Wedge Salad

Park in close garage if none available out front. (It's increasingly Dallas style without valet option). Can be business casual or fancy. Extremely dim lighting. Texas Blue Lump Crab served atop tomato butter is delicious - 5/5 Bread - 5/5 perfection- tasted freshly baked and right out of the oven. Wedge Salad- sundried tomatoes & blue cheese dressing, 4/5. With dimly lit room, sun dried tomatoes play a little mind trick because it may also be bacon. 6oz filet - cooked as requested and very good. 5/5 Garlic mashed potatoes - 5/5 Sugar Snap Peas - 3/5 Chocolate Cake - got it to go. husband devoured it. Andrew- service was 20/10!!! He had a good 35 people and was running the space. I've been to plenty of these dinners and it takes several staff to execute. He announced menu, took every individual order answering all the questions and needs, served food and drinks, bus the tables, take plates back to make to go boxes per person- just wow. There were a couple other staff that came in a couple of times but I was truly amazed how Andrew was able to serve the large group! (I don't recommend he has to keep doing that as ge should have more help but want to give him a big shout out for his great work!)

This place is spacious and has lots of ambient lighting (might be a little TOO dark in certain areas). I got the III Forks Salad which was so good. The maple vinagrette paired with the toasted pecans made a perfect balance of sweet and earthy. There was also some black pepper dusted on the edges which made it a little smokey and spicey at the same time. As for entrees I got the New York strip medium rare and it was a tad overcooked, but I still enjoyed it. The steak was pretty large and filling. I also got to try the salmon and it was soft and tender with a slight crust to it. I definitely preferred this between the two.

Silver Fox has an incredible menu and even better service. We visited for a work event, and the staff went above and beyond to make everything absolutely perfect. From the cocktails to the dessert, every detail was thoughtfully done and every guest left impressed. I ordered the Delmonico ribeye, and I highly recommend it! The presentation alone is a fun surprise, and the flavor was perfection. To finish, the crème brûlée was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly crisp on top and silky smooth underneath. Whether you're planning a romantic date night or a polished business dinner, Silver Fox is a fantastic choice. They truly know how to deliver an unforgettable dining experience!

The location and exterior are a little deceptive-not what you'd expect from a highly rated steakhouse. The interior makes up for it with great lighting, seating arrangements and overall comfort. Service is top notch. I have to say that the glassware was squeaky clean - that has never happened before in a restaurant where I've dined. Food was all excellent and cooked to perfection. Wine list comprehensive and met our expectations. We will be back!

Ate here and tried a few items. The calamari was great for a steakhouse, and the diver scallops were amongst the better appetizers I've eaten a place of this caliber. Reasonably priced near TCU for what it is. Exceptional service and outstanding wine selection, with many old school California staples available.

This is my second review of this restaurant, and once again it was an unforgettable experience. The assistant manager, Trent, greeted me by name at the door and immediately made us feel welcome. To my surprise, they even went so far as to seat us in one of their private dining areas, which made the evening feel extra special! Our waiter, Jeff, has now served me three different times, and every single time he delivers exceptional service. He's attentive, personable, and truly elevates the dining experience. I brought my daughter, two of her best friends, and one of their mothers, and all of us agreed that this is hands down the best restaurant in the area--even better than some of the other well-known steakhouses nearby. Such a thoughtful and memorable evening with good friends, AMAZING food and exceptional service! I will continue to bring my family and friends here, because I know every visit will be just as incredible!

The service was great. You even get to pick out your steak knife for the evening. The steak was delicious. I will definitely be back!

Visited 12/29/23 for the first time. Occasion was a birthday and it was definitely an excellent choice. At check in, there was a line and I did have reservations and wanted to make sure we checked in on time. When I go to the front, the hostess never acknowledged me, until I said excuse me, we have a reservation. She wasn't the nicest or most helpful, but we were escorted to our seat. Reservation had birthday (surprise) notes and this was related to the waiter. Now, our waiter Rogelio, was incredible. From start to finish, he was outstanding. Helpful, informative, and my boyfriend was impressed and happy with his service. Rogelio went above and beyond to ensure things were well Cocktails - blackberry smash (made to perfection) and the Tito's Martini was on point Appetizer - beef croustade Main - Surf & turf (chef's special) and baseball cut filet (Oscar's way). Dessert - Texas Pecan cake Food was wonderful! Asparagus was meh - was not a flavorful as we'd hoped but still good. One of our steaks wasn't cooked correctly and THANK GOODNESS Rogelio noticed and asked to have it sent back to the kitchen and fixed. We didn't want to complain over it but it was medium rare and we'd ordered medium well. It was returned by the chef, replated, and cooked as requested. Now..:the cake. ABSOLUTELY DIVINE! We devoured the entire slice and there were no regrets. If anything, GET THE DESSERT! Great dinner and excellent experience.

What a great place to visit and have dinner Recommend you have a reservation Easy to find and plenty of parking in the University Park area Michael was our server and took good care of us. Great wine selection and plenty of options for cocktails Started with the Texas Blue Crab cake. Nice start. It comes as one palm sized cake and a dark crust on top. A smooth and not overwhelming. Then the steaks. A Filet Mignon and a Bone in ribeye. They both were cooked to perfection. Comes with mashed potatoes and stir fried veggies. You can add an additional side, which we are so glad to order the crispy brussel sprouts... Oh so good. For dessert we ended with the creme brulee with berries. It was amazing. Highly recommended. Would we go back? Absolutely We will be back.

