Hamburger Steak, Chicken Caesar Salad, Sirloin, Bone-In Wings. After Spending $100.00 For this order that Came fast and Tasted Old, No Taste or Seasoning on any Entre. The corn on the Cob tasted like water. The Mac and Cheese had an Odor to it. The salad with chicken tasted spoild. First time visiting Lone Star Bar and Grill. There is outdoor seating in the front and in the back. They also have local live music. Regular menu, had the stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeños (chicken) and they were very good. Drinks are at a great price, Wednesday is all day happy hour. The staff is great! They are on point to take care of their customers. I recommend visiting Lone Star Bar and Grill if you are every in old Town Burleson TX. I plan on visiting them again and then I will post more pictures of this great place. read more

I've never liked chicken fried steak. It has always been tough and grisly with flavorless batter. My friends recommended I try Lone Star's and I'm glad I did! Tender with perfectly season batter, this is the best chicken fried steak I've ever had! The staff is attentive and the drinks are cheap! read more

I was hesitant after going to another "bar and grill" that was just a dive bar drenched in cigarette smoke, but this place was pretty good! I still wouldn't consider it a grill, but it had good food, the bartender was nice, and they don't allow smoking inside!! I just wish you served all foods until closing instead of just apps. But we'll be back earlier in the day to try other foods because this pregnant woman needs a good local burger! read more

This place unfortunately will be closed down in a few months. It's in the same category as Spice Rack and Dalton's Corner. Just more of a loud bar scene with obnoxious people walking around with a drink in their hand from table to table. People sitting at their table and shouting across the room to have a conversation with other people. The owners are there too walking around drinking in their flip flops and hootin' it up with their friends and cussin' like crazy. The food's just okay and there's just nothing exciting on the menu. We sure miss the old Hickory Tree and I guess we'll be making the drive to Joshua to see them. We felt like complete outsiders here in a very unwelcoming place with very bad service. read more

We went and ate and won't be back. Forget the steak if you don't like fat.Grilled chicken over done and dry. Loaded baker at $3.99- not worth it. Chips took 15 minutes to get out. We were there first-last out. Waited 15 minutes to get our order, 20 to get food, 20 to get our credit card back. If you like boot scooting you might enjoy it. read more

I found this place by word of mouth so I decided to give it a try. I had what I would equate to a religious experience with the fresh, hot bowl of the best gumbo I've ever had. I'm not a gumbo connoisseur by any means, but I've had enough gumbo to know good from bad. Whoever is the kitchen is KILLING it. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Kim and I will be returning as much as I can. This place is a gem. read more

Well, where do I begin?? In an effort to patronize Burleson eateries, we decided to try Lone Star Bar & Grill. First, we were told the computers were down and things were 'running a bit behind'. Hells bells, we could have driven into Fort Worth and back in the time it took to get our salsa and chips!! When asked about the status of said salsa and chips, we were told, 'our computers are down and things are backed up'. How difficult is it to step into the kitchen and get a salsa and chips?? Lunch first time here was pretty bad. Food took 45 minutes to come out. There was 9 of us. Orders were wrong one, no ketchup on table and none brought with the fries orders, half the group finishes before the other orders came out, just very slow all around. New place so hope they figure it all out. Would like to come back since it's close. Food was ok. Owner brought out some free pie to offset the problems we had. I think they are trying. My wife and I visited yesterday for the first time. Had a chance to meet with the owners whom were nothing but friendly and just a joy to visit with. We had the Lone Star Bombers to start with, HIGHLY recommend. The "Boom boom" sauce is delectable. Then the wings which we also really liked. Not greasy and very flavorful. We finished with a piece of the chocolate pie which was heavenly!! Our bartender was on top of her game and service was fast. Management was around to check on us also! Food didn't take long to come out. Not really sure what all the bad reviews are about. Disregard and come try this place out for yourself. We definitely weren't disappointed. Service is similar to Spice Rack - sometimes you get served and sometimes you have to go up to the bar yourself if you want another drink. Had a very young waitress inside that could not ring up flautas then argued that the Cap'n Crunch chicken we received was what the flautas rang up as.....then the waitress tells us someone else will be handling our table because she has to leave ... I guess her shift is done ? So you just leave your tables ? So the other waitress never showed . So we went to find the chef himself , explained the problem , he brought us the correct food himself. Still never saw the 2nd waitress . So we had to go up to the bar and (for lack of a better term) "beg" them to take our money. Ok, let's get this straight from the previous reviews. It's a BAR & grill. Shrimp appetizer was frozen but not bad. Burger was better than average. Outdoor venue is great. Drinks were fine and everything was well priced. Service was spotty, but I expect that until they work out all the kinks. Any new outdoor music venue in Burleson is a good thing. The are not trying to be Del Frisco's people! read more

Let me start by saying I'm new to yelp , newish to the area still , so I have used it to find cool places. I never review but this one needs it. I came in on Friday June 7th for the first time. I wanted to check out the Dolan band they had playing. I started off inside, was greeted by a server in passing on the front patio , then went into the bar for a drink it is about 8:30pm , the bartender seemed nice enough made my drink she had on glasses and long brown hair don't recall the name shauna maybe , however I watched her next encounter this bartender was beyond rude to the other ladies getting drinks at her bar, your front bar is the face of your bar and that attitude is what had her Bartop pretty empty more than anything. Keep in mind customers can hear how you talk to your coworkers and when you call them names under your breathe. read more
