    Lobster roll and truffle fries
    Nicole T.

I've been to Hudson House a couple of times now, and both visits have been solid. This is a popular restaurant in Fort Worth, so I definitely suggest making a reservation, especially on the weekends. The parking situation can get a little dicey, but I have lucked up both times. As for the staff and service, they are just ok. Not a standout experience, but not necessarily bad either. The food is good, and I see why the lobster rolls are one of their most popular items. The restaurant itself is very clean and a great spot for a brunch date or happy hour. If you're looking for a solid place to grab a meal with friends or family, Hudson House is a good place to start.

Per usual the oysters and burger were great. Tried a new app, the guac and ranch seasoned chips. Weren't bad, probably wouldn't order again. Also did a sushi roll, and I'd try another next time. Peter was our downstairs bartender and we thoroughly enjoyed him. Attentive, funny and ran the bar area very well as it picked up a bit. I also noticed his interactions with other staff were very nice and respectful. Of course I'll be back!

We have been to the Addison location a few times but this was our first visit to the Fort Worth one and the level of consistency was impressive. Fantastic food, zero complaints. Crazy good popcorn chicken and the house salad was as delicious as ever. Lobster roll was amazing, no surprise. And I tried something new this time - lobster benedict from the brunch menu and wooooow. 10/10. Excellent warm and friendly service. The loveliest brightest cheeriest environment. And totally fair prices on top of all that. I love Hudson House. Highly recommend.

I've been a couple of times now. Each time the food and service are amazing. The sushi rolls are fresh and unique. I'd recommend any of the salads. The cheeseburger is also delicious. My husband said the chicken parm was good too. They have a great wine and cocktail menu with reasonable prices and a nice HH at the bar too.

I've heard about this place for awhile now.. finally decided to come check it out today. We were lucky enough to find a place at the bar. At first impression I was surprised to find such a limited menu. We ordered the spicy popcorn chicken as a starter and the French chicken to share. I actually wasn't a fan of the French chicken even though people boasted about it here on yelp. I ended up ordering the Rock Shrimp appetizer for myself, good food, loved the salads on both dishes but the juices and sauces 100% overpower in my opinion. The drinks were the best part of this trip. And the fries lol

Cannot beat a Hudson House happy hour! Drinks are great and so is the food. I've been here on two separate occasions, the first just for a solo dinner and ordered the lobster role, which was okay would rate it about 3.8/5 as it felt like a take on a chicken salad sandwich in lobster form. The second time I came it was during HH with friends and ordered the cheeseburger and truffle fries which definitely hit the spot. The real highlight would honestly be the drinks! They definitely didn't disappoint--especially the bellini! This place is usually very busy and parking can be a challenge fyi. I did note that Management/service could do better to come off a bit more friendly, as sometimes it felt they looked unhappy to be here/could have given more notice than 10 mins that our 90min table time was up...

Hudson House Fort Worth did not disappoint. The service was amazing, the ambiance was perfect, and every single thing we had was great. The lobster roll was incredible, the chocolate pie was the perfect ending, and their martinis are absolutely bomb. Definitely one of my new favorite spots.

The food is consistently great. I recommend all of the sushi rolls although overpriced. The burger is mediocre but we love the fries. The salmon, lobster roll, steak, salads are always amazing. Highly recommend the fish tacos too! The service has also been great despite the busy-ness. Happy hour is a shit show and wait times can be long. The ambiance is great but not recommended if you're looking for a quiet intimate spot, the noise tends to echo. Overall Love this place.

Our waiter JT was very good and attentive! We reserved the sun room, and it was so beautiful and private. Highly recommend for birthdays or special occasions.

First time visiting walked in and was seated immediately. Myself and coworkers went for lunch. I had the lobster Mac n cheese. It was okay. Our server was very knowledgeable of the wine selection and gave great recommendations to try.

