    Pecan Granola Waffle

We loved it! We came here for the first time early on a Monday morning. Lots of open seating. We were seated, with menus, in a booth and a server was out with waters right away. They have a lot of breakfast options so it was hard to decide at first. Our server, Anthony B was great. He was well versed in the menu, restaurant operations and his knowledge helped us decide on our breakfast choices. The two of us shared: - Coffees - Make it a Combo: Granola Waffle with Pecans, 2 Soft Scrambled Eggs and 4 Strips Crispy Fried Bacon Make it a Combo: Blueberry Pancake with Blueberry Glaze, 2 Over-Medium Eggs and 4 Sausage Links - Side of Home Fries The food was really good. Eggs were cooked perfectly. The sausage links were very good. Tasty and tender. Better than the bacon actually. The bacon was thin-ish. Tasted fine but would have been better if they used thick bacon. The waffle was large and was decent. The pancake - wow! This was the star for sure. It was huge, hot, tender and full of blueberries. We'd come back here for the food and for Anthony's level of service if we can get him.

This was a cute little place in trinity commons with patio seating and indoor seating designed to feel like a patio. The staff were lovely but the line was quite long an hour before closing on a Sunday afternoon so we had about a five minute wait and then five minutes more because we didn't see the text and no one called our name. We got a wrap and a scramble bowl that were both incredibly delicious and filling and mimosas and the blackberry sangria. We got two entrees and five drinks for $70. The drinks weren't very strong but they were incredibly tasty.

This place is perfect for breakfast or brunch! I've had great service and I really like that. They have a healthy options as part of the menu. They definitely just have a classic twist on breakfast, and they also have mimosas as well!

The staff is friendly, and the food is served promptly. My go-to breakfast dishes are the Florida pancakes, French toast with fresh fruit, and the stuffed French toast with Nutella. I haven't tried the lunch menu yet, but on my next visit I may order the Carolina chicken salad. Note: I've heard service can be hit or miss at this location. I've never been on a weekend and probably won't in the future.

There was a bit of a wait to be seated for brunch. But, our server was nice, the food was good, and the atmosphere wasn't overly loud. Worth a try!

Came alone on a Saturday early afternoon and was seated without a wait. When I first stepped foot inside I would say that the appearance of the restaurant is more of that of a chain breakfast diner. The service was exceptionally friendly and good. The food was the selling point for me. It was so good. The apple cinnamon pancakes were so delicious so flavorful and i could Say the same for the home fries and scrambled eggs. The portion size was very filling. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely come back.

Staff was friendly. Plenty of seating. Plenty of parking. Service was fast. The omelet was great. The ham and onion were diced really small. I liked that. Plenty of cheese. The home fries were seasoned. The cinnamon roll pancakes are a limited time item. They were smaller pancakes but we still had leftovers. The sausage links were a little spicy but good. Wish they weren't $5.79 fir a side order but that's just how it is nowadays. Overall a great experience.

Decided to try this place out this morning. Since I'm an early riser I find myself looking for breakfast spots often. This place was good with one hiccup. Please add an avocado toast to the menu. Service from our waitress was fantastic. The coffee was very good here which is a big hit in my book. Got the waffle with bacon and a 3 egg breakfast combo. Waffle had great flavor and the bacon was cooked perfectly. My 3 egg combo had very flavor home fries and the sausage links were good. The scrambled eggs were VERY under seasoned. The cook is playing a dangerous game cooking scrambled eggs on a flat top for efficiency. If he gets busy he can overcook the eggs easily. However a little salt mid way of cooking the eggs won't kill anyone. Overall this place really seems to shine on Waffles, Pancakes and French Toast. The menu really pushes it too. Will definitely try this place again though.

Little lunch breakfast/ Brunch spot we had to try. Great service from our waitress and the ladies at the front and really nice inside. The Banana Pecan Caramel French toast was a hit with my girl. My egg sandwich was good but just a sandwich. The home fries (potatoes) were wonderful. We may come back but it's a little pricey for not being fabulous.

