Absolutely loved Pacific Table! Came here to celebrate a coworkers birthday mid week and it was such a great time! The restaurant had sort of a chic-nautical decor. Appreciated how our server gave us plenty of time to catch up and chat before taking our orders. The drinks were great and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Great little spot in University Shopping Center, love the garlic rosemary fries here, for an app with a cocktail, also the Brussels sprouts salad, and burger are all very well done. I'm going to start this review by saying this: ask for Jordyn! She was absolutely incredible and made the experience even better. I was in town for work and when I was craving seafood, a coworker/friend suggested we go to Pacific Table. We were in the mood to try a few different cocktails so Jordyn suggested we split them so we weren't drinking / wasting a full drink if we didn't like it. It's been a while since I was there and it looks like their cocktail menu rotates but the two that are still on the menu as I write this review are the Yuzu Lemon Drop and the Cucumber Martini If you're comfortable with who you're dining with, get the grilled artichokes as a starter. When I say these were grilled to perfection.. my goodness!! We split the brussels sprout salad and removed the chicken. I don't remember there being chopped egg in the salad like the menu states but the brussels sprout leaves, manchego and craisins were a great combination! I wish I would have wrote this review earlier because our main course was the special of the evening. I believe it was a miso glazed cod with lump crab. Or maybe it was a lemon butter sauce. Ahh well whatever it was it was incredible and we asked Jordyn for more sauce because it was that good. We finished the evening with a slice of yellow cake with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream (that also isn't on the current menu ) and we were pleasantly surprised!! read more

I searched seafood near me, while we were visiting the botanical gardens, and this place popped up with decent reviews. I looked at the menu and saw sushi also and so that was a win. The salad was very tasty I'd say a 8/10. Edamame was 10/10, loved the flavor. The pacific dip was a recommendation; and it was okay; 6/10. But my mom loved it. So it's just different taste buds. It was just sub par for being fancy priced. The oysters were delicious. My kids got the grilled salmon and the grilled cheese off the kids menu. Both were very tasty. My mom ordered the rainbow roll and said it was a 10/10. I ordered 2 nigiri platters (one for my kids), the crispy rice duo and the so fire roll. The platter was delicious, the crispy duo as well. Both 9.5/10, the so fire roll drew me in with the truffle ponzu; but was a tad disappointing with execution of flavors. It was good but not as amazing as the description sounded; 8/10. Did a follow up on this place today and it was everything that I wanted and expected. Edamame had so much flavor! The Pecan Veggie Burger might be the most underrated item on their menu. Their actual burger is fabulous also. The chefs kiss was the Buttercake with a raspberry compote for dessert, a new item that should replace the lemon meringue pie. I've been here for brunch a few times and it is pretty good. The Redfish was amazing it's possibly my favorite dish. I had to get it to pregame for my trip to NOLA next week. The drinks are good, not over powering at all. Service is ok. A little slow and I'm not sure why when the whole patio was empty they put the 2 tables that came in right next to us where it got pretty loud. We had trouble talking to each other and had no privacy. Not sure I'll choose to come back... but if my friends ask I may end up there lol. read more

Great place for a really nice lunch! The hostess was friendly and seated us promptly. The space has a warm, upscale vibe, especially with the very pretty matte gold front wall. Tried the Rainbow Roll, which was just okay. Based on our server's recommendation (didn't catch her name -- she had beautiful long braids), we ordered the amazing Crab Cake, paired with the kale salad components from the Ahi Salad -- a 10/10! If you never had the very famous hybrid Italian/San Francisco Cioppino seafood soup you are very much missing out. It is absolutely one of my all time favorite dishes and I never really care about the super high price Cioppino is a very rich sea food soup, made with clams, mussels, scallops, white fish and shrimp. Some restaurants will add crab legs depending on the season. All of that is cooked in a tomato, white wine, fennel broth which taste like pure heaven. When I travel, this and ramen is a dish I seriously search out! Pacific table did a wonderful job on their version of the wonderful recipe! Going to be my new go to hang out. Well, sometimes I am right on top of a great new restaurant opening, and sometimes I am way late to the party. Today was a case of the latter. Is there a support group out there for Yelpers like me? LOL. Anywho, this restaurant which is tucked remarkably comfortably back in the northwest corner of University Park Village is typical of what we have come to expect from Felipe Armenta