me but I realized that this was a place to go for celebrations as there were quite a few "parties"...funny enough while we did have an occasion we didn't get any special seating or anything. Our server told us they do that so the manager can decide if they want to do something special. Spoiler alert...nothing happened. He was friendly and did everything as expected. It was on the busier side which made the dining room was a little loud, and crowded however it didn't effect how long the whole process took. We were able to order and get our food rather quickly, and everything was fresh and tasted good and we were satisfied with the portion sizes. It was on the pricer end...not ideal if you are looking for something casual. But if you wanted to have a fancy dinner that's not super expensive this would be a good spot.

Today we visited Pappadeaux yet again. This time it was for Restaurant Week. Food was great as usual. The special fixed price menu is a great deal. I wanted to acknowledge the great service of our waiter, a young man named Simon. He was a very knowledgeable, nice, sharp, good personality young man. Seek him out. He will take care of you.
Service was good. Sat in a little booth at the bar with a great view of the restaurant. Food here is very good, I've been many times. This time, I apparently ordered goo? The manchego mashed potatoes were a giant blob on the plate surrounded by butter. The fish was very small portion, 4oz. I would not get this again and wouls not recommended this particular dish. Visually unappealing. I will be back and will get something better next time
Great local chain with a wide variety of seafood options! The salad had a honey bacon which was interesting and paired well with the croutons. The oysters were large an tasty but I'd love a little more butter or sauce to dip in like New Orleans. The salmon, shrimp and scallops were delicious and a huge portion.
I came here with my family to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday, and everything was wonderful! The food was really good, and our server did an amazing job--she stayed on top of everything the entire night. The music added to the vibe, with a great playlist that made the atmosphere even better. For an appetizer, I had the fried calamari and octopus which was perfectly crunchy and full of flavor. I ordered the seafood pasta for my main dish--it was delicious! My husband had the salmon with rice and a side of beans, and he said it was really good as well. The drinks were tasty too! Overall, I'll definitely be back. I love southern food--it's so comforting, and this spot did it right.
The food was amazing the service was great, it was my first time comong here and everything just was delicious, the atmosphere was chill , and our waiteress was helpful and present . I would love to come back .

Pappadeaux Fondue!!!! Blacked fish with Yvette or Alexander sauce...to die for! We keep trying others but nothing compares to Pappeadeaux! Worth every penny!
We have always enjoyed this place, we started coming here over a decade ago for our anniversary. The Salmon Evette, which is no longer on the menu, is really good, and they can still make it today. The prices are going up but the portions are still large. One plate is enough to fill the stomachs of both my wife and myself. We came for our anniversary tonight and the food didn't disappoint. The cheesecake at the end was large as well and very good. The waiter was special and very nice. Only drawback today was being seated right at the opening of the kitchen. It was a buy spot. It was busy enough, we were glad to be seated so quickly on this night. It wasn't too late, it was dark out. The ambience is a mix of romantic darkness with candles on the table mixed with a fish market setting. It's a neat combination. We had a good dinner. Very happy.
Love the food, and the service has always been pretty good, but honestly, the vibe is what keeps bringing me back. I've had more fun sitting at the bar, having dinner, and meeting new people here than I can count. The food is consistently great. I really haven't had anything I wasn't thrilled with. Love the oysters, the Boudain, the bread, the grilled fish, the fried fish, all of it has been great. And then there are the scooners of beer. Hard to go wrong when one of those ice-cold bad boys slides in front of you. Great food, great atmosphere, and just a really fun place to hang out. Definitely one of those spots I keep coming back to. read more
Quite a big venue, busy when we arrived but they had a table ready for us in 5 minutes. Order your drinks and appetizers quickly during dinner, it gets busy on the weekends. We had the roasted oysters appetizers, which were good, next time we will try the fresh ones. She had the soft shell crab which was crispy and delicious with lots of fries. I had the 3 course restaurant special, house Pappadeaux salad, Atlantic Salmon seafood with dirty Cajun rice and vanilla cheesecake for desserts. She had a swamp thing cocktail which looked quite colorful. Are only gripe was some of the tables next to us were way too loud, it's ok we will come back again. Kait was our server but seemed busy, Anahi and another young gentlemen were also of great assistance and service though. Good teamwork during the dinner rush for sure. read more
I love Pappadeaux!! I always get the crab fondue to start. So good!!! We were in and out within an hour or less. The lighting is low, which is always a plus for a date night. They were soooo busy but by the service times, you'd never know. The food is always good and drinks are always on point! read more