I recently had breakfast at Keke's. I was craving some good French toast and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious. The service was great, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. And the ambiance? Just perfect for a quiet breakfast and a welcoming vibe. The stuff french toast with nutella was amazing added the eggs and ham! Also tried the omelette it has too many onions tho. Fresh berries french toast was on point. I can't wait to go back to try something else

Our server was really nice and helpful. The food tasted good and was fresh. They do not have a lot of table seating with chairs. It is mostly booths in the restaurant. Coffee is $4.00.

We vote "yes" to Ken's Breakfast Cafe! Menu is breakfast/brunch and, then after 10:30am, lunch as well. Hostess quickly seats you. Servers are quick, give great recommendations, and return just when you need them. Food arrived in just the right amount to confirm that everything is handmade! Coffee is awesome! TIP: Try the omelets (Greek or Southwest but ask for light jalapeño). Pancakes and waffles are enormous and light/fluffy. Decor is bright and breakfast themed. Plenty of tables inside, and a few outside with umbrellas. Parking in front is shared with the other stores. Location is easily accessible via Hulen or Bellaire Dr S. Come visit!

I'm not sure if they just changed suppliers or not but things have gotten smaller / worse quality while the price has gone up for what arguably is standard breakfast fare. Case in point: the Chicken or Egg Sandwich. Used to be my go to, but after having it recently again after not coming for quite some time it was a disappointment. The chicken cutlet used was thin compared to the thick fried version it had before, everything was a bit beige, and a rather small serving of hash browns accompanied it. I had a standard black coffee alongside it which tasted a bit watered down and my partner has commented that the speciality coffees are not as good as they used to be. Other new additions to the menu aren't exactly what you would expect, for example the Monte Cristo is more a deconstructed version of the Bennigan's classic but it's not obvious unless your waiter tells you. The price is typical of downtown but the food doesn't rise to the occasion and the value proposition for me isn't enough to come back unless something changes. Thats not to say the food is all bad, but seeing what it was prior to their menu change, it's just uninspiring for the price. The service however has remained top tier and every time I have gone I've had fantastic service regardless of if it's a Sunday morning with a hour long wait or a quiet weekday lunch.

What a great choice for breakfast. The menu was filled with choices for everyone. Will definitely have to come back to try more. I ordered the cinnamon roll french toast which was a whole roll sliced up and cooked as french toast. Have never seen that anywhere else. The only downside was a strange smell like old mop water that permeated the entrance and the seats near it. We had to ask to move seats. The table we were then moved to was crammed against the front wall crooked for some reason. Otherwise, the food was on point and delicious.

While it was a lovely experience in a stunning environment, it fell a bit short of the high bar you'd expect for a $95/pp tea service. The Good: First and foremost, the environment is absolutely beautiful. The Bowie House, Bricks & Horses restaurant, and the Mulberry Room itself are gorgeously decorated with a sophisticated Texas Western theme. The atmosphere in the Mulberry library is intimate and visually striking. Additionally, the service was excellent from start to finish, being both attentive and professional. The food portions are quite generous, with both the savories and sweets served together on a single tower. The sweets were the highlight of the food, as they were very delicious and surprisingly large. We also really enjoyed the tea selections themselves, particularly the Earl Grey and the plum rooibos. The Letdowns: Unfortunately, a few details missed the mark, especially considering the premium price point: - The "Champagne": The experience is advertised as including a glass of Champagne, but we were actually served Prosecco. At nearly $100 a person, substituting Prosecco for real Champagne or Cremant is a major disappointment. - The Tea Service: Instead of receiving a teapot to enjoy throughout the afternoon, the tea is steeped directly in the cup. This limits you to a single cup per tea variety, though to be fair, I didn't ask if refills were an option. - Food Refinement: While the portions were large and the savories were tasty, they lacked the elegance of a traditional tea. Every savory option was open-faced and heavily blanketed in microgreens and edible flowers, which felt a bit unrefined. - Comfort & Conversation: The Mulberry library features low couches, deep chairs, and coffee tables. While this setup would be absolutely perfect for relaxing with a glass of whiskey, it makes leaning over to eat finger foods highly uncomfortable. Furthermore, the seating layout isn't ideal for holding a natural conversation with the people in your party. Overall: It is a nice experience in a breathtaking Fort Worth hotel, but I'm not sure I would return. If the price point were lower, the execution would make more sense. However, given the other highly refined afternoon tea options available across DFW for less money, this one doesn't quite live up to its price tag.

