Fun, iconic, rustic, casual but special, with generational legacy. This Stockyards Station location is housed in the historic sheep barns, which is not baaad.

Ordered the Texas Twosome which was a great deal! We got the potato skins as our appetizer to share and then I had the fillet with broccoli and cauliflower, and a house salad. The raspberry balsamic on the salad was to die for! The fillet, medium-rare, was perfectly tender but with nice crispy edges. It was so delicious I gobbled down my food before I could really take any photos. Our waitress was amazing! The best of the best. I told her about a slight food allergy and she went above and beyond to make sure the food I ordered was okay for me to eat. She even brought out a bit of each salad dressing option that was okay for my allergy, since my first option wasn't! She was so nice and helpful with explaining the menu too. Shout out to Christiana A. for being amazing!

Steak? Outstanding ...:seasoning was perfect and the cook was spot on ---melt in your mouth meat! I had the steak salad and my partner has the burger which he raved about! Service? A little on the weak side. It wasn't busy yet you'd think it was . Must mention that the gals out front taking reservations were half asleep and admittedly so ---not a good branding . Management might want to look at that! Ambiance? Well it is definitely Texan ! Clean and comfy and unique ! I'd come back for sure .

We have come Riscky's for at least 25 years and have always enjoyed their Brisket sandwiches. Today I picked up the brown bag sandwiches (4 for $5) and was sadly disappointed. The brisket was mushy and lacked flavor. The brown bag sandwiches are not piled high, never have been, but these seemed way less than what we recall. We usually just eat their sandwiches with adding onion only-- no extra BBQ sauce or pickles-- always felt they were best plain, as is. The meat was lacking in flavor so I added BBQ sauce, which also seems to have changed. It was bland but sweet and tasted old. Mt daughter asked for fries. My bad, I assumed a small ($4) would feed 2 and the family ($7) would feed 4. Not even close-- just at a single serving, nothing more. Not really sure what happened or why but sadly we won't return.

Didn't end up getting to eat here but I did want to share some pictures from my visit. Really nifty place inside and located at the Fort Worth Stockyards! Really awesome environment with super friendly staff.

As first timers to the Stockyards, we felt he "had to" eat here. We had about a 45 minute wait for our group of 9. It was a busy Saturday, so we expected a wait. Our server Shiann (I think?) was friendly and efficient. I had the Buffalo sirloin and it was cooked as requested. It wasn't anything fancy or special in terms of seasonings or presentation.

This spot is pure nostalgia for me. A girl never forgets drinking her first beer with dear ol dad. I stop in each time I visit cowtown to enjoy a cold beer and New York strip. I've always been pleased with the Crawfish Mac & Cheese. My last visit on Friday night was as good as ever, with Greg and the gang taking great care of me at the bar. I started my beer selection with the tried and true... Shiner Bock and then finished up the meal with the local Rahr Blonde. I'll be back soon once again for "the usual". Thanks for being consistently awesome, Riscky's!!

Great service... let's start off with our waitress, Brandee was amazing and very attentive to our table! Recommended I gave the buffalo sirloin a try which I caved and ordered it. Good flavor but a little tougher than your average steak. The drinks were good as well. We had also ordered the bacon jalapeño shrimp to share as an appetizer, those were gone within minutes! The atmosphere was a 10/10. We waited an hour to be seated but it was such a smooth process... got on the waitlist, walked the stockyards for a little while but it was worth the wait! Highly recommend giving it a try. Definitely get on the waitlist if you're planning to go for dinner on the weekend.

T Bone and sweet potato fries.

The host was very nice. He greeted us immediately and we were seated fairly quickly. Javier was our server and he was great! We both ordered the T-Bone and they were both under cooked. We also tried the broccoli bites and they were a solid 5. Overall I would rather go to Texas Roadhouse for steaks. They are way better. Service was a solid 9 but the food was a 5.

Looking for a delicious steak dinner this is the place. After watching the cattle walk on exchange Ave we headed down the street and ran into Riscky's. We were seated immediately by a very sweet person. The waiter was there in minutes taking our drink order. We ended up ordering a dinner for two $99.00. It came with an appetizer we ordered potatoes skins. Which came out cheesy and hot. Also included were two fresh salads. The main meal was a 14 oz cowboy steak with mash potatoes the other meal was a filet nice size and cut like butter. The Ambiance was totally western and had many displays of artifacts. Felt like you were in someone's home in Texas.

Manger and server were very nice. Staff was very personal and sweet The food here on the other hand is terrible. The catfish was friend in old oil, the sirloins ( adult and kid) were under cooked and extremely tuff. I would definitely try somewhere else before here. Also the bathrooms were disgustingly overused and no maintenance.

Decided to give it a try! Waitress was great! Food was average. Fries and baked potato were for sure old. Steak was good a bit overcooked and pricey for this kind of place. The biggest turn off was one hostess plying with and braiding another employees hair right at the hostess stand.

The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

However, I find the food to be quite a let down, not worth the price. I had the sourdough and it was good. I had the steak and fries for the main course with the upgrade cuts of steak. The fries were well seasoned however not all was good evenly and some over cooked and some undercooked. The steak was okay, the sears were bad and so was the overall flavor. It has that fantastic Fort Worth western vibe I was looking for--perfect for a professional get-together without the stiff shirt-and-tie atmosphere. The service and drinks were spot on. Cocktails hit the table fast and were well-made. For starters, we ordered the onion rings, which were easily the biggest I've ever seen and perfectly seasoned. The elk sausages over a polenta base were also delicious and a great start to the meal. When it came to the mains, I wanted something a little different than a standard sirloin. The server recommended the skirt steak topped with a cheese enchilada. I'm normally not a huge fan of cheese enchiladas, but this one changed my mind--it was authentic and awesome. The western beans served on the side were outstanding too. We finished the night with a great red wine and a solid apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, the kitchen ran into some major consistency issues with the main course. Three people in our party of eight had to send their steaks back because they weren't cooked to the requested temperature--and one gentleman had to send his back more than once. To their credit, the front-of-house team handled it professionally; the server, manager, and even the chef came out to the table to apologize. While the service recovery was there, it definitely put a damper on the evening and felt like a strange occurrence for a Texas steakhouse of this caliber.
