Still relatively new to the area and was on the hunt for something we haven't tried. I've seen this spot several times over the past several months and finally made our way over. The vibe is relaxed and pleasant, decor and finishings very nice. We arrived early and were seated immediately, Stefan was over in just a few seconds with water as well. Was started with the pimento cheese plate, a perfect starter. For entrees. I ordered the Santa Maria tri tip steak special and she had the Baja shrimp tacos. Everything was made to order and delicious. Portions were just right, not too big or small. This is a cool spot with great food. It doesn't hurt that the chefs were both on the TV show CHOPPED and one of them actually won! Not the last time we will be back. read more

My husband and I came to this restaurant to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary. The staff, the atmosphere in the food was all five stars! I was so impressed by the kindness of the waiter waitresses and the hostess when you walk in. The prices are a little pricey, but again this is a five star restaurant in everything is worth it! My husband and I ordered the Texas Twinkies, which was basically a jalapeño wrapped in bacon stuffed with some delicious cheeses. I'm not really sure what it was, but it was so good! We both ordered the ribeye steak that came with two sides and it was very very yummy. I loved it. They gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. That was very sweet of them. This is definitely an anniversary or special occasion restaurant and I would love to come back with my parents for their anniversary. read more

I was in town for work and looking for a place with good food and a solid atmosphere. American Revelry came highly recommended, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We started with the jalapeño cornbread and LA style duck wings. Both appetizers were incredible. The cornbread had a great texture with just the right amount of heat and sweetness, and the duck wings were perfectly crispy with a bold, savory flavor that really stood out. For my entrée, I had the smoked turkey club. It was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. The smoked turkey was flavorful, the ingredients were fresh, and everything was balanced just right. The service was professional and welcoming. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself has a polished and inviting vibe. It is clear that a lot of thought went into the entire experience. Even though I probably will not be back in the area anytime soon, I am really glad I had the chance to eat here. I have visited this restaurant twice for brunch and have had enjoyable experiences both times. If I lived closer, I would visit more often. The restaurant itself has a great open atmosphere with unique decor of several states throughout. They even have even supplied the women's bathroom with items needed! This adds such a nice touch since sometimes we can forget to carry certain things. I like that they are very strategic in the way people are seated. The service is always amazing! First time I visited it was for Mother's Day and we did not have a reservation so we sat at the bar because we did not want to wait. It was fun. Second time we did make a reservation. We usually like going here, but we were very upset by our recent visit. We made a reservation for a business dinner at 7pm on a Wednesday and when we got there on time the hostess said it would be a 45 minute wait! We had to leave. How embarrassing for us! We had flown guests in from out of state. This is not how a reservation should be treated. Great spot for date night. We did a double date night here after several family members described the food as "so good it will make you cry." I wouldn't go that far, but for the price, it was very, very good, and we will be eating here A LOT, even though my husband and I live nowhere close. There is a feature menu based on an American state that gets swapped every quarter. When we were there the featured state was Texas. There is always an off-menu chef's special that changes more frequently. My sister, who lives nearby and is a frequent customer, swears by the chef's specials, which she tries every time. There are also some extra-special menu items that are only available on certain days, and they offer brunch on weekends only, so their website is helpful for planning ahead. Expect to pay around $25/plate (although there are some cheaper and some much pricier options), $10-20 for an appetizer, and $18ish for a shareable dessert. Go all in and order every course, as this is the place for a celebratory splurge. The prices are quite reasonable for the caliber of food. Hubby said the old-fashioned was the best he'd ever tasted. The steak-frites was the best steak I've had in Texas. I don't even like jalapenos, but the jalapeno cornbread appetizer the four of us shared was excellent. All of the desserts are huge, so share them. The caramel brownie was enormous and very rich, so we brought half of it home. Be sure to order a scoop of ice cream to go with the bread pudding (which I wish came with more of those delicious toasted pecans). Other family favorites from recent nights out were from this quarter's Texas-themed menu: a sort of chocolate cake meets pecan pie and the wild boar burger. From the moment we sat down, our server was on it--friendly, approachable, super accommodating, and had a great sense of urgency (which isn't easy with a group this size!). We kicked things off with tuna, deviled eggs, and calamari for appetizers--each one was a hit! The flavors were bold, fresh, and absolutely delicious. For my main, I had the salmon with asparagus and rice, topped with a perfectly sweet glaze--so, so good. The drinks were just as impressive. The service here is absolutely immaculate. I've only been twice (so far!) and had the same waitress both times, and she remembered my family AND what we ordered the last time. I really like that they have a rotating/specialized menu for different regions around the country. My friend and I came this last Friday. The food and drinks at this restaurant were decent, but definitely not worth the high prices. For what they charge, I expected a much better overall experience -- especially when it comes to service. Our server barely spoke to us the entire time, which already felt unwelcoming. But what made the experience truly upsetting was what happened after I informed her that I have an allergy to oranges. Despite this, I was served a drink that clearly contained orange. As soon as I took a sip, my tongue started to swell. I immediately told the waitress, who apologized and removed the drink from the bill. While I appreciated that, what shocked me was that no manager came over to check on me. I had a visible allergic reaction in their restaurant and was met with silence from the management. That is simply unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible. This experience left me frustrated, anxious, and completely unimpressed. Good food and drinks can't make up for poor service and a lack of basic safety protocols. While visiting family in the Fort Worth area, I chose this place because it was dog friendly to celebrate my cousin's birthday. We came on a Sunday around 1pm. We had to sit outside on the patio since I had my furball but got seated right away. They brought a water bowl out which was nice since it was getting hot outside. They have fans also which was good. We ordered the chicken Caesar salad, fish tacos and my mom ordered just Salmon since the entree she wanted with rice 'wasn't available during lunch' though the dish my cousin ordered came with rice which was odd, but in the end they brought her out a side of rice. I forgot what entree my cousin ordered (which came with rice) so not sure why we were told they didn't make rice during lunch. The kind waitress had asked if my mom wanted her salmon pink inside and my mom said yes but it came out overcooked so we had to send it back. The chef even came to the table to make sure it was cooked right the 2nd time. The food was just ok and nothing special but since it was my cousins birthday they gave us a complimentary crème brûlée which was tasty. Ambiance is great. This is our second time here and I love the seating, layout and music. The staff is friendly. Our waiter, Forrest, was personable and very knowledgeable about the menu. He really made the experience great. Food is good. Some of it is a little overpriced for what it is. I really love how they change their menu regularly so that it continues to be a restaurant I want to come back to over and over again. I had a chance meeting there with friends, and it did not disappoint. First and foremost, the staff there is amazing, they really know how to take care of you and they definitely look out for you. There's plenty of seating inside, but there's also plenty of seating outside. I imagine during the fall months it is packed being on the outside. And I am also told that they do live music there every once in awhile We had nothing but appetizers while we were there and oh my goodness they were great. I know that they rotate the menu every once in awhile and same with the appetizers, so I recommend trying anything that's on the list We let our waiter help us choose the appetizers and they did not disappoint They have a very nice bar there with lots of concoctions that they can make for you, the bartender was very knowledgeable, and I did enjoy the scotch. Very delicious food and good service during our first dinner here. It is a generally loud place so keep that in mind. 90s pop music was blaring. Not sure the music here matches the ambience, it's quite frankly, pretty strange. The calinari was waaaay overcooked and way too greasy. They seem to be using old oil to fry them, at least that's my best guess. Other than that, everything was delicious. We had the cornbread and it is very good. I think it's just flat out yellow cake mix though moreso than cornmeal. My wife enjoyed her ribeye steak and a glass of wine and I very much enjoyed my beef rib although it absolutely needed extra gravy and does not come with a vegetable. Brussel Sprouts and mashed potatoes were both excellent. Service was great. We will return to try other items, I think everything was just a small notch below 5 stars but they've earned a repeat customer for sure. read more

