Burleson doesn't deserve this place... I have no idea what is going on with the negative reviewers. We came Sunday for lunch and it was amazing. The server was great and super attentive. We had tons of different people keeping the table cleaned. All of the food was exactly what I wanted from a Korean BBQ place. The quantities are a little smaller on each plate than some others, but it is unlimited, so who cares. It lets you get more variety before you get full. Worth knowing, because it is an all you can eat place, if you are doing Korean BBQ and Sushi, it costs a little extra for the table because that is the only way to cover costs with this much obvious food sharing. My wife loves sushi and that is all she ate, but I wanted Korean BBQ and was happy to have a place that did both. I am so happy to not have to drive 30 minutes to get good KBBQ. read more

Immediately upon entering, my attention was caught by two distinct AI posters at the front, which was a little off-putting. The overall ambiance left a lot to be desired, with a lot of loud noise in the background. As for the food, my family ordered KBBQ. it wasn't anything too special. I will say there were some items I liked: the beef soup, and bulgogi, which is always good. However, the portions are not very generous, especially for paying over $35 per person. Furthermore, our orders were lost on multiple occasions, some even after asking the waitress for it. At the very least, our waitress was kind. This is a new spot here in Burleson so we decided to give it a try. It was all you can eat and we also did the all you can eat sushi. The inside was beautifully decorated and our server did a great job. Sushi - The Texas roll was very good. For the meats we had spicy salmon, beef bulgogi, lemon chicken, and rib fingers. It was all good but the best was the bulgogi and spicy salmon. We had fried rice and steamed with it and chose bell pepper onion and broccoli for our veggies. We probably should have came hungrier because that's about as far as we went. It was around 90 with 2 teas and 2 all you can eat meals. Well well well. Took our granddaughter this past weekend the service was horrible . We went at lunch around 1ish and our granddaughter didn't eat sushi so thought no biggie she will just eat the meat section for lunch and my husband and I had sushi and steak . We ordered our sushi and no soy sauce or wasabi and asked 3 times finally received it after we ate out sushi . Waitress said oh sorry .. we received no other sauces for steak as well and my husband even asked for some but nope never showed up and waitress again said sorry . When the bill came it was 135.00. And I said excuse me but this was suppose to be the lunch menu plus our granddaughter doesn't eat sushi . Waitress said everyone at table has to pay same amount whether they eat it or not . Wtf??? Then she said oh you ordered the butterfly shrimp . Well apparently you should have brought to our attention that was for the dinner not the lunch but no you charged us the dinner even though that was the only thing in dinner menu we ordered . If we had known we were getting charged dinner prices we would have had the dinner portions . Wtf?? We had high hopes for this place but time to move in to someplace else to eat . Adding another review because we did come back because it was so great the first time! I'm shocked at some of the bad reviews I'm reading about pricing, or seasonings on the table... All you have to do is READ or just simply ask and they will bring out WHATEVER you need. Me and my husband always ask for salt, pepper, soy sauce and extra sauce at the beginning and no one ever hesitates to get it for us!! Food was delicious once again. Oh yessssss! No more driving 30min+ for good korean bbq! No complaints no notes. The restaurant has good space with a normal 2 hour limit. Reasonably priced at $32.99. Your table has to decide bbq, sushi or both. Stick to your side of the menu if you choose that includes appetizers. The cups dishes and utensils have sleek gold look and yes it's a bit of work but it's so worth it!! All the meat/seafood/chicken were good quality. Our favorites included the beef bulgogi and the marinated short rib. I loved that their pork belly wasn't super thick cuts so they cool faster. We love korean bbq and were thrilled they didn't disappoint. We will definitely come back. read more

This place is still very new -- only open for about 2 months so far -- and the ambiance is great! Tatianna, our server, was amazing: very attentive, kind, and welcoming. For 2 people, we ordered about 10 rolls, 3 appetizers. The rice-to-filling ratio was perfect -- not overloaded with rice like many sushi places. My husband and I had been waiting months for this place to open and were thrilled when it finally did. I'd looked up the price online and we felt that $35 was fair for AYCE sushi/KBBQ. It's pretty expensive for doing all the work yourself ($33 for dinner for each adult) but it is all you can eat. Don't ask for more than you might eat because they might charge for any waste. They don't give you much instructions and the grill is hotter than it looks so flip things often so it won't stick. Don't be afraid to ask for salt and pepper. The beef bulgogi is one of the best meats. The crab rangoon and fried shrimp are really good appetizers. We didn't try the sushi but it's an additional $5 per person, or you could choose the sushi instead of the Korean BBQ. The sushi looks really good though. read more

