10/10 all around. The service is excellent, the ambiance is absolutely perfect and does temporarily transport you to CDMX which I absolutely love. Lastly, the food is great. We had an excellent experience at the lounge while we waited - listening to an INCREDIBLY talented singer. Start to finish dinner was an experience we all enjoyed! And there's a club at the basement level which feels like you're in a whole new spot! Such a great time - I'll be back!

I visited Polanco for a sisters date recently. I was excited to check out this new restaurant in the downtown area. The restaurant itself is very well decorated with a high end ambiance. This is a great spot for a date night or drinks with the girls. We had a reservation, but we had to wait over 20 minutes before we were sat. Our waiter was nice, and did his best to explain the menu. Our food and drinks came in a timely manner. I had the vegetable enchiladas, which I enjoyed. After our meal, the server led us to their newly opened reggeaton club located on their bottom floor. Since it was new, there weren't many people there, but I can definitely see it becoming a hotspot during the summer. Overall I had a positive experience at Polanco and would visit again.

Update: after the response from PR person below, i wish i could give this place 0 or negative stars. It was a comical response at best and carried a tone of indifference and indignation. Really could have responded better. Sounds like youre saying you made it right when you clearly didnt. It was not just 1 plate cooked wrong, it was 4. And you only remade one without apology and we still had 3 more that were never addressed. You should take care to have better customer service during and after experiences or you wont last long. Repeat customers is how you stay in business, there are only so many new ones... I had been super excited to try this restaurant. After missing the perfect reservation time a few weekends in a row, finally got a chance to try it about a month ago with my husband and another couple. I had high expectations given the price tag and dress requirements for the place. It started off great; but just ended very poorly. The good: The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant we're absolutely perfect. I expected the food to be the same way. The drinks were eclectic and poured well. Appetizers were also tasty and well presented. The (very) bad: The main courses, which were the most expensive part of the meal were very subpar at best. I ordered the salmon and my husband the steak. The other couple did the same. We ordered our salmon well done, and the steaks medium rare. The salmon came out medium rare and the steaks Well done. We push through it however, only eating the outsides of the salmon. One of the steaks was so well done however, he did have to ask they remake it. When we told them what might have been the issue, (that the chefs reversed the cooking temperatures), the manager who had brought the new steak over didn't even apologize for the confusion. You would've thought he would've at least comped the steak because that person had to wait quite a while to get their steak remade. It's not what we were expecting however, but an apology at the very minimum would have been nice. That experience is not what I'm used to when it comes to fine dining. I have been to ALL the high-end restaurants in Fort Worth and rarely does over or under cooking happen when youre spending $50+ a plate. The one time that it did happen about 5yrs ago at Capital Grille, the manager just took care of the meal. At any rate, the price tag does not fit the experience. Unsure we'll be going back when there are so many better options.

Polanco delivers an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is stylish and energetic, perfect for a night out. The food is wonderfully delicious and truly authentic Mexican cuisine with bold, rich flavors in every bite. Diana was exceptional -- attentive, warm, and made sure everything was perfect. Even without a balcony, the ambiance and overall vibe are top-tier. Definitely one of Fort Worth's best spots.

Service was spectacular. Our waiters were Xavier and Ashley's they were great. Went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was perfect. Food was delicious and drinks were great as well. They did miss out on one star for ambience since the music they play is terrible. I felt like I was in an elevator the whole time. They should add a little Mexican flair and add some Spanish music to go with dinner.

Food is sub par at best. Creative, sure, but tasteless and over priced. $25 for three tacos with no taste and no sides? No thank you. Service was great. Our waiter, Alan, did a great job job taking care of us. The ambiance on a Friday night is a little loud and dark but lively and popping.

