Absolutely delicious breakfast! We tried the biscuits and gravy, Texas-shaped waffle, hash browns, French toast, and sausage. Everything was a 10/10 except that I wish they had Diet Coke instead of just Coke Zero. That would've made it a perfect experience! Our server was delightful. I wish I could remember her name. Food: this one hurt me Texas steak scrambler flavor was all there the steak was as chewy as gizzards. Took a min to get it all chewed. I ordered one pancake and it was as tough as leather even after drowning it in syrup i tried to get through it but after a few cuts to the roof of my mouth I tapped out!! Went for breakfast and waited 30 minutes at my table and did not receive service. I even called the restaurant and said, "I think you forgot about me." I waited aboit 10 more minutes and then got up and lwft. I told the girl at the front (tall, short dark hair) that no on had waited on me and that I was keaving. New in town and browsing yelp looking for a breakfast spot and found this spot and had to give it a try. I was not disappointed! When we arrived the parking lot was packed, a good sign. To my surprise we were seated immediately and Ashley had our drink order in no time flat. Once we ordered our meal it was only about five minutes before it was in front of us. Everything was made to order and delicious. Ashley and the staff were all attentive and pleasant. The prices are more than fair and the vibe is homey, felt like going to family dinner honestly. Stopped in at Our Place in Burleson and immediately felt like I walked into a family kitchen. Kat was our waitress and she was absolutely awesome --friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without hovering. The food (I had the breakfast sampler)? Just like mom made it. Fresh, comforting, and cooked with care. The owner, Otto, even came by the table to chat, and mentioned his son was running the front of the house. You can really tell this is a family-run spot with pride in what they do. Good people, great service, and food that hits the soul. Probably my favorite breakfast places in Burleson! I decided to come in and try them for lunch and WOW I was impressed. The service was fantastic as ever and food came out super quick even though they are always packed! The decor of this restaurant gives it a very homey feeling and the servers are always on top of everything. I ordered the Pork Ribeye Steak and it came with a Honey Garlic Red Pepper sauce on it and it was fantastic! The taco soup was also extremely tasty and I wish I could have it everyday! read more

Late lunch on a Saturday, unfortunately the trade off for no wait was they sold out of the special. Menu was lengthy so hard to decide but went for CFS and the chopped steak and onions. Daily soup was a creamed veggie and was very good. Found the honey butter for roll to be a little more dessert like so actually ate that after the meal. All in all good food and great service. Okra was really good, slaw is a broccoli slaw version so not as well liked by my picky eater. Both mains were solid and as expected. Food seems to be well cooked and on point for the expected taste of the item so solid choice for home cooking style menu! They do offer large number of salads and an expansive side list so appreciate the variety. Would go back when next in this area. read more

Food was great, we had the chicken fries steak, omelette and Texas shaped waffle. The portions are huge, plenty of food to eat. Coffee was really good too and I always had a full cup. They have one person for just drinks only and another to take the food order. We sat outside on the nice patio and they had a fan running outside so it didn't feel hot at all. This is the best breakfast in Burleson. There is almost always a wait but it moves super fast. They offer indoor or outdoor seating and both are covered and enclosed so you're not in the elements. They have an extensive menu and offer lunch as well but the breakfast is hard to pass up so it's what we typically order. The staff are very attentive and they keep your coffee cup filled up. The 2 egg breakfast is our usual choice and the home fries are so good! read more

We had breakfast here for the first time in a long time. My husband and I both ordered 2 eggs over medium. I must say all of the eggs were cooked to perfection! The coffee was super hot and very fresh. The bacon was crispy; just as I asked. The avocado toast was good. The buttermilk pancakes were okay. My girlfriends and I hit this place up a couple months ago for brunch. The fact that the line is out the door no matter what time of day should really say something. Despite how busy it was it seemed like we got seated fairly quickly and the staff was on the ball on everything. We had the hardest time picking meals because everything sounded so good, and all the food coming out to other tables looked great. I settled on the CFS breakfast and omg! Hands down in the top five best I have had anywhere. I'm from Texas, I know good CFS. You could tell just by the breading this was not any kind of precooked frozen meat thrown into a kitchen fryer. The gravy was good, but lacked a little something I can't quite describe. The whole meal was huge and none of us could finish what we ordered. I snagged a bite of my friend's stuffed French toast and I'm definitely coming back for that. read more