Still working out the kinks. Pros: Sushi was good, and they had no problem customizing the order to my preference(no salmon). Ambiance and experience was fun and enjoyable by most. One couple left after saying it was just too complicated. I think they just feared something fresh and new. Entire waitstaff was helpful. Whatever you needed, the closest person would get, no problem. Seafood seemed fresh and didn't taste off like some places do. Beef bulgogi and pretty much anything with some sort of marinade was tasty... But then there were the cons. Some were quaint and understandable. I spent the first half of the meal wondering why they wouldn't give us any cooking utensils. Everything I had was cooked with my chopsticks and fork. When I asked for a knife to cut my steak I was told to just use my scissors. A blank stare named back at her..."Scissors, Do I have scissors somewhere? Are we actually missing all the cooking utensils I've been wondering about for 20 minutes?" The answer was obviously YES, someone had taken our setup off the table prior to us being sat. Again, grand opening night glitches not a big deal. Here's what costs the star. You're serving raw meats and veg and asking us to cook it at the table, but you've given no cooking oils, zero instructions on how to use this grill, and absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. There isn't even salt or pepper on the table. All you can do is drink it in the soy sauce for the sushi for a little flavor. The seafood and vegetables were so bland I felt I needed to just come for the ingredients and bring it home to cook. PLEASE PUT SOME SALT AND A PEPPER GRINDER ON THE TABLE WITH A BOTTLE OF SOY SAUCE. This would at least give some hope of taste to your naked dishes. To whomever is prepping the scallops, please stop cutting them so thin. They can't get a proper char without overcooking. I understand that the whole "adult" table should be charged the extra $5 for eating both sushi and BBQ, but when you've got a child that has ZERO interest in sushi, it seems a waste to have to fork over that extra $5. But what am I going to do, seat him at his own table? He's 6. He still couldn't cook his own food. Well my family return? ABSOLUTELY, but I'll hope really hard they read this review and thought about what I've said. It was either the Manager or Owner or Chef coming to the tables asking if everything was OK, so I'm thinking they're looking for every opportunity to succeed. Ambience was nice, however I am only giving this 2 stars due to a disappointing experience. There was lack of seasonings available and the meats and veggies were bland. At other AYCE places, you can make your own dipping sauce. Here they provide a tray of 3 sauces which were horrible. As another reviewer mentioned there is no seasonings at the table. No salt and pepper and no soy sauce container. We got the sushi and would run out of soy sauce and have to ask the waiter for more every time. This is just a simple fix. Between the 4 of us, they only gave us 2 cooking utensils. Our plates would stack 5-6 high and no one would clear our dishes unless we asked. Service was not the best and lacking. I absolutely loved my experience here! Our waiter was absolutely awesome, I wish I could remember his name. He was tall and thin with dirty blonde hair I believe, and had a waist band full of different colored pens. He was incredibly helpful, observant, patient, and attentive. The rest of the staff was also kind, working very hard and quickly to make our food fresh and bring it to us. All the food was absolutely wonderful, tasteful, and fresh. I absolutely intend to come back here again soon! I do recommend people try both the sushi and the bbq grill, it's only $5 extra to have both and it was amazing. Had no idea how this even works. First we walked in and went and sat at the bar to wait. It took them 10 minutes to acknowledge us at all for our drinks. Then we were moved to the table and it took at least 10 more minutes to be acknowledged. Our waitress was pretty good, she explained the way it worked. By that time I already figured out the place was going to be ridiculously over priced. If you order food and don't eat all of it, they can charge you by the lb. If you chose to take it home, we'll it's an extra 8.99. Just for a medium mango te in a plastic cup is 5.99!! For my daughter and I the bill was almost 97.00. The food was not anything special. Zero seasonings on the meat. Everything that had any kind of seasoning was way too sweet. Had to ask for salt and pepper. Our server Jace was very cool was speedy and very personable and attentive, I really enjoyed myself as I love KBBQ and I'm so glad we finally got one in Burleson. The only downside would be they need to provide some type of oil or fat to grease the grill plates as the meat does tend to get stuck. However Jace being the awesome guy he was got me some sesame oil from the chefs and that worked out. read more
