The service is always such a pleasant experience. We had the sweetest most helpful server. I ordered 2 Eggs w/ Meat comes with 2 sides. I order poached eggs, sausage and 2 sides of biscuits with gravy. All yummy!!! Those crumbly, fluffy biscuits have my heart My husband ordered the red velvet pancakes with added blueberries and chocolate chips. It was tasty but sooooo sweet. Like dessert as a whole meal! He also order 4 pieces of bacon on the side. We bought two precious mugs bcs we love this place and will miss it when we move to Oklahoma.... We went during a weekday and it was pretty empty, lots of seating! Waiting area is very large for the weekends. Server was nice and the food took no time to come out. Chilaquiles verdes were good, nothing special a bit bland. My husband got the pork chops were very bland with no flavor and pretty dry. Food was definitely a miss that day but I have had good food in our place so we will Try again. Nothing compares to the jalapeño pork chops. "Our Place", what a cute name for restaurant. Located in Cleburne TX, it seems everyone knows of this establishment and enjoys the hospitality, food, and atmosphere. They have great free parking (big lot), outdoor seating, an upstairs bar, a dessert area (full of pies & more), and lots of seating area inside. Everyone is friendly and though they were busy, Kaelyn our waitress seated us and brought our drinks and placed our order in about 10-13 minutes. The menu was several pages ! WOW My great friends of more than 40 years, ( now that tells my age a bit ) The Carter's invited me and I'm glad I accepted. I can't wait to try another dish and a big piece of one of those pies. Everything went great except for 1 semi major detail...the food was not hot and had to be sent back. Easy fix. Waitressed , apologize and resolved the problem. Happen to be in the Clebuene area, and needed some something to eat for breakfast after church. And this place did not disappoint. You can tell us a good establishment when there is a long wait. So we opted to eat at the bar. Which the weight was minimal. Since there were only two of us it was easy to just belly up to the bar and order from there The bar staff was quite busy, but that's understood because of the after church crowd We ordered the breakfast specials that were on the menu, and we were not disappointed Would I recommend this place, absolutely, the food was good, the coffee kept coming, the wait staff was good, and it was always good to meet new neighbors sitting at the bar There's plenty of parking outside, I haven't seen the whole establishment because I really enjoyed eating at the bar so I really can't talk much about the rest of the seating. I was re add ready to give this location 5*, but minuses 1 point because of my food. I am a loyal Ou Place customer. I have never had anything happen at any of the other locations (Burleson, Crowley, or Mansfield. Mansfield is my home location, but I had to visit the Cleburne DPS & decided to visit this location. The atmosphere is great, the staff is great, the service is great. I went to the RR and Ms Angie impressed me by covering my food. Now that's service above and beyond. Now the reason for the -1* is the surprise okra in my TX shaped waffle. The staff replaced it immediately. Management gave me a discount , but none of that dismisses the fact that it happened. read more

This was our first visit to the Cleburne location and we loved it. The seating and interior is spacious and has that feeling of home. My husband and I went here for breakfast yesterday and asked for the chicken fried chicken and at first they gave me chicken fried steak, which is ok? Mistakes happen so the waitress went and changed it to chicken fried chicken. In less than 5 mins my food came out and I cut into it and it was RAW. I mean Raw raw. The chicken looked like it never even touched the stove. I pretty much lost my appetite. But the manager never came over to apologize. They took it off the bill but I'm surprised they never said anything. After searching through reviews in the local area, this restaurant in Burleson, TX had better ones, but the Cleburne one was closer. We went 8/19/2024 @ 1:15 pm. So I ordered the biscuits n gravy with grits- Gravy was cold, grits were cold and clumpy. I asked for the dish to be re-heated. When it returned, the I got to taste the gravy and it was blahhhhh. McCormick gravy packets taste 100% better. I ended up eating my hubby's toast and taters with onions an peppers. He got the sampler. My parents took me and my beautiful wife to this place. They really like Our Place and they eat there very often. The restaurant is nice. I liked the interior vibe. It was rustic but not overstated. There wasn't country paraphernalia covering every square inch of wall space. I ordered the southern scrambler, which was a biscuit smothered in gravy, scrambled eggs and cheese and a side of bacon. My food was well prepared and delicious. You get a lot so I think the prices are reasonable. Our server was friendly and did a decent job waiting on us. We did have to remind them of a few things that they missed when they brought out our meals. All in all it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend eating at this place. read more

Motif is cool, very country decorated. Staff was nice and friendly. The food was ok. Bacon was flavorful and thick. The eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and biscuits were on par with other places. This place is super neat looking inside and out, this is more a destination eatery than a place to stop for the flavors. Went there this morning at 8am & noticed not many people there for Sunday morning. Ordered our drinks, 2 coffee & 4 waters. Took about 10 minutes and she brought 4 coffee & 4 waters. Acted like she was mad when we told her it was 2 coffees not 4. Wife ordered her breakfast and asked for biscuits not buttered. When they brought them out butter was puddled on top. She said she asked for no butter. The waitress took them back and a girl came back and said all were buttered. We told her we eat at the Burleson location and they have unbuttered also.
