Food was 9/10. I got the huevos rancheros that were perfectly cooked over medium like I wanted. I did want some more heat to the ranchero sauce, but that's my personal preference. The food came out fast, it's more of a to go restaurant but the service was fast to our table, no more than a 10 minute wait for our food to come to us. Juan's is a staple to those of us in southwest Fort Worth. I cannot say I have ever had anything bad from his restaurant. Today I had the barbacoa plate, to go. We called it in and it was ready as soon as we got there. They serve a generous amount of meat, and a good amount of rice and beans. His barbacoa is so clean and is not greasy at all! So tasty! They also serve up some of the best beans ever! I will say the tortillas are nothing to brag about, but the flavor of the entree and sides makes up for that. Ok this review took a few days to decide what to say about it. So to start, with the staff. Very nice and helpful. I couldn't make up my mind, so just asked "so what's good?" And after narrowing down what I might want, recommended the most popular burritos, so got one. Then he went through what they can put on a burrito to make sure I was good with everything. This is how it should be. Just overall helpful. The 3 stars, though is for the burrito itself. The meat had a good flavor, but I got the giant burrito and it came out more like a giant taco. They didn't even have tortillas that could close, making it very difficult to eat, success I eat in my car so can listen to music. Was it good? Yes it had a pretty good flavor and the hot sauce actually had a kick to it (not common for Mexican places... The burrito was really just an average size that you get at most places, nothing really king size about it. The tortilla was average, eggs were about 80% of the burrito with two slices of bacon. Cheese is extra. They only have red salsa. Staff is very friendly. Wait times on a Sunday morning are about thirty minutes and the seating area is small. It was literally just an average tasting burrito. I didn't find anything special about the taste. I didn't receive a receipt but I assume the charges for cheese and one burrito being carne asada must be significant for a burrito starting at $6.75 to jump to the price it did. read more

Even if the food was terrible, I love some good service! Well, food didn't disappoint. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese burrito (small) and a migas plate. All of it incredible! Salsa wasn't spicy but made to perfection! Warm tortillas with the migas plate and let's talk about the bacon in the burrito. Crispy bacon has my heart. So many places mix the eggs and bacon in cooking then put in the burrito. Not these guys, you can tell it's cooked separately, crispy and made each bite of the burrito so perfect. Seems lately that they don't appreciate the business. The past 3 times I have ordered food from there! I was upcharged for adding cheese to my burritos. When you buy 10 and up that starts to get costly! Which understandably does cost extra. Why does it cost me extra $$$ to use card?? Point being if food is good. Don't mind paying! Was told to bring food back! Was not able to eat breakfast and wait hours after lunch to get my food I paid for 4hrs earlier! Asked if I could be compensated for waiting,drive back 2xs. Small local place. Big parking lot. We went at 9:30 so there wasn't a huge line but I guarantee there's one earlier in the morning. The prices are good and the food is better. We decided to sit and eat. Coffee was self serve and good. We had chorizo and eggs and bacon egg potato burritos. They were both hot fresh and delicious! The salsa they give with the burritos was really good as well. Great atmosphere and gentleman who took our order was happy, nice, and upbeat.