Vibes and ambiance were great. Service was great and all the staff were so kind and professional. Food was mid, not terrible just didn't leave satisfied. Left stuffed but food was slightly cold when served. We ordered the strip steak, shrimp enchiladas, the corn, and the toasted cheese. Also noticed gnats flying around which grossed me out. Drinks were okay, I ordered a polanco margarita which tasted like an artificial very sweet watermelon jolly rancher, the whiskey sour was good, and my husband loved the smoked old fashioned. We also stopped at polanco club downstairs which had live Latin music.

Such an aesthetic. This place left my jaw on the floor. When entering you are greeted with a grand stairway that takes you to the second floor. Seated in an area that eluded ambiance our server greeted us immediately with water options. We took it upon ourselves to order appetizers that left our mouths watering for more. Our drinks also did not miss the mark. Once our food arrived the first bite led into a happy dance followed by birthday shots complimentary of the restaurant. After paying our bill we went to the restroom where the stalls are individual with shared sinks that are unisex. This place is totally a vibe. 10/10 cant wait to return !

The food here is mediocre and bland. The customer service was good, I can't complain about that.

Polanco Margarita. It's watermelon and the only drink that comes with this presentation. Very good

I've been to Mexico City multiple times and this place definitely brought the great food and experience to ft worth. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The vibes were really cool for a nice fancy date night. The drinks were really good and some come with a cool presentation. The food was really good! I'd def recommend trying this place at least once for a fine dining experience! 2 meals. 2 additional sides. One appetizer. 3 cocktails. 1 bottle sparkling water. One dessert. Total was 230$ before tip. We would come back for another special occasion!

As today is Cinco de Mayo a Margarita was in order and the house pour was lovely. We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

I had the chicken fajita bowl, and it was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. The margaritas were definitely tempting but I behaved and stuck with water... next time for sure. But we always hear people talk about how great Joe T's is so we thought maybe we just an isolated bad experience 15 years ago. But this time, it was even worse. Maybe people don't speak unfavorably out of fear of being shamed for not praising this "institution"? We arrived on a Wednesday at 5:30 so fortunately our unpleasant experience was not further worsened with a wait. The patio is still very beautiful and umbrellas were positioned to provide ample shade. But the fly situation was very annoying and could probably be helped with the spinning devices on tables or fans spread throughout the patios. The beauty of the patio doesn't compensate enough to endure the flies. The service started out good with waters, chips/salsa brought instantly. But within 15 minutes the service rapidly declined as more customers were seated. It was very tedious to the point of annoying to get refills on our drinks. Literally within 2-3 minutes of ordering we asked our waitress to switch one of the fajita orders from chicken to beef. She initially said "oh I'm sorry but I JUST put the order in". We looked puzzled and said "ok then it shouldn't be a problem changing it?" She went on to explain that she would add the beef to our table and just switch the chicken order to another table next to us who ordered chicken that she had not put in yet. All of that sounded very bizarre but the food was correct when it was delivered our table. At the time the plates were brought we requested a side of sour cream but it didn't come. After 5-10 minutes we spotted our server and requested it from her. But we still never got the sour cream. As I was paying the tab my daughter noticed that we were charged for an extra chicken fajita. So even though the server got the beef fajita added right after we ordered, she didn't take the chicken off the bill. She adjusted it once we pointed out the error. The food was the biggest disappointment out of all of it. I will always give grace to sub par service or atmosphere if the food is great. I say this with the utmost sincerity, I've had more flavorful beef and chicken at Chipotle. The chicken was so dry and served in big chunks which made it even tougher to chew. I seriously could not detect a hint of any seasoning, not even salt. It was very hot but not like the traditional sizzling fajita hot, more like it had been sitting in a heating pan or under heat lamps. For way too long. The beef was a tad bit easier to chew than the chicken but just as bland. The queso that we ordered tasted like canned cheese sauce watered down with chicken or vegetable broth and a tablespoon of pico added. The portion sizes of the entrees, the tortillas, the pico, the guacamole were all very generous. It's just a shame that it doesn't taste good.

You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
