Beef and chicken birria tacos served with fresh onions and cilantro. Don't forget to order the consummé on the side to dip your tacos in.

Tucked away in Everman, Texas, there's a taco spot so good, it might just ruin all other tacos for you. Welcome to Taco Oasis--where the tortillas are golden, the meat melts in your mouth, and every bite is a flavor explosion. Established in 2010, Taco Oasis looks like a simple, no-frills spot--a hidden gem only the locals seem to know about. But step inside where the rich, savory scent of slow-cooked meats and sizzling tortillas wraps around you like a warm hug. Known for their different types of tacos, tortas, and burritos, it was a tough choice narrowing down our selection from the vast menu. We finally settled on the beef and chicken birria tacos for our main meal. The beef and chicken birria tacos weren't just good--they were unforgettable. Slow-cooked until they were fall-apart tender, then tucked into a crispy, golden corn tortilla that had been bathed in rich, savory consommé. Each bite had a perfect crunch, followed by juicy, melt-in-your-mouth meat, gooey melted cheese, and the fresh snap of onions and cilantro. And that consommé for dipping? Pure magic. Nothing pairs better with tacos than an ice-cold, glass-bottled Coca-Cola--the kind with real sugar that fizzes just right and brings back memories of summer days. And dessert? We struck gold at The Churro Box--another hidden gem located inside Taco Oasis. We tested out the churro sticks to set the standard, and we were not disappointed. Served hot and fresh, coated in just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar, each bite was like a crispy, sweet cloud. The Churro Box features several different sauces to dip your churros in, like chocolate, caramel, and Nutella. We kept it simple and just focused on the churros. Some honorable mentions that I just didn't have room to try this time are the street tacos (several meat choices to try and available in a box for larger parties), the various flavors of frescas, and lastly, the horchata--a cold rice milk flavored with cinnamon and vanilla. Taco Oasis may be a local hole in the wall, but it's clean and well ran. The food price point was perfect for the quantity and quality you receive. If you love tacos, you need to put Taco Oasis on your must-visit list. Grab some birria tacos, dunk them in that rich consommé, and don't forget to finish with a churro (or three). Trust me--your taste buds will thank you.

    Chicken birria. My favorite!

Tacos Oasis is a restaurant that needs to be on your must visit list! I came here after a great morning at Timberview Farmstead down the road. I learned that Timberview supplies Tacos Oasis with some of the food they grow, and both staff I spoke to recommended Taco Oasis highly. When you first walk in, there is a self-serve ordering kiosk with pictures and prices. The pictures really helped me in deciding what to get, but honestly, everything looked amazing! After ordering, we had about enough time to walk through the place before I got a text that part of my order was ready at the ice cream bar and then shortly after, another text for my hot food items. I had some of everything I ordered, and so did my daughter. We loved it all. If I had to say my two favorite things, it would be the Mangonada and the chicken birria with all the toppings. The runner-up: the homemade taco with barbacoa and the topo loco Agua preparada. When I come back, I will order even more so I can eventually try everything on the menu. Based on today's experience, I know it will be delicious! They also cater, so I hope we can use them for our neighborhood social events. Who wouldn't want tacos and a churro bar?! If you need to grab and go or drive through, that is also an option, but I highly recommend eating on the patio. Music, ample seating, a pickleball court, and a playground. With good food in your hand, this is a recipe for a fantastic mood! The playground is a great feature. I would say it is geared towards children 3+ as some of the steps were quite high. Younger kids can use the swings. One strap on the pink little tykes swing was broken, but hopefully, they can get that fixed. I was already having a great time eating some great food with my daughter, when employee, Maria Carmen took it to the next level. After I asked her for a container, she came outside to check on me. She saw that I needed another one and a bag. She came back to help me pack up the items and even put my Mangonada, chamoy manzana and watermelon with chile in the fridge while I went to clean up my daughter in the bathroom (she loved the watermelon and chile a LOT) and played on the playground for a bit. It is people like Maria Carmen that fill your soul knowing that the world has kind and generous people. In all, come to Tacos Oasis for the delicious food, drinks and ambience of a patio, pickleball and playground and you may also leave with your heart swelling with love from being cared for by awesome, thoughtful employees like Maria Carmen.

Excellent quesabirria tacos!! Guacamole was also pretty good. This place has a LOT of options. I previously said their rice was really good, but when I went back and got a large side of rice, it was inedible - flavorless and hard.