I essentially lived at Wicked Butcher this week while staying at the Sinclair Hotel, eating here…read moretwice, and it absolutely delivered on every level. The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

We ordered the bone-in ribeye with wicked sauce (their own made version sauce of steak sauce, amazing!), pasta bolognese, potatoes, and the cauliflower. We tried the banana pudding for dessert. Made just right, and wasn't overly sweet. For drinks, we did the espresso martini and their version of the aperol spritz. The vibe and the ambience were dim, but not dark. Good for a night date night or dinner with good friends.

DFW is massive. My friend was 30 mins late, but I wasn't trippin. I used that time to charge my phone and get a little work done. We didn't have a resy, but were seated right away. First of all, this place is massive. We both started with the espresso martini before realizing they had a happy hour menu. Our second drink was from the hh menu even though we had no business having a second cocktail. To start, we shared the fried green tomatoes. For whatever reason, we both ended up getting the western burger. Food was great. There was so much of it that I was only able to finish half and ended up taking the rest home. Great service as well. The place was crowded by the time we left. We only planned to stay for 45 minutes, but ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. Big thanks to the bartender. I had my first meal at Cattlemen's Steakhouse in Fort Worth while visiting the Stockyards, and…read moreoverall, it was a great experience. A few items were not my favorite. The fried mushrooms were meh for me, and the salad was ok. That said, the bread that comes with the meal is excellent, and the creamed spinach was very good. I think they could step up their ranch game. The steak, though, absolutely stole the show. We ordered the Cattlemen's Porterhouse. It is a very large steak and easily enough for two people. You really just need to order an extra salad and maybe one or two sides. Ours was a little undercooked, but we did not send it back. We ate it and were still very, very happy with it. We also had the onion ring appetizer, which was excellent. They are onion rings, so don't go in expecting some world-changing event, but they were very good. Sweet onions, cooked well, and served with barbecue sauce and ranch. Do yourself a favor and skip the barbecue sauce. Get double ranch. Back to the steak: it was easily one of the top five best steaks I have ever had. I travel extensively for work, eat out often, and have been fortunate to visit some of the nicest steakhouses in the country. Maybe this was a one-time fluke, but gosh darn it, that steak was amazing. It is cooked over a wood-fired grill and has an incredible smoky char. The flaky salt they put on top after grilling just sets it off. It was phenomenally well seasoned. I highly recommend Cattlemen's. We will absolutely be back again -- just maybe not ordering the fried mushrooms next time. One tip: if there is a long wait, check OpenTable. We were told the wait was about an hour and a half, but I checked OpenTable and we were seated within about 15 minutes.

The iceberg wedge salad was fresh and well-balanced, with tangy dressing and blue cheese that complemented it nicely. The only downside was the wait-time estimate. The hostess quoted us 35 minutes, but we were seated in just 10. We had almost left for another restaurant, so a more accurate estimate would have been appreciated. Service: Our server, Sierra, went above and beyond. She kept us updated while the kitchen searched for chili flakes and sincerely apologized when they couldn't find any. When we asked about the menu and the restaurant's history, she enthusiastically shared stories and even brought us an original menu from the 1940s, where the prime rib was listed for just $1.34. The manager also stopped by to check on us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Ambience: The restaurant has a warm, nostalgic atmosphere, with classic American songs playing in the background. The booths are spacious and comfortable, making it an enjoyable place to relax and enjoy a meal.

None of our meals disappointed us and we left very satisfied by the experience. Memories for a lifetime! While it was a lovely experience in a stunning environment, it fell a bit short of the high bar you'd expect for a $95/pp tea service. The Good: First and foremost, the environment is absolutely beautiful. The Bowie House, Bricks & Horses restaurant, and the Mulberry Room itself are gorgeously decorated with a sophisticated Texas Western theme. The atmosphere in the Mulberry library is intimate and visually striking. Additionally, the service was excellent from start to finish, being both attentive and professional. The food portions are quite generous, with both the savories and sweets served together on a single tower. The sweets were the highlight of the food, as they were very delicious and surprisingly large. We also really enjoyed the tea selections themselves, particularly the Earl Grey and the plum rooibos. The Letdowns: Unfortunately, a few details missed the mark, especially considering the premium price point: - The "Champagne": The experience is advertised as including a glass of Champagne, but we were actually served Prosecco. At nearly $100 a person, substituting Prosecco for real Champagne or Cremant is a major disappointment. - The Tea Service: Instead of receiving a teapot to enjoy throughout the afternoon, the tea is steeped directly in the cup. This limits you to a single cup per tea variety, though to be fair, I didn't ask if refills were an option. - Food Refinement: While the portions were large and the savories were tasty, they lacked the elegance of a traditional tea. Every savory option was open-faced and heavily blanketed in microgreens and edible flowers, which felt a bit unrefined. - Comfort & Conversation: The Mulberry library features low couches, deep chairs, and coffee tables. While this setup would be absolutely perfect for relaxing with a glass of whiskey, it makes leaning over to eat finger foods highly uncomfortable. Furthermore, the seating layout isn't ideal for holding a natural conversation with the people in your party. Overall: It is a nice experience in a breathtaking Fort Worth hotel, but I'm not sure I would return. If the price point were lower, the execution would make more sense. However, given the other highly refined afternoon tea options available across DFW for less money, this one doesn't quite live up to its price tag.