in terms of decor, ambiance, vibe, and cuisine...a gem. Everything we have come to expect from his venues is at work here. Surprisingly for a location such as this in an urban shopping center, there is a lovely patio area that transports you from an urban shopping center to maybe a coastal desert restaurant patio on the Southern California coast with the ocean just beyond the patio's wall. Being old timers we began with a shared bowl of the clam chowder. The rendering of this dish here is remarkable. I have had two other offerings in the last couple of weeks at FTW restaurants we enjoy. Both good. But this version here at PT is off the chain. I can't believe I didn't put my glasses on to examine the chowder more closely as it contained some colors and shapes I'm not used to seeing in chowder. But I was hungry, my glasses were in my jeans pocket, and I figured I could ask our fine server, Saul. Which, of course, I failed to do. Some minced broccoli? Anyway the flavors were clammy, robust, lovely, and the perfectly sized cubed potatoes were perfectly cooked; tender and not the least bit overcooked and mushy. A++ on this chowder. We shared as well the entree, Trout Almandine. This was as great a preparation of this dish as we've ever enjoyed. It was accompanied today by sautéed spinach. The fresh spinach was laced with small slivers of crisp Napa cabbage sautéed along with the spinach in olive oil / butter? a bit of onion perhaps and fresh garlic? It was finished with a sprinkling of fresh, finely crumbled parm stirred in. The spinach could not have been sautéed more perfectly. Dunno if you have ever sautéed spinach, but it's NOT easy to cook without totally wilting it into a mushy mess. I Know. This is done superbly. We're going back soon to do this same meal! LOL. She asks if i'd like to sit at the bar - I advised I didn't mind and peaked around to see a crowded bar. Mind you, I'm the only one waiting to be seated. She advised to check around the side of the bar and possibly there'd be a seat there... I walked around the loaded bar, decided to hit the clean restroom and exited afterwards. I was thinking that if you solicit a bar seat, why not escort me to the bar, and if there's no place to my liking, escort me to a table which i requested initially? PT is 2 for 2 in customer service- and not in a good way. Now I could be wrong, but I think this is where restaurants can step it up a bit and ensure customers are seated when seats are available and not sent on the hunt for one- particularly during busier times. It's been quite a while since I've dined in here but since I was in the area I decided to see if it was still just as yummy! Well it did not disappoint. The first clue that this spot was still popping was the ginormous crowd of people seated inside, at the bar, at the sushi bar and outside dining. For a school night it looked like a Saturday evening. Even without a reservation we were seated right away. Our waiter quickly came to greet us and took our drink order. Soon after we were ready to place our entree order and decided upon the roasted organic chicken and short rib plates. Both came out plated beautifully and the flavor did not disappoint. Even as we sat there enjoying the food before us, we couldn't help but notice all the beautiful dishes being delivered to other tables. For dessert we kept it simple and enjoyed the crème brûlée. One star is "not good", and it was not good. My friend and I met for dinner at 6:30, with reservations. We were placed in the middle of the room that was extremely noisy - it was difficult to hear each other, much less the waiter. We ordered a cocktail each and a dozen oysters. The oysters never came. Another waiter came by and we ordered the grilled artichoke, which was okay but exceptionally greasy. My friend ordered the cedar plank salmon (which arrived sans cedar plank) and, upon the waiter's recommendation, I ordered the filet with crab and a béarnaise sauce, rare to medium rare. Meanwhile, yet another waiter stopped by and we inquired about the oysters, reducing our order to 6 instead of twelve. They were delivered moments before our entree, and we waited 10 minutes for requested tabasco sauce which came in a small bowl. Meanwhile, the first waiter (who had neglected to put in the oyster order) announced he would bring "the other six". Uh, no. Now, to the entree...seriously overcooked. The inside of the filet was brown all through and felt hard - like well done. The filet came with mashed potatoes that were, inexplicably, served on a separate plate. The béarnaise sauce was gelatinous and broken, with a pool of butter around the steak. And the plate was ice-cold. I sent it back, while encouraging my friend to enjoy her cedar-plank-not-cedar-plank meal. Fifteen minutes later, another filet arrived and it was the EXACT SAME THING. The inside looked like a chewed on cigar. I sent it back, and the manager asked if I would order something else after arguing that the steak had be temp tested. But that steak was completely intact - clearly no temp test had been done and it was seriously overcooked. I ordered the branzino, the fish special. My cold plate of mashed potatoes swimming in a pool