From all the good reviews I thought this place was gonna be a favorite!! Lots of people eating here too!! Very cool concept!! But two thumbs down down!! Everything we had was not good at all... it wasn't gross like omg food was nasty NO!! Just the food was not good!! So I'll say the tortillas were ok and the agua de Jamaica was good!! That's it!! Taco de Tripa: way to crunchy no flavor!! Taco de barbacoa no good- no flavor didn't taste like barbacoa- even the color was off!! Taco de pescado ; no Good ,, no flavor at all!! Asada was blah as well!! Too dry The birria was not nasty but it was not good!! Way to sweet for my liking and too I think the quality of the meat sucked!! It was not tender how birria should be!! This place looks like it has potential. The whole family didn't like anything they had!!

We just finished our meal and I'm not sure I have the words yet to express just how much we enjoyed Tacos Oasis. Saturday night, around 7:30, this spot was lively but not overly packed. My partner and I ordered quickly and found a seat, then waited less than 10 minutes for our feast to be ready. California burrito (asada + no sour cream), torta Cubano, ceviche with chips + salsa, an elote cup, and a small and medium jamaica to drink. After tip, our meal only set us back $51. Holy smokes. This is what I have been searching for since moving from San Diego to DFW over 3 years ago. Everything was bursting with freshness and flavor, perfectly seasoned and cooked, and it got better with every bite. We never wanted it to end - so thankfully we have leftovers. Portion sizes are great for the prices. We gave Tacos Oasis a try because we were considering using them to cater our wedding next year. Needless to say, this one visit absolutely sealed the deal. We can't wait to come back.

I been here plenty of times and have order from enough to feel confident about this review. This place is located way out in the boonies lol. You blink and you miss the turn haha. Trust me though, its worth almost getting lost haha. I was first introduced to Tacos oasis by coworkers who order for pick up. I had their tacos for lunch once. I got the pastor and that green salsa omg I cannot get enough of it! The refried beans and rice that come with it is average. I also got the elote for that and it was good, not amazing but just good. Another time I went in person and order the nachos on one of my coworkers recommendations. WOW! The nachos take up the whole tray when they serve them to you. They dont skimp on the guac, sour cream or cheese. These nachos were too much for one person I for sure can see them being shared by 2 people. I have also had their pepino loco and it could use more lemon/lime flavor along with tajin and way less chamoy. The next thing on the menu I want to try is the birria tacos along with the birria ramen. I have been here once during the lunch hour and it was not too busy and the rest of the times I have been here have been after 5pm. There is plenty of seating and plenty of parking. I will update this post once I try the birria tacos yum!

The food here hit the spot after a long day of travel. The space is large and connected to an ice cream shop. I was there an hour and a half before close on a Sunday and there was still a steady stream of people coming in as well as going through the drive through. I made the mistake of ordering at the kiosk when you first walk in. It was supposed to text me the receipt and then they would text me when my order was ready. I had to ask them if they got my order and after a few minutes they found my ticket. I went inside to sit down and wait at a table (which I noticed you could also scan a QR code and order right there. Next time I would try that or getting in line at the counter. My food took a bit of time to come out (I saw parties of 3-4 people who ordered (via the counter) after me getting their food before I did. After about 20mins I walked up to the counter to check and my food was just coming up. I never got a text though. So not sure if it would have just sat there? The tacos were great. The tortillas fresh and the meat/toppings had a lot of flavor. Some of the meat was a tad dry but nothing that would stop me from eating more of it. I wish we had more taco joints like this closer to where I live. The service and friendliness of the staff was amazing. They were helpful the times I had to check on my order or making sure my ticket was in. I felt the pride they had working there. I hope to visit again.

Damn good tacos joint hiding out kind of in the middle of nowhere. Simple concept and a weird setup but at the end of the day the food makes up for it. Tacos are mostly all pretty small street tacos style (I opted for 4). Fish taco was a little bigger and probably my fav out of the ones I tried. I will say that my coworker didn't care much for the ceviche, there didn't appear to much fish in there and what little there was finely chopped pieces, quite hard to discern from the bits of onion and whatnot. Would surely come back again when I'm in the area.

Stop asking for tips in the drive thru. Either be a sit down restaurant with waiters or be a fast food place.