So I was charged for it and didn't eat it regardless that it was improperly cooked. Then they added gratuity for the food I didn't eat and the over charged drink. My daughter got a cinnamon roll and it tasted like the pan they didn't clean well enough when cooking it. I mentioned it. Nothing done. Don't expect this place to be a nice place. They auction the food to tables since they don't know what food goes to who. It's the little things like You ask for something like salt and pepper and they deliver it to the end of the table to pass it down rather walk two feet and hand it to you. Want a southern Louisiana breakfast in Fort Worth? Check out Fixe Southern House in ClearFork…read more Sunday brunch was so nice. Went for the biscuits, but our very wise waitress, Adriana, warned us that the biscuits were made with lard. Well that knocked out a bunch or breakfast options. She was so sweet and actually went to the kitchen and marked the menu pointing out lard-free menu choices. On the menu. Using black ink dots. Above and beyond. So we regrouped our breakfast plans and went mainly vegetarian. The Herbivore was absolutely delicious! Antebellum cheese grits topped with garlicky kale, romanesco and a soft boiled egg. We added a second egg. Split with my hubby. So good!! My sister-in-law had the brioche French toast. French toast topped with honey better, fresh berries and pecan granola. Served with maple syrup. Amazing! Added the duck fat breakfast potatoes. Who knew that the flavor would be so enhanced with the onions, peppers and duck fat. Get this side! Not a coffee drinker, but my hubby really enjoyed the coffee that is sourced from Cusco, Peru. Adriana made sure that the cups were always full and hot. Thank you for the VIP service at Fixe Southern House. Resident discount applied. Born from Opelousas, Louisiana, breakfast served with a huge helping of southern hospitality. We started with the biscuits and cinnamon roll. I would recommend both. The biscuits came with a jam, honey and whipped butter. The cinnamon roll, which may look a bit underwhelming had a such a great crispy texture on the outside while still being fluffy on the inside. The icing wasn't too sweet and complimented the roll nicely. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy. The Fixe breakfast was great and the maple sausage was perfect. Our waitress was Adriana, she was great and very helpful. Overall we would definitely come back and look forward to trying dinner one night.

However the bathroom sinks may just be an elaborate prank pulled on every guest of this hotel. There are many photos already on here, but the pictures don't do it justice. The sink is approximately 7" x 12", and has a mirror jutting out over a portion of it, leaving you with roughly 4-5" of functional sink space. This will be the smallest sink you've ever used in your life (and I've spent lots of time in NYC and Chicago, where I've used some very small sinks). Need to wash your hands? You're getting water on your feet. Shave? Better wear a bathing suit. Wash your face? A wetsuit is recommended. Accidentally turn the water on too high when doing any of the above? Bet you didn't know you were about to take a full shower! I'm not sure the building codes in Dallas, but apparently you can get away with installing dollhouse fixtures here. Choose another property just simply so you don't have to deal with the hassle.

Overall the room was very nice.. I was surprised by the complete cement room but shockingly it was perfect, the bed is comfortable however the pillows are very big. My neck does not do well with thick pillows and these were very thick. The bar was mediocre and the bar tender struggled to keep up with customers and wasn't very friendly. Overall it was a good hotel and a fun experience.
