I came here because the Google reviews were pretty good, but unfortunately my experience didn't live up to the ratings. The prices are reasonable, and I originally wanted to try the sushi, but the restaurant was extremely warm inside, which honestly made me question how fresh the sushi would be. One thing that stood out was the huge variety of Asian cuisines on the menu. While having options is nice, it also made me wonder if they're really able to execute each dish well. I ordered the orange chicken with yakisoba noodles, but when my food arrived, I was served lo mein. The waitress even referred to it as lo mein. When I mentioned that I had ordered yakisoba, she insisted that it was yakisoba. It wasn't. Yakisoba and lo mein are two completely different dishes. To make matters worse, the noodles were cold, dry, and lacked any real flavor. The food also came out incredibly fast--less than ten minutes after ordering. While some people might see that as a positive, it made me feel like my meal wasn't prepared fresh and was likely pre-made or simply reheated. The appetizers were disappointing as well; they were doughy and bland. The orange chicken was actually good, but I didn't come here just for orange chicken. To top it all off, before we had even finished eating, the waitress/host brought us to-go boxes without asking if we were done. It made us feel like we were being rushed out, even though it was just a Sunday afternoon. Overall, I won't be returning. There were a few positives, but the poor food quality, incorrect order, and rushed service outweighed them. I was really hoping for a better experience. read more

We went after work, this location is right in the same parking area as Quality Inn, so it's easy to find. This location seems better and bigger than the other branch. Love the atmosphere and ambiance, of this place. Walked in and was immediately greeted and seated. We got a hibachi set, with salmon, grilled vegetables rice and soup. We also ordered some takoyaki, sashimi set and soft shell crab. Please get the crab if you like seafood you won't be disappointed. The sashimi set also had some thick cuts of fish, I enjoyed it. We also got a sushi roll, which was delicious. Trying to remember the name, but we were too hungry. Our server was friendly and sweet, our food also came out on a cute robot server. There was a nice mix of patrons inside the restaurant and they also seem to get a lot of take out orders, which is a great sign. The decor is cool, definitely a positive experience. We were in Fort Worth and decided to give Mulon Asian Kitchen a try. Traffic is a mess because of construction on I-20, but one off the highway it was easy to get to with plenty of parking. We were early so not crowded and we were seated quickly. Friendly and attentive server got our order and the food started coming! The miso soup was good, the crunchy California roll was fantastic! Bento box with steak and one with tempura shrimp were both huge and the food excellent. A good find! read more

I was initially impressed with this place, but I noticed they charged 50cents on my to-go order one time, even though we had 6 dishes to-go & only asked for 1 small container of hot sauce. I thought ok, maybe they do it only for to-go. We went there again last week for lunch. We ordered shrimp & steak lo mein, steak teriyaki bento box, & stuffed jalapeno. I asked for the hot chili sauce, as I always do when I go to a Chinese restaurant. I got the bill & there was a 50c charge again for less than a tbsp of hot chili sauce! Waitress never said anything when we ordered about chili sauce being extra $. When asked, she acted like I should've known & she showed me a separate sauce menu that showed that all sauces are extra $! It's the principal that surprised me, like being charged for ketchup at a burger restaurant, or bbq sauce at a bbq restaurant. Now the food. The stuffed jalapeños were pretty good & creamy, but NOT spicy at all. The bento box was big but mostly filled with veggies - the salad, stir fry veggies & edamame. There were few steak pieces, barely enough to satisfy one person. The steak was bland & dry (although waitress asked how I wanted the steak to be cooked & I chose medium rare). The dumplings were not bad, not spectacular. My total for the lunch bento box & tip was $20, not really a good deal for lunch special. I had to add meat to the leftover veggies & rice. It's in the parking lot to a hotel plenty of parking as you go in there decor is very unique was able to get seated right away and served order the sushi roll and a bento box. We have been to Mulan's twice. Both times have been delightful and visually beautiful. The waitress are pleasant and personable. The location is in the old Denny's but they have spent a lot of time making it something new. It is worth a look. read more

Visited on 6/4/25 for dinner after seeing lots of great reviews. Sushi is one of our favorites and the pictures looked fantastic so we were excited to stop in. Nicely decorated and clean upon entering. Quickly greeted by Carman and seated immediately. Not very busy which was great. Drink orders taken and quickly returned with them as we reviewed the menu. Water and sweet tea. The tea was disgusting - tasted sour and very old. We asked for a soda instead and Carman obliged. We ordered only sushi - 4 rolls Hair Mex, Las Vegas, Green Forest, and On the Border. Order took about 30 mins to arrive which was quite long given there were only 3 other tables seated. To our disappointment, one of the rolls was completely wrong. She took the entire plate back and we had to wait about 10 mins to return with 1 roll and had to wait about 20 mins for the wrong roll to be made. Rolls were good, the tempura fried were okay, def had an oily/greasy flavor. The others tasted pretty fresh. Presentation was really cute and appealing. Overall service was okay - nothing spectacular. Food was good, nothing to rave about. May give a different part of the menu a try but not sushi. I will give a kudos for having pics of the rolls - always helps when choosing a new roll. read more

This is a remodeled Denny's, that was done really well. It was a lot of effort put into the recreation of this place. Now on to the real review, the food was really bad and it was freaking ant crawling around the back side of sushi plate! Told the server in private only to return back and say the manager said they can't do anything for my inconvience. I'm assuming whomever the manager is came, brought some crappy seaweed dish "on the house" I paid and left that crappy food. So the same pest and bug issues the Denny's had that caused it to close, is still present there too. Lucky Wok is much much better and they will respect your money and time after getting a disgusting ant crawling on your plate. read more

First time here, and it was a very good experience. I had the spicy shoyu ramen with pork and I have to say it was probably some of the best ramen I've had in a while. The broth was spicy but very flavorful and the pork was cooked to perfection. All of that paired with the ramen made it very flavorful. My wife loved her bento box and her sushi. I don't think I was the biggest fan of the sushi (I had the Las Vegas roll) but I would definitely try a different sushi next time to see if I change my mind. They had great service, very attentive and friendly. It was a little bit humid, but other than that not much I can complain about. read more

First time here and the atmosphere is amazing, customer service is outstanding. The food is amazing and high quality. And the restaurant is so clean I would eat on the floor lol. If you have kids it's perfect! You know how kids are with touching everything and for some reason laying down on the floor in public but I would say it's so clean in here that I wouldn't be scared if my kids played on the floor in here. The entrance looks retro and is the perfect topping on the retro feel in the restaurant! 10/10 gotta recommend. And I'm from out of town by the way read more