I really wanted to LOVE this place -First Parking is terrible. -Lemon Drop is Great -Hostess Area Needs Help! More Training - Truffle Fries were cold - Lobster Roll lacked lobster (i needed just a little more) -Waitress was great - Silk Pie was great - While seated on the patio I noticed the manager making his way around greeting customers for the majority time we were there. (We sat in the 1st table as you come out of the door) Noticed that he never touched our table. Not even greeted. Things like this make you say hmmm. Be mindful of this if you are of a certain color or race. Never experienced this before.

Fantastic choice! The menu is very "urban hipster" vibes. Plenty of burgers, lots of fun appetizers, charcuterie, one of my friends has some dietary restrictions and they were easily able to accommodate her needs which made us all very happy. This spot has a great bar in the front, and a smaller bar in the rear of the place. Outdoor seating as well as covered seating. Plenty of shade as well which will serve their patrons nicely in the coming Texas summer months. This is also a dog friendly dining spot, plenty of people were there with some amazing canine companions (always ask before you pet a strangers pup, it's just polite and courteous. Almost no one says No!). Assuming you don't have a dog allergy, this will hopefully be a feature. There is a relatively new apartment complex across the street and I get the feeling a lot of the people stopping in were regulars who bring in their dogs during walkies and grab a bite before heading back home, but that is just pure conjecture on my part. Either way, it was a fun inviting atmosphere. The music was nice, not too loud for my old man ears to enjoy but still present enough to be part of the evening without being intrusive. Staff was very nice, helpful, friendly, etc. Everything one would expect from a fine Texas eatery. Lots of spicier options on the menu if you're into that, but by no means anything overpowering. My guess is the owner has stock in some jalapeno growers farm somewhere and the food is all the better for it! If you're in the area already or if you're thinking of branching out for a nice new burger spot, this place is great and I will be returning. I live nearby so it'll likely become part of the regular rotation for us in the coming months. We are spoiled for choice in this area when it comes to good burgers being close to Grumps, close to Kincaid's, and close to Tommy's up on Camp Bowie. But this place competes on good burgers and if you're looking for a fun hangout atmosphere, you'd be hard pressed to find better. Easily recommended! Give them a try, I don't think you'll regret it! Cheers!

I called a girlfriend and told her I'd found a new spot: wine, charcuterie boards, and live music. Sounded like a perfect evening. When we arrived, a young employee did her best to find the hostess and get us seated. After a few minutes, she honestly seemed more flustered than we were, she apologized and offered to seat us herself. We got settled, I ordered a margarita, and then I noticed a large dog roaming around. No leash, no owner in sight. (Later found out the owner owns the bar, the regulars are very familiar with the dog) I looked down at the menu, then looked back up, and the dog was literally face-to-face with me. We got up to leave immediately. A dog-friendly patio? Sure. That's completely fine. But allowing a dog to freely roam throughout both the outdoor patio and the covered upstairs area is baffling to me. (My last visit a dog was on the table, I assumed the young staff just didn't know how to approach the situation, but tonight shows this is how Hideaway operates day in and day out) When I explained my concern to the waitress, she said she understood and asked me to close out my tab for the one margarita I had just ordered and hadn't touched. No ma'am. I'd been there less than ten minutes, and for me, this crossed a line. Clearly, some guests enjoyed it. I saw people petting the dog and calling it over. Different preferences, and that's their choice. But mine is different. I won't be back, and if I recommend this place to anyone, it will come with a warning: dogs aren't just allowed here- they appear to have free rein of the space, whether that's on tabletops, near your food, or directly in your personal space, whether you want that interaction or not.

