I would put 4.5 stars if I could but it's very close. They make all their food fresh, I especially liked the Parmesan, it's a light taste and isn't overpowering. I will say that there was a lot of chocolate syrup on the s'mores waffle, and there was no music inside the restaurant itself. It made it a long ten minute wait. Otherwise, the service was nice and their portion sizes are big. The entire bottom of the box was filled with crispy fries that tasted like curly fries! You can also tell they use non-GMO chicken because they're not big. The chef gave us extra wings. They also let you choose different sauce for your pieces and they separate them! I've been craving Korean Fried Chicken and bookmarked this place on Yelp and decided to pay them a visit today. It's located in a strip mall but don't be fooled by the exterior! The interior is super cute and looks like it would be a popular hangout for teens. We were greeted immediately and given a menu to review. We decided on a combo which offered 10 wings, waffle fries and a half order of a specialty waffle for $17. We also ordered 2 teas that were $4.95 each. The total with tax was a little over $30 which was steep IMO but it did accommodate 2 people. The dessert was brought out first and it was soooo good! The teas were just okay but not worth the cost as neither of us were wowed. The chicken was cooked to order and comparable to other wing franchises, however I wasn't a fan of the fries but my daughter did. Although I didn't get the Korean fried chicken that I wanted , I did have a good experience. I removed a star due to the ladies restroom lacking signage and the door not fastening. The fries were perfectly fried. The ranch dip tasted homemade. The waffle..... They use these little sugar crystals to sweeten them. This little hole in the wall place was great! They have a great selection of flavors and you can get them crispy if you want. The fries came out hot and crispy as well. We didn't try the waffles, but they looked amazing! I've driven by several times but it didn't look like a place I was interested in from the outside, but don't judge this book by it's cover. The inside sort of has a cool coffee shop vibe. They do have a tv so it's a great place to meet up with friends and watch a ballgame. I'm only giving this 4 stars because there isn't a separate men's and women's bathroom (just my preference) and because it was out of hand towels. But the bathroom itself was clean! . David and Luke helped me decide what to get and even picked out the mango chunks for me in the mango habanero wings. Had a waffle and thought the batter was a bit "off" because it's a yeast based batter. Almost like eating a yeast roll covered in sweet toppings. My first experience was an order for pickup. We ordered 20 wings (4 flavors), waffle fries, and corn nuggies. Our flavors were Buffalo, Garlic Parm, the Thai Chili, and Honey Mustard. We had a mixture of flats and drums and everything was sauced with the perfect amount. The Buffalo flavor was one of the best I've ever had. I was surprised this was my favorite because I'm not too big on spicy stuff. The Thai was our second favorite, it didn't seem spicy at all. The honey mustard was decent but I'm not sure if I'd order it again. The garlic parm was our least favorite. It's usually my go-to flavor at places but it was just lacking a lot. The wings had plenty of meat on the bone. The waffle fries were a little soggy but that was our fault due to the distance to our house. When we got home we threw them in the air fryer for a couple of minutes and they were bomb. They gave us plenty of ranch cups. The ranch tasted like real homemade buttermilk ranch! The corn nuggies caught us off guard. When we first saw them, they looked over done and dry. When we bit into it then they were moist and so sweet.
