My husband and I tried Charleston's for the first time back in October 2025 and it has become a place we visit frequently now. Every couple of months, planned or impromptu, we dine in or get takeout from here. The food is consistently full of flavor, the customer service is great and I love the atmosphere; always a mixed crowd just out for a good time. Went to Charleston's on a Wednesday night and sat out on the patio. honestly a great choice for a low-key evening. It's a really comfortable setup, nice and relaxed without being too busy or too quiet. Food was solid as always. It's one of those places where you kind of know what you're going to get, in a good way. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and just easy to enjoy. Service was good too attentive but not over the top, which fit the vibe of the night. The place was busy, but we didn't have to wait long--about 10 minutes. We started the night with a blackberry mule and chips and queso, which were a nice way to kick things off. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken fried steak. The meat was a bit tough, but the gravy was very tasty and helped make up for it. The mashed potatoes were satisfying, and the fried okra was enjoyable as well. My husband also ordered the chicken fried steak, and the coleslaw on the side stood out as fresh and flavorful. Always a lovely experience when we come out to Ft Worth. I'm sure they have other things on the menu but I always get the chicken with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. It is great to see this place consistent and busy. While we were eating I remarked, "THIS is what all restaurants should be like. Good food, great service, reasonable prices." Seats are plush and comfortable. Lighting is subdued but you don't need to pull out your iPhone flashlight to read the menu. We had plenty to take home and had dinner the next night. We swapped entrees. My wife's ribs were fall off the bone tender. read more

We selected Charleston's as a place to try for dinner that would be new to us. We were a party of 5 adults and 2 children on a Saturday night arriving around 6:45. We had about a 30 minute wait for a table which wasn't bad on a very busy night. We were fortunate to have a pleasant, friendly server. All of the staff we interacted with were providing excellent service. The dining room is really pretty. At our table we pretty much went to the Specialties portion of the menu. We had meatloaf, grilled pork chops, Parmesan chicken, chicken piccata and ribs. Everything was superb. The sweet tea was delicious, as it should be in a restaurant named Charleston. For dessert my sister had the carrot cake and she said it was wonderful. Food and service were top notch and we look forward to dining here again. read more

Back in this place once again! I promise this place is a staple in Fort Worth. I'll never get tired of dining here! I met a few friends for lunch and we were greeted by the cutest server, Micaela. I'm sure she's new because I'd never seen her before. She was vibrant and engaged with us wonderfully. We placed our drink order and a spinach artichoke dip to share. If you haven't tried this it's a must and one of the best around town! Today I decided to try something different as I feel like I've enjoyed the entire menu. I went with the blackened redfish tacos. It came paired with cilantro rice and black beans. Man...what a treat! It was very filling and tasty. The mixture of garlic aioli and coleslaw with the redfish was so pleasing to my palate! A slight crunch yet soft and tender. It was so good y'all. It came with two tacos but I could barely finish one. I saved the other for later and it kept well and was just as good hours later. I'm sure I'll try this dish again. No dessert on this visit since I'm attempting to eat within my macros but please be advised the key lime pie is top notch! Or the bread pudding or pineapple upside down cake. Just depends on the day of the week as to what they have. They always have key lime pie fyi. Get yourself here fast! It's never a bad visit. This is a great casual dinner/lunch place for any occasion. We get something different just about every time we come here. They have amazing salads, a great chicken club sandwich, and the prime rib is hands down the best thing you can get when they have it (but they don't always). They have a great selection of cocktails/martinis & I love how many ice crystals they leave in the drinks. There is plenty of parking in front and around the building. The establishment is nice and the waiters are attentive. The restaurant can be loud at times when it's busy. My fiancé was a little thrown off by the waiter who asked for my ID & not his... but that's the only complaint lol. read more

