This place is great for casual sushi or hibachi if you're in the area. The service is usually pretty good and the food is always tasty. Today I had a Bento E and my wife had a sushi E. Went here first time for a retirement lunch for a co-worker. Was fairly busy so that was a good sign. They offer Hibachi and sushi. Had the hibachi and it was very good. Chefs had a great sense of humor and made the lunch a lot of fun as well and tasty. Edohana also has a sushi bar which will go back at a later date and try. I made a reservation over a month in advance and it was passed along to someone else, despite showing up on time for the reservation. This was also for a birthday party. They were okay. We went on a Saturday night, it was busy, the wait was not bad for our large party. We were lucky that we were able to sit around the fountain or in the chairs that were available, as it got busy there were A LOT of people standing. The hibachi chefs are great & know how to put in a show. They kept us engaged & entertained! Wait staff wasn't too bad, the only thing was we were around the hibachi table. A party of 14 so we had two chefs cooking our party's meal, totally understandable. But my chef started maybe 15-20 prior to the other side, maybe due to it being busy but the minute they cooked our last part of the meal they were handing out to go boxes & the bill not even 5 minutes later. The other side hadn't even had a chance to have their finished meals on their plate. Maybe not great for a large parties that want to enjoy it together. We felt very rushed. My mom & I are allergic to shrimp, we are grateful they prepared our meals in the kitchen. Ample servings, they are generous! Hibachi seating area was elbow to elbow, it was a little tight. I'm left handed, my sister in law was to my left & she is right handed. Cleanliness could be better. I took over 7 people today when they opened up at 4:45 to have dinner and because one person in group can't eat eggs we were treated like DoG Poop !! Best hibachi ever. I've never been to a hibachi restaurant that was as full of laughter and charismatic chefs. Every single table was having so much fun and cheering on the other tables. The food was great, of course, but I was so impressed that my chef took special care to include my toddler! He rolled in cranky and starving-- and the staff made sure to get him some plain rice right when we sat down. Upon walking in, the fish tank is such a nice and different touch to your typical restaurant. That is the ONLY good thing I have to say about this establishment. The building needs some SERIOUS updating to the point to where I feel the health department/inspector should make a visit. The ceiling needs new tiles, they need more ventilation and the floors need a serious deep cleaning. I cant imagine what the kitchen looks like... I am pescatarian, and got the seafood meal which includes lobster, shrimp, and scallops. ALL my delicate meat was OVERCOOKED; the shrimp was curling into itself, the lobster was hard and had to be chewed as if the pieces were a well-done steak. My scallops were the only thing that was eatable; due to me asking the chef to stop cooking them to avoid them being over cooked. Then, a sloppy mess of over-sauced noodles were plopped on top of my plate without the chef even asking if I wanted them, just slop all over my overcooked seafood. When I spoke with the manager Lama Hpauna, he stated, "I should have told the chef how to cook my seafood," he did not offer to make anything right, just went back and forth with me justifying everything I mentioned here. Needless to say, I will NEVER eat here again and will be spreading the word on my platforms on the terrible experience. ***we still tipped the waitress, she was pleasant, however, she didnt even give us the receipt after she took off with the tip. The manager had to reprint the receipt for us on our $100.00 slop of a meal. The rice had a wonderful flavor, crispy succulent, and have a nice nice flavor the steak and shrimp that we ordered for the hibachi had a wonderful flavor. I think next time I'll probably stay with the steak. The vegetables and the noodles were really good as well. The soup and salad that came with the food for the hibachi was wonderful. I had the chicken soup which my husband even enjoyed even though he got Got the miso. It seems that we have just been sitting here waiting and the longer we sat the more we noticed how absolutely disgusting this place is. It is so dirty i was grossed out to even eat my food. There is leftover food in every crack and crevice of this place god knows when the last time they cleaned this place. Literally asked for to go boxes because we did not eat at all and threw it all out as soon as we walked out. The place is so greasy the walls and floors were literally covered in old grease. The prep cart at the kitchen entry was absolutely trashed. When the cook walked out the noodles were draped all over the place and when he cooked the rice he literately drenched the already soaking rice (god knows what the liquid was that came out of the rice) the rice was so gloopy and greasy. Problem is that the salad was very watery and loaded with dressing, they charged us for adult meals for the kids when we clearly pointed out to her on the menu the two kid hibachi steak options, the baby octopus was cold (expected it to be warm) and should have been labeled as such (it was not something we took more than one bite of). Delicious! My friends and I had a wonderful evening at Edohana. We had a 6:30 dinner reservation for teppanyaki, which worked out in our favor as the restaurant was pretty packed at this time. The staff was very attentive to our needs and our chef made the experience as best possible. Shoutout to him! Everything was sufficient but I got the same things I typically get over there off Hulen and I just didn't feel like they were as good as over there. The lady Karen roll wasn't rolled as tight so I couldn't pick it up. Overall, I'd say make the drive to Hulen and try that Edohana unless you want hibachi and then come here. read more

10/10 fun, filling hibachi vibes. Fried rice is very good and the various grilled meats. The chefs are playful and entertaining as well.

My husband and I have been here twice and really enjoyed it both times. We were sat quickly at the hibachi table and they took our drink orders. My husband got the Traditional hot Sake which is not my thing (but he loves it) and I had a glass of rosé wine. We had some sushi the first time we visited to start which was delicious, but Thai time we just had the hibachi due to the big portion sizes. We both had the steak and shrimp and they serve these with egg fried rice, noodles and stir fried vegetables.
