Ordered the garlic noodles with sausage and shrimp and their crab rangoons and it was delicious!!! Very flavorful and seasoned well. The sauce for the rangoons was delicious as well.

I really enjoyed this place. Clean establishment with friendly customer service. Will return soon! The owner was inviting and patient since it was my first time visiting! He answered my questions about the food and helped me decide.

Good food. The guys were super nice! Not much seating to dine in but the music is good. I will definitely be back to try other stuff on the menu!!

The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was very clean. The portions were generous as well. I ordered the crab Rangoon, potstickers, and garlic noodles with shrimp (mild spice), and everything was flavorful. I'll definitely be coming back!

Amazing food & amazing service! I'm so happy there's some good Seafood boils on this side of town! Great flavor, great portions and fantastic prices!

We picked up takeout the other evening. The food was just what we wanted: fresh, hot and spicy. The service was great. We will go back!

While the bahn mi isn't exactly traditional, it is still very good -- I'd highly suggest getting it with the pate. The sampler appetizer has a little bit of everything and is great for sharing. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. Pad Thai also great! If you're a spicy eater like me, just go for very spicy. They have 4 spice levels (mild, medium, spicy, very spicy) and this is a reminder to myself to get very spicy next time. Thanks for the delicious meals!

A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.

The wait time is very long, every time we've come to this location and the arlington one. They NEVER have pickled daikon, which is a absolute staple, and sometimes they package togo orders so poorly that everything with collapse in the bag on your way home. With that being said, its still some darn good chicken, japjae, and baos. Just know that the frisco location is the best one.

First off I would like to say the people in the register were clearly doing their best. HOWEVER the Kitchen took forever to make our food. It feels weird that they seemed to prioritize the Delivery orders over the dine ins. The front said they were "Slammed" but there were only 4 tables dining in at the time. My brother ended up receiving his Fried Rice first. (Decently fast maybe 5 minutes) after that we waited... for almost 30 min. Nothing. Then the bulgogi fries came out after another 10 min which was my brother's. I haven't received my food yet. Decided to eat some of my brother's food. Bulgogi fries pretty good nice flavor. If my food tasted like this I'd be satisfied even for the long wait honestly. Another 10 minutes pass still no food for me. Once about hour passed I received my Bibimbap. The Namul (Sauteed Vegetables) were burned and the Bulgogi was overcooked. The egg was clearly not seasoned at all. There was NOTHING good about the Bibimbap. And I waited almost an Entire hour for this. After that I wanted to leave but I knew the Omurice would be arriving soon. Hopefully. And thankfully it arrived within the first couple minutes after the Terrible Bibimbap. I didn't bother tasting it until I got home because my mood was ruined after the Bibimbap. Once I got home I ate one bite of the Omurice and it was actually really good! So it left me wondering. HOW?!? I understand you may get a lot of Mobile orders HOWEVER those can literally wait until you click "Your order is ready". And your Bibimbap should NOT be overcooked. You have good Bulgogi why was it good on the Bulgogi fries but when you put it with the bibimbap it's overcooked and bland? Severely disappointed.

The prices are reasonable, and I originally wanted to try the sushi, but the restaurant was extremely warm inside, which honestly made me question how fresh the sushi would be. One thing that stood out was the huge variety of Asian cuisines on the menu. While having options is nice, it also made me wonder if they're really able to execute each dish well. I ordered the orange chicken with yakisoba noodles, but when my food arrived, I was served lo mein. The waitress even referred to it as lo mein. When I mentioned that I had ordered yakisoba, she insisted that it was yakisoba. It wasn't. Yakisoba and lo mein are two completely different dishes. To make matters worse, the noodles were cold, dry, and lacked any real flavor. The food also came out incredibly fast--less than ten minutes after ordering. While some people might see that as a positive, it made me feel like my meal wasn't prepared fresh and was likely pre-made or simply reheated. The appetizers were disappointing as well; they were doughy and bland. The orange chicken was actually good, but I didn't come here just for orange chicken. To top it all off, before we had even finished eating, the waitress/host brought us to-go boxes without asking if we were done. It made us feel like we were being rushed out, even though it was just a Sunday afternoon. Overall, I won't be returning. There were a few positives, but the poor food quality, incorrect order, and rushed service outweighed them. I was really hoping for a better experience.

It's those little personal touches that make this place so special. I grabbed a solo seat at the sushi counter since the restaurant was pretty packed. The food was every bit as good as I remembered, and the service remains outstanding. It's easy to see why this place stays busy. A few helpful notes: There's plenty of parking. They close after lunch and reopen for dinner, so check their hours before heading over. To-go orders are also available.
