We did 1lb of Snow crab legs with corn & sausage and 1 lb of boiled shrimp. It was delicious! We did the garlic butter boil, I think we'd do the Cajun next time for more spice. The portions were large, and the waitress was great! The only reason for the 4 stars, we had to wait awhile as they were busy and only had two order takers working. read more

We tried Kickin Crab for the first time instead of our usual spot and overall it was decent. We ordered Combo #2 with 1 lb crab and 2 lb shrimp, Kickin' style, mild heat. The seafood itself was good, but the flavor leaned very tomato-forward, which was unexpected for a seafood boil, and there wasn't much spice at all--even at mild. First let me tell you - ask for a tray! We arrived before the rush, but service felt slow once the restaurant picked up. Our server was clearly busy and moving around a lot, but we didn't get drink refills and weren't checked on again until we were basically finished. Not a bad experience overall, just not quite what we were expecting flavor-wise or service-wise. We might try it again, but it didn't beat our usual spot. read more

Good food, service was great, we felt bad because I forgot the name of the guy that served us. Pleasant vibes in the place, lots of TVs to watch the games. Had dungeness crab special with the "kickin it seasoning" or all of the above, I'd recommend. The spice level is also up to you. Sorry guys the crab didn't survive picture taking, but it does come with sausage corn and potatoes. We also tried some raw oysters, their clam chowder and calamari. The staff are very friendly here. You are greeted as soon as you enter. The place is neat and clean. I was dining alone and became overwhelmed with the menu choices because it offers a lot. Timmy was my server and he was able to guide me on the best selections for my appetite. He was really good with constantly checking if I was okay. The food was soooo delicious. I've been to a few crab boil places down Hulen and I personally think this one is the best one. I didn't have to wait for a long time to get a seat. We got seated immediately. Our server was incredibly nice and friendly. We ordered a pound of king crab in KC Fiesta with sausage and corn. We also ordered two steamed rice, calamari, and sweet potato fries. One pound of king crab were two king crab legs, which worked out because it was just me and my mom. There was way more than enough meat. I think why I liked this place more than the other ones down the street is because the KF Fiesta sauce blend was really memorable. I actually took it home because there was so much sauce left, but also because there was still sausage and corn too. I can literally just dump all of that over rice and that's a meal within itself. I also surprisingly enjoyed the sweet potato fries. My mom is a sweet potato fry fiend and I found myself scarfing down those fries faster than her. They were cut thin and they were sweet. The calamari was also tasty. It wasn't heavily salted or overly battered. The calamari wasn't chewy. It was perfectly cooked. The only bad thing I can say is that while the restaurant is well lit, our table was not. There's a pendant lamp that was covering the recessed light above so one spot of our table was pretty dark. Unfortunately, the service was a little lack luster with us having to ask for crackers for the crab, lemons for the oysters, and delays in the food. Half our table was able to finish their whole boil before the other half got theirs. I would told that this doesn't usually happen so it might of just been a one off event. read more

Everything about this place is phenomenal! From the service to the food, we didn't leave disappointed. The owners, Thi & Nick, are the sweetest and definitely took care of us! Our server was attentive and gave us recommendations for our boiled seafood. We loved her. When we come back, we will have to ask for her again! We got 2 of the snow crab bags, 1 lb live crawfish, fried oysters, cocktail pouches, and sweet potato fries. The KC Fiesta sauce was fantastic, it had a perfect blend of garlic and cajun spice. If I was making this review based on service I would give this place 1 star. There were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant and clearly they needed more staff for the number of patrons there when they opened on a Sunday. They have all of these cameras when you first walk in, which I thought was strange until I saw the inside of the front door with dine and ditchers. Drinks took forever and all we ordered was water. We never got any refills even though our drinks were empty. The food, however, was freaking delicious. Everything was so tasty! Then, we had to wait almost 20 minutes to close our bill out. I had gone up to the register to pay because it was busy and our server hadn't come by our table despite indicating to her we needed her several times. Kind of gave me the impression maybe some of those walked tickets were because of how long they make you wait to pay even if you are in their face. We won't be back. read more

The service here is exceptional! The ambiance is very relaxed and welcoming. We order combo 2 with shrimp and dungeness crab . Includes sausage, corn, and potatoes. Definitely enough for two people. The shrimp was really delicious with the KC sauce. The crab, which was pricey, was not flavorful and lacked seasoning. It was just off. I was a bit disappointed paying 91 for combo two and the best thing was the shrimp. They do offer wine, beer, and liquor. Not sure if we will try this place again. read more

Iced tea is a bit weak, but sodas & full bar also are available. Highly recommend shrimp (or crawfish when in season), bc all is cooked to perfection & just the right size to eat (no baby shrimp, thank you). My friend brought me here for my first time and I thought the seafood boil was great! Reasonably priced and add ons were pretty good too. I was pleasantly surprised. Recieved a good portion of shrimp (3lbs) for a better price than expected. Didn't expect much coming in but left with a full belly. Will definitely come back again. Servers are always roaming about, ready to help or assist when needed. When I went, a football game and UFC fight were displayed on different hanging monitors. The only thing that stood out was the manager. He didn't greet any tables while we were there. At one point he brought a dish to our table but didn't say anything, and later spent quite a while standing by the bar on his phone. It didn't negatively impact the service we received, but it did leave us a little unsure about the management presence. Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed the food. The staff we interacted with were great, but management left us wondering. We'll still come back for the crawfish though.