Charleston's has been one of our favorite food establishments for a long, long time. The food was exceptional, as usual. My Volcano Shrimp was a great & tasty appetizer & enough for the whole table to sample. My Parmesan Chicken was tender & excellent, as usual. Everyone else was likewise pleased with their entrees. But the highlight of our dinner was our server, William. He was very pleasant & prompt in his service & seemed to anticipate our every need. Wow, it was really busy for lunch on a Friday. Service was really good, the servers were very nice and attentive. Ambiance is nice, perfect for business lunches or a nice date night, depending on the time of day. The food was really good. I really enjoyed the chicken fried chicken with the glazed carrots and the loaded smashed potatoes were also very good. The chips and queso were delicious, and had a scoop of guacamole in it, and the salsa was good as well. I can't find any bad things to say about my time here! I'll definitely be back! read more

Stopped by for a second visit and this time we made it in time for their happy hour. The mojito and gin crisp martini were smooth and well balanced! Dynamite shrimp was good. For the entrees we had the kale and quinoa salad and the hand cut filet. The salad was tasty and was very flavorful! Pleasantly surprised!! The filet was ok. Today was the first time I've ever had poor service from Charleston. We were seated ordered our drinks and placed an order for appetizers and our entrees at the same time. We received only our drinks. We had our 2 year old granddaughter with us and she kept asking for food, after 45 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. Mind you we didn't see our waiter until we were leaving he apologized but it was not sincere. Spoke with the manager he apologized also not sincere. I have lived in the Fort Worth area for many years, but this is my first time to eat at the Charleston's. It won't be my last! Walking in, you are immediately greeted by a friendly staff. We were seated right away. The atmosphere is classy and calm, perfect for an evening meal with friends or for business. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. ALL the service and staff for the whole evening was spot on 100% of the time. I was very impressed. We had the cheese queso appetizer. It was so good and had just the right kick. For entrees we ordered the Chicken Piccata, Chicken Tenders Platter, Parmesan Crusted Chicken, and Chicken Fried Steak. The Chicken Fried Steak is not on the menu, so you have to ask for it. Everything was great, including the sides. We also topped everything off by sharing Key Lime Pie and Carrot Cake, the perfect way to end a meal. Highly recommended this place and I think it will be one of my regular go to places. read more

Had a very good experience on a Friday night for a table of 4. We got there at 5pm to be the leaders of the Friday night crowd and were quickly seated. Large parking lot with easy parking. Big place, dimly lit, with an elevated casual vibe. Can go in jeans or dressed up for a date night and fit right in. To note, Social Hour (3-6p) specials are only available in the bar. I enjoyed an ELEVATED MARGARITA ($15) and my husband said his OLD FASHIONED with Woodford was one of the best he's had. For appetizers we enjoyed the SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP and QUESO. Both come with tortilla chips and a cup of mild but flavorful picante sauce on the side. The spinach dip also came with a cup of sour cream - not quite sure what that's about. Would be more understandable for it to come with the queso for those who find it a tad spicy. For our meals we enjoyed the PARMESAN CRUSTED CHICKEN, CHEESEBURGER & FRIES, & GRILLED CHICKEN AVOCADO CLUB without the honey mustard. My husband wished the blackening seasoning was a little heavier and the sandwich was a little lighter on the sprouts but that was only opportunity for improvement to his preference. We got a piece of CARROT CAKE & GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE to go and enjoy later. They are large pieces and were tasty. We have half our meals and dessert leftover for another meal. Over the past year, Charleston's has slowly become our go-to family dinner spot. Despite the fact that the restaurant and parking lot always seem to be full, we almost never have a long wait here. Charleston's has a great menu - large enough to provide some diversity, but they also don't overdo it (their soup and salad is my go-to). Their kids menu is also stellar - our son always asks to come, hence why it has not become the family dinner spot (finding a menu the kids like is half the battle). What you'll get at Charleston's are some great menu options revolving around mostly "American" fare as well as stellar service. Everything is on point here, we've never had a disappointing outing, be it with the food or service. They have some solid cocktails too. So if you are looking for a cozy, professional, and efficient place for dinner, try Charleston's out. Looking back now, I'm amazed at how long it took me to really try out (and now enjoy) this place. read more
