Tricky Fish is a coastal cajun restaurant near Whole Foods. They offer lunch and brunch specials and cocktails specials daily. The food is great, very well seasoned with lots of flavor. The dining room is large and open. They also have a wonderful dog friendly patio. The service is good, the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, really great.

We recently visited Tricky Fish for a celebratory lunch honoring a great friend, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our party of 11 truly enjoyed every last bite. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were very generous. Started off with their sample of hush puppies and a side of butter. Highlights included the Kitchen Sink Gumbo loaded with shrimp, fish, chicken, andouille, and rice; the rich and flavorful Bourbon Sherry Shrimp Linguine each dish was prepared beautifully and full of flavor. On top of the great food, the service was outstanding. Cristal and Pantera took excellent care of our large group, keeping everything running smoothly with friendly, attentive service. This was the perfect spot for a celebration, and we'll definitely be back. Also they add 20% gratuity to eight or more as a group automatically

It was our first time here. It is a nice sized and bright space. Nice & attentive staff. Mostly tables vs booths (only seats 4 btw). My etouffe was tasty and mild Spicy (default). The kids meal was good quality & portion for my 7 y/o & came with a drink. Redfish dish was a good portion and tasty; okra was crispy fyi. The fried green tomatoes with shrimp and a nice shareable size and fresh. Bloody Mary was a hit. They do have week day happy hour food & drink specials which are tempting. Definitely worth a try if I'm a seafood mood.

First time here for lunch at Tricky Fish. Was greeted with a smile upon entering and seated immediately. It has a nice bar area as well as tables. I was here right at noon on a weekday. I ordered the Fish & Chips which comes with fries and slaw. The plate/tray with the fish was presented well. The fish was delicious. It was hot and crispy. I liked the tartar sauce, it had a little heat. The slaw was ok and the fries could have been a crispier (personal preference).

Repeat customers! Service is always friendly and unbeatable. Tonight was no exception. Crystal was awesome! 30A Queso with shrimp added was a nice starter along with the hush puppies during their happy hour. Good deals during happy hour! Family gave thumbs up on the Fish Sandwich with coleslaw and grilled Mahi Mahi with loaded mashed potatoes & grilled squash. Now, to the current special. Crab Stuffed Shrimp = OMG!!! Orzo pilaf with spinach, mushrooms, & grape tomatoes in a lemon butter sauce!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants, and my top choice for my birthday dinner this year. However, my birthday happened to fall on Fat Tuesday, so I almost chose another restaurant to avoid the holiday crowd. Thankfully, we were able to reserve a table (online via Yelp) and arrived just before it started to get crowded. The atmosphere was lively: live music, Mardi Gras decorations, staff wearing costumes, etc. The entire staff was on point; bustling around and helping one another like a choreographed dance routine. Our server, Ashley, was a real hoot and she made our evening fun. Food, as always, was delicious. Thanks, Tricky Fish for making my bday special!

Drinks were amazing! Strong and tasty! Bartender was sweet and pleasant. Location was nice and ambience was nice. Margarita was classic and nice flavor. Sunset on the Rox was delicious. Will return again.

As the name might suggest, this places focuses on cocktails throughout the world. Nonetheless, as the opportunity presented itself, we have usually opted happy hour. The first time I came here, I asked for a drink that was recommended. The bartender made a wonderful espresso martini. Despite what I mentioned, this was not on the happy hour menu. It was still a great drink nonetheless. I should have clarified from my end that I was looking for a happy hour drink. Good level of espresso liqueur with smooth vodka. Also, simple presentation with the coffee beans on top. The second time I came here it was also for happy hour. This time, I got the Bee's Knees. This was refreshing and sweet. The harshness of the gin did come through at times but at a tolerable amount that wasn't overwhelming. I liked the visuals of the dehydrated lemon slice. In both visits, we were regularly checked on by staff seeing if we had anything else to order, to gets dishes/glasses out of the way, refill water, etc. Always so kind! I will also note that the restrooms are incredibly clean and well-stocked. Although I've only come to Atlas for happy hour, I would certainly love to come back some day later in the evening because I've heard the vibe and atmosphere is especially more lively during that time.

When we finally arrived, what could've been a ruined evening turned into one of the most memorable nights we've had. Every single person we encountered at Blackland was incredibly kind and welcoming. Marshall greeted us with warmth, and Jeremy? He's not just a bartender--he's a cocktail artist. The drinks he crafted for us were next-level, easily some of the best we've ever had. He truly understands spirits and how to elevate them. We were genuinely torn when it was time to leave for our dinner reservation at Wicked Butcher--honestly, we could've stayed sipping Jeremy's creations all night. The restaurant is surprisingly small, located on the other side of the bar from the entrance (I wouldn't have known where to go if my dining companions hadn't been here previously.) I loved that it wasn't too loud, the four of us were seated at a large round half booth/half chairs table and were able to converse without voices raised and the dreaded "whaaaat?" Food was yummy! Everyone was going nuts over the Ritz and Dips appetizer but all my attention was on the sourdough bread, so good. Salads are generous, we split two Caesar salads between the four of us and it was a perfect portion for starters (this is not your classic Caesar but we enjoyed the different take on it.) I'm a pescatarian and the chef was so accommodating to make me my own non-dirty farro to accompany the redfish. Great flavors! Some others of us ended up ordering several appetizers as entrees and it was all delicious. Husband said the Hot Rock Wagyu Rib Cap appetizer (prepared table-side) was incredible. They make a rich plenty dark decaf Americano which was my dessert of choice. We were all too full to order any treats, maybe next time. Finally, our server Lauren was AMAZING! She really helped make it a great evening. Which helped take the edge off when we got the post-meal surprise that valet parking isn't complimentary (I see by the reviews that it maybe used to be?) but $10. Not too expensive, I guess, but considering the $700-$1700/per night cost of rooms at this hotel you'd think they might want to throw the locals coming in for a meal a little appreciation. Just saying.