The gumbo is pretty good, not as tasty/spicy as real Louisiana gumbo but has pretty good-sized chunks of celeries, shrimps & sausages. It is on pricey side at about $32 for a $32oz container. Service is on the slow side. read more
We had our office Christmas dinner here this year. I made a reservation but due to traffic came a little late. They worked us back in after a little wait. This place, like other locations, gets busy in the evenings. On top of that, there were a couple of other company groups as well. We were seated not long after but service was definitely slow. We ordered the fried calamari and fondeuax for appetizers. Both were great as usual. I ordered my favorite Atlantic Salmon Alexander which I had been looking forward to all week. Halfway through my meal, I realized something was off. To my dismay, I noticed I had been eating the wrong entree. My plate was being consumed by my boss and I was eating his Mississippi Catfish Opelousas. To be fair, both dishes look similar and we had a good laugh about it. We must have been too busy talking and laughing that we didn't noticed the server placing the wrong plates in front of us. There was a certain table nearby that was excessively loud and we tried to not let it ruin our mood. There were times we had to shout at each other to be heard. While I think it's great to go out and enjoy your party's company, consideration for other diners in a certain setting should be practiced. The staff could've been tact about this. Other than that, we enjoyed our meal and our company. This location was central for everyone but I still enjoy the Bedford location service and atmosphere better. read more

I had a good lunch at pappadeaux! We were a large group but our server was quick and attentive. The atmosphere was also pretty fun. Though I had the lunch pasta Mardi Gras it was a large portion so I'm glad I had leftovers to take home for dinner. I definitely recommend! read more

If i could 10 stars it would be! Absolutely amazing! Got a appetizer of Garlic cheese bread amazingggg! I got crawfish trio and ate every bit of it. My wife got the pasts Mardi gras and she was stunned by how good it was!!! My son got the parm buttered noodles with the chicken strips . He ate all of it at the age of 4!!! Said it was soooo delicous!!! Also ordered the turtle brownie with ice cream and raspberries was very sweet but it was delicous! I got told that it was going to be a 2 hr wait, they were super busy!!! Butttt It only took 23 mins.... like whattttt. The building was nice the staff was excellent and very helpful!!! I will be back several times! Kinda expensive $120 for 2 adults and 1 four year old without a tip but in my family's opinion welllllll worth the price!!!!!! read more

I ordered the shrimp etouffee and my date ordered the crawfish etouffee. I was disappointed in the rue as I thought it was somewhat greasy. I did enjoy the fried calamari and the shrimp. The calamari was cooked to perfection and I would highly recommend ordering this as an appetizer. Our meal came with a huge loaf of bread and butter that was delicious. The portion and size of the shrimp in my etouffee was impressive. My meal portion was enough to feed two people. The service and the staff were very friendly. The ambience was casual and relaxing. We were greeted with southern hospitality. Honestly, the food was good, but I have had better there. However, the friendly staff and service were beyond exceptional. read more

We decided on Pappadeaux's for our 1 year anniversary dinner, well my girlfriend did Lol I do not eat any seafood but I don't mind going to a seafood place as long as I can get a steak. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and we were seated immediately upon arrival, it was a busy Saturday night but the service was still quite good. I ordered the ribeye steak with baked potato and broccolinni and she ordered the grilled shrimp Alfredo pasta. My steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and tasted delicious, the broccolinni and potato were really good also. She liked the Shimp Alfredo pasta as well and also was a fan of the steak and broccolinni as I shared some with her, we ordered the Vanilla cheesecake which came with fresh strawberries and it was so good! Overall it was a great dinner and I could definitely see is coming back to pappadeaux's for dinner again in the future read more

We went for happy hours 3-6 at the location we went to just call and ask before heading out....happy hour was just for the area around the bar so we grabbed a drink until a both was ready. We ordered beer and apps from the HH menu we also got a life's a peach and a sea food platter which they split in the kitchen for us as we planned to share anyway... Our server was Brandon he was nice and attentive all in all it was a nice little dinner date with my boo!! read more

I'm a big fan of Pappadeaux and this restaurant specifically. Always great service, great ambiance and good food. I added this review specifically to rave about the Oysters Pappadeaux. Stopped in for an early dinner our server recommended these broiled oysters as an appetizer. I was blown away! Huge oysters with lump crab, spinach, hollandaise, etc. They were amazing. Seriously, I highly recommend both the restaurant and my new favorite oyster dish. read more

The Pappadeaux at DFW was surprisingly a pleasant experience. The Shrimp and Scallop Orecchiette Pasta was absolutely delightful. The perfect ratio of sauce to shell allowed me to enjoy the succulent, perfectly seared and seasoned scallops and shrimp. Likewise, the shells were prepared and cooked nicely. The asparagus was as fresh as it was crisp and the subtly elevated plating added a touch of elegance. A great option at DFW for fine dining quality at a modest price. This coupled with great bar service from Yvette and a knowledgeable Chef duo in Carlos and James, this gem is worthy of 5. read more
