The chicken sausage really stood out to me- it was fresh, well seasoned and tender. Also the grits were the perfect texture and loaded with butter. My son got his order half of mine was missing. So we waited a little bit but our food was getting cold so we decided to eat. The rest of my order arrived after I was halfway done with my meal. The eggs were extremely undercooked. It was so gross. The server apologize and took them back. I ended up finishing my main entrée. My son had already finished his meal and we were still waiting for my eggs. The eggs came out and then they were overcooked. It was disgusting. Needless to say, I did not eat them and the server didn't even remove them from the receipt so I was basically forced to pay for something I didn't even eat. Decent breakfast place. Downside is that it's always extremely hard to be seated during weekends because they are always so busy. It took our waitress forever to get to us once we were seated. I ordered a drink that came when my meal did almost 30 minutes later. Then, when I wanted a second, that wasn't an option because she came back with the check already. I also asked for no onions but there were onions. When I told the waitress about it, she said onions are mixed in with the potatoes and she had forgotten to tell me when I ordered and asked for none. I have been here for breakfast on several occasions. The food is always good, albeit a tad pricey IMO. We have had both excellent and so-so service which is the main reason that keeps it away from 5 stars for me. On busy weekends you can expect a line, although First Watch does offer a "get in line" option through Yelp which is supposed to let you get your name on their list before arriving. Not sure how or if it really works as the only time I tried it, when we got to FW there was no line. But hey, it cannot hurt to try and it's a cool thing for them to offer. My friend and I meet here once a month for meal and a visit. Service has always been great and food is always good. We always keep an eye on the front door to make sure we don't hold a table if there is a wait. Our meal this week was power wrap and Floridian French Toast. Both were delicious. It took our male server at least 15 minutes before coming to our table. He did take our orders correctly and food arrived with good timing. He checked on us as needed. He dropped off the ticket. We usually pay at the counter. Later he came to ask if we would pay by phone using the QR code. We asked if he would split our check. He brought back two checks but we discovered that they were not our food. We went to the counter to get correct checks. He tried to help us but had to get someone else to do it.