of butter was whisked away and, long after my friend had finished her meal, I was finally served dinner. Again, on an ice-cold plate, and the fish - which should have a beautiful crispy skin, was served skin-side down on a smear of mashed potatoes, rendering it soft and slimy and creating a barrier to enjoying the potatoes. Meh. For all of this - 3 hours - they comped a glass of wine and one dessert. I don't get it. The Fort Worth location is lovely, food is excellent, service has always been good when I have visited. This was the exact opposite. If you want to impress your clients by spending too much on mediocre food and poor service, this one's for you. They have a beautiful patio and the inside is very relaxed, although it did get pretty noisy. We ordered a crab cake as an app even though it wasn't on the menu and it was so good!! Fresh lump crab and not really any filler. For dinner I chose the cioppino and oh my goodness was it delicious!!! The seafood was excellent, the broth was incredible, and there was small pastina size pasta at the bottom which was a nice addition. Also came with some excellent grilled bread for dipping. **0 star** I will never return to Pacific Table Fort Worth again. I visited on Friday, May 9 for a late working lunch with a coworker and experienced blatant discrimination and disrespect. From the moment we walked in, I was ignored and dismissed by the staff, while my white coworker was acknowledged and engaged. I'm a Black woman with natural hair, and on that day I was casually dressed -- and clearly treated differently because of it. At one point, I went to wash my hands and left my belongings, including my credit card (which I had already given to a staff member), at the table. The waitress then confronted my coworker, accusing me of trying to dine and dash -- an assumption that was not only offensive but completely unfounded. No one apologized, and instead of owning their mistake, the staff became defensive, cold, and avoided serving us for the remainder of the meal. When we calmly tried to speak with a manager, the hostess Brittany accused us of being inappropriate and asked us to leave. I was stunned and hurt -- not just by the initial behavior, but by the complete lack of accountability and professionalism shown by the team, including the shift manager who provided no resolution. This experience was humiliating and upsetting, especially as someone who has had excellent service at Pacific Table's other locations. The team in Los Colinas, especially Thomas Nellen and staff, consistently provide warm, respectful service. What happened at the Fort Worth location was the complete opposite. Do better. Discrimination has no place in hospitality. read more

This is a smaller restaurant so during peak hours, you may be seated near the kitchen in the back even with a reservation. It can get pretty hot during the summer so keep that in mind. Our server was wonderful and the manager was very sweet when he came to check on us and provide some insight on the restaurant's history. The salmon was my most memorable bite. It was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. We had the smoked fish dip and shrimp as apps and enjoyed those as well. I enjoyed everything we tried. Portions are a little bit random, as some entrees were plentiful and others like the dip left something to be desired (extra bread - which we paid $6 for I think). Fluffy, yet dense, sweet, but not too much so, lightly lemony and oh so mouth watering with just the memory of them. Other than the pancakes, everything else was okay. The frittata wasn't overcooked and the potatoes weren't too salty, but these items would not have made it in my food diary if I had one. They needed more umph, and I'm sure the chefs here can do better than that. As for the chilaquiles... these would have probably been fine however they weren't timed well with the delivery of the rest of our food; they came out very soggy and cold, but the flavor was promising! These require heartier, homemade chips and a last minute assembly. But as I said, this place is the bees knees, so go give them a shot, if not only for the cocktails. Pacific Table is hands down my favorite restaurant back home. Their ahi tuna salad is my absolute favorite salad of all time. It's a kale salad with pear, grapefruit, and avocado. Its topped with the ahi tuna and sunflower seeds and has the perfect citrusy dressing. I also love their Lincoln Roll and Pacific Roll, both are raw fish rolls which are my favorite. The crab cake salad is another one of my favorites. The crab cakes are so light and delicious. I'm not usually a salad person but there's something about Pacific Table's salads. I'm not usually a fan of coconut, but their coconut cream pie completely changed my mind. It's honestly the perfect balance of sweetness and has a homemade crust. The lemon meringue pie is also just as amazing, my family usally gets a slice to-go for the next day. My parents are now friends with the waiters because we eat at Pacific Table so often. They're always super nice and friendly. The ambiance there is great. You're able to go dressed up or down making it a great spot for any occasion. read more