Our sever came almost immediately to greet us and explained the menu to us and offered suggestions since it was our first time. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner and she kept checking on us to make sure we were good. Menu is on the pricier side but you definitely get what you pay for as far as food, service and ambiance. The restrooms were decorated super cute (pink for the girls) and the had a bunch of complimentary toiletries! I've never seen a restaurant do that before! Everything we ordered was so good and 10/10! Went here for a date night with the husband - ambiance was upscale but not stuffy, service was great, and my food was on point! We arrived way ahead of our reservation and asked to be moved to a booth and both requests were met with politeness. I had the half chicken with collard greens and macaroni. So so good! Rivaled the soul food spot I go to in South Dallas, but the food felt a smidge cleaner, in a good way (maybe less greasy). I asked for an espresso martini even though it wasn't on the cocktail menu - and that too was delicious. Very light, not syrupy at all. Another local find by the hubby. We ventured to Burleson for dinner on a Friday night. We made a reservation for 3 (2 adults and 1 child) and were seated promptly upon arrival. Loved the ambiance of this place and service was top notch from start to finish. Our server Meredith shared that the restaurant had been open since 2020 and she'd been there since opening. They are a chef driven restaurant and the menu changes seasonally to highlight flavors & food from various states. Georgia was being highlighted during our visit. At the recommendation of our server, we started with the soup of the day which was lobster soup. I can't recall if she said it was made with a buttermilk cream or butternut but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. It was creamy but it was too sweet for my liking and the lobster wasn't the star. Our server raved about the featured redfish and okra dish but when my hubby ordered, we were told they'd just run out of redfish. That was a bummer. His backup order was teriyaki salmon with jasmine rice and cabbage salad. He enjoyed his food and said everything paired well together. My daughter ordered the Boo-Yah burger which was a 6 oz waygu beef burger with bacon & fries. She was happy with her food and I enjoyed the few fries I grabbed off her plate. I ordered the Alabama smoked half chicken with collard greens and mac & cheese (the server spoke highly about how this meal is a permanent fixture on their menu). I enjoyed the smokiness of the chicken and the sauce they put on it but it could have benefitted from a little seasoning. The collards were good but I didn't care for the mac & cheese. No alcoholic drinks were ordered but my daughter enjoyed her blackberry mint lemonade. I thought it was super tart though I'm not a fan of beverages with mint. We closed out our meal with the salted caramel brownie a la mode. It was rich and the crunch of the pretzel made for a pleasing bite. Our server actually gave this to us complimentary as a thank you for coming (we'd share how we like finding local restaurants to support). My family and I have been here many times and it's always pretty awesome. Today's visit was the best so far. Our server Forrest was amazing. Not only was he always there when needed but his attitude was such a joy. He was funny and very informative. We will look for him every time we go. The atmosphere here is quaint and comfortable.