The burger was definitely good. It's messy since there are some more toppings prone to falling out. I will say that in terms of taste, it was a bit too sweet for my preference. I think it was the combination of carmelized onions and bacon jam that made it too much for me that it overwhelmed the savoriness that I'd prefer to be the main flavor with the burger. This time I didn't dine in personally but I will say that the place looks like it has a nice vibe to it, especially outside. We poke our heads in (accidentally going through the exit door. the front door is well camouflaged) and just found a wonderful very chilled out bar. Haven't been to a speakeasy in a long time. It was dark lighting with ambient black lights and string lights to keep it dim but you wont struggle to see through. Music was not super loud and the chairs were incredibly comfortable and the whole place was laid out to just have drinks and lounge while talking with friends. No food, which is fine. You have plenty of options on the same block for that. This place is just for drinks and conversation. The seasonal menu was awesome. It iss a bar so they of course can make anything you request if you don't want a specialty cocktail. I got my favorite, a moscow mule but they had a brazilian mule on the specialty menu. I never had that before and ordered it on the spot. It was grapefruit vodka with lime, lots of fine pellett nugget ice (the really good kind) with ginger beer and condensed milk. My god it was great, they told me how they made it because i never saw milk added to this before. It was a delicious limeade that almost was slushy like, creamy and with tangy vodka. Plus they actually served it in a proper copper mug. Best mixed drink ive had period and a cool twist on my favorite standard moscow mule. The place is now going to become a frequent haunt for us. Its very laid back, relaxed, with fantastic ambiance. It doesn't get jammed packed and is not meant to get wild in. We went there around 7pm on a friday night with about 8 or so others already there with their drinks. It did pick up later with 15-20 people in there but still spacious and comfortable. It genuinely was just a nice bar to have drinks and conversations with friends. Nice music that isn't too loud so you can talk with normal voice levels. The bartenders we had were super nice and charismatic. The drinks were not expensive, a respectable 13 bucks for my mule. If you have a bill over 40 dollars they automatically add 20% gratuity to it so keep that in mind when you are tipping. And after 8pm everything had 20% gratuity added to the bill. But the service is so damn good that you will probably still want to tip on top of that anyways. I loved it so much i actually made a yelp account just to post a review. TLDR super cool speakeasy type joint, cool aesthetics and laundry theme. Not loud, good for drinks and chit chat, cool well crafted specialty cocktails that don't break the bank. Good bartenders. Good times. Cozy seats that encourage you to hang out and talk even with folks you haven't met before and dim without being dark lighting. Clean bathroom too and quick charismatic service. Hit this place up for sure even just for the novelty of it. It was a wonderful surprise bar for a date night. Pro tip for this area in general. all paid parking, some place validates some do not, i am unsure if they do here but there is paid parking right out front and also a paid lot literally across the street. But i don't even bother. About a block and a half away northeast is a big shopping complex with a target. i just park there for free and walk. its a short nice walk and doesn't cost 20 bucks.

And for the majority of that time....great staff...great service....great energy. tonight really irritated me in a way that I can firmly say, I won't be going back. Now what I'm about to say is not about ego or entitlement . I know me. I know what I do for my bar staff. My tips are generous! Unquestioned. Not because I'm a big spender but I know the struggle and hard times bartenders and wait staff go through during a shift of drunks. The first incident was standing at the bar about to order and a person from behind shouts out his order and the bartender makes it while seeing I'm standing there waiting to order. My options are to (A) be a jerk and yell "hey!! I was here first!!!" or "just take it and move on"... I did the last one. So when it's closing time and I tell the bartender, I like one more and close, then you confirm with me "Glenn you want 1 more and close?" I say "yes" and you tab me out and immediately start dealing with your other customers and not making my drink.... So I say after 5mins of being ignored " did you get my drink on that tab out?" You tell me you didn't and try to charge me for another drink.... I'm quite certain you charged me for that drink on my tab-out but just forgot and started serving your other customers forgetting about me. It's easier to just avoid the argument to not look like an ass over a drink so I left. Horny Toads....Dirty Water Saloon...even Star Light Lounge have never treated me like this. So instead of causing a scene and asking for my bill to be checked, it's easier to talk my hard earned dollars elsewhere to be appreciated. Peace.....
