This is a no nonsense seafood boil place. You're not coming for ambiance and table service. you order at the counter and there are video poker games in the back. But that's not why we were here, we came for crawfish! Everything was done a la carte. The crawfish was $7.99lb and you had to order corn and potatoes and sausage if you wanted them. All separate. It was a bit different, and add it all up, the price point is about the same as Flying Fish. They bring everything out in separate to go containers which creates a lot of trash, but little cleanup. Environment be damned. However, the food was good. The crawfish were a bit small but this was the first week in March, a bit early. Their seasoning was on point. I ordered the spicy. It was tasty but not really spicy. The people working the counter were very pleasant and my friend and I enjoyed our food. It is a bit out of the way for me, but it hit the spot.
My friend suggested this place for the turkey neck platter and seafood. I ordered the turkey neck platter with cajun and lemon pepper seasoning. It was amazing. We placed the order 'to-go' but the vibes were amazing and they had a bar inside so we had a few cocktails and decided to also order a hookah while we waited. It was an unexpected good time - we're looking forward to returning! Our waiter was Alexander and he was on top of everything, definitely recommend visiting if your in the area.
Food Alert! If seafood is your vibe, let's be friends! I went to Krab Kingz Seafood (Forth Worth area) for the first time yesterday, and they did NOT disappoint! That was some of the best linguine, seafood pasta I've had in a long time!! They do not skimp on the meat. And the crab legs and crawfish were perfectly seasoned with their spicy honey garlic sauce! On Thursday's they have an all-you-can-eat crawfish special with one drink for $25! And let me add, the customer service was EXCELLENT! That lady at the front was working hard! Its extremely laid back no need to dress up. Get in there and get ya fingers messy. The pasta was great as well. The downside is if you don't know where to find it you go right pass. They definitely need more advertising because you're missing out on a real treat. I'll never go to Shell Shack again.
I asked my daughter what we should rate this place and she said 5 stars! The customer service itself deserves it they said "make yourself at home" and it definitely felt like it! the flavor was amazing! This will be our new go to place!

Had crab legs only plate and crab & shrimp plate...comes with potatoes, sausage, corn and a hard boiled egg. Fair priced and portions were large, you won't leave hungry. Both plates were Cajun flavored, and they were excellent!! Happy we stopped today and definitely will be back soon. Only issue was fountain drink machine wasn't working, but they had can/bottle options as a trade off. It happens, no biggie.

The server was okay. The kitchen was slow and I was the only person in the place. I had the shrimp pasta. It was eatable at best. It was served in styrofoam container and I was eating there. Their soda machine was broken.

I'll start with our kids meal. Our 11 year old had the chicken strips. She gave them a thumbs up. But the fries have a little spice to them and the corn was too spicy she didn't like. We ordered mild spice and it was the perfect heat four our table. A little heat on your tongue but didn't kill your taste buds. #1. The lobster was a 6 ounce tail, ok size but way over cooked and tough, like rubber. The crab legs were small. There were a ton of potato's and the kielbasa was a nice change to the sausage most places have. The shrimp were on the smaller size and unremarkable. #4. Crab legs were small, over cooked to the point of being mushy. A ton of potato's but they were the only substance to the box. Each had an over cooked hard boiled egg. You order at the counter. We weren't impressed.

The crab is so sweet and succulent. The sausage is very good quality. The corn and eggs were cooked to perfection.. Out waitress was friendly and nice! We have been wanting to try Krab kingz for a long time. Stop by for a late lunch on a Saturday and happily they weren't super busy. It doesn't seem like much sitting in the strip center, but we walked inside. They've got two good size dining areas and plenty of room. Also we enjoyed that they had the football games on TVs in both rooms. The menu appears to be updated almost daily on a chalkboard. It took a minute to look over everything and make a choice. We opted for the fried oysters as an appetizer then I ordered the fish and shrimp plate and my wife ordered the # 7, which today was one cluster snow, crabs, and shrimp. They brought our food out in to go boxes, which is I guess what everybody eats out of. We were both blown away when we opened them up and saw how much food they give you. The portions are huge. My fish and fried shrimp was pretty good. The fish could use a little bit more seasoning, but it was cooked very well and tasted good. The shrimp was really good and once again I was surprised at how big they were. There was a ton of fries and only ate about half of them, but they were good as well. I was very impressed with the fried oysters. They were big oysters and tasted great. My wife loved her snow crab. It comes with tons of potatoes, corn on the cob and several shrimp and we were stuffed by the time we left. We will definitely come back and try something different on the menu next time read more

This place is super BOMB! Food was excellent! We got two loaded platters since they apparently no longer have the fully loaded. The crab was excellent! The spice level for the Cajun butter was great, not too spicy at all but enough to feel the heat. My reasons for three stars is not due to food but service. We called the order in for pick up and we're told 25 min. We showed up at 25 min and sat for an ADDITIONAL 46 min! Not sure why it took over and hour to make the meal. I'd love to have this place again BUT I'll make sure I show up to pick my food up WAY after the time line given. read more

Been going to this location for about 2 years these pics are all the same thing but in that span. VERY consistent and flavorful food man oh man. Only place I go to for crab legs or any seafood boil of any type. Only reason I took a star off is because the service is generally nonexistent. The worker at the register usually is confused or lost. The place is always dead I'm not sure why the flavor is amazing! read more
During our visit to Texas I heard a lot of buzz about this black-owned business and baby I tell you they did magnificent. Let me start off by telling you I honestly not a fan of the shelled seafood because most place don't have seasoning and you have to dip it in butter. But this place proved me wrong it was very well-seasoned and that they made me a fan. Even though we were not able to dine inside they were super welcoming - since we were kind of in a time crunch we called it in and of course our order was big but it also gave us time to drive there. we did not want to miss the shut off window If they had one. We paid then they told us it was a little bit more weight but we were happy to wait cuz that just means it's called to order and not just sitting under an hot lamp - once the food was prepared they delivered it straight to our vehicle. I'm super happy that I tried and it lived up to the hype my parents were very pleased. Happy eating!!! read more

This place is amazing! So glad a girl at the nail shop told me to come. Amazing seafood, everyone is soooo friendly and attentive. It's busy and small but fast and fresh!! Can't wait to come back to try more of their food. They have a full bar and happy hour everyday too. read more

I returned here back in April and had the same experience as last time. I ordered the small shrimp platter to go and it took them less than ten minutes to complete my order. Prices have gone up which I expected, so I recommend looking on Groupon for discounts like I did. The small shrimp platter can easily be two meals depending how hungry you are. I had the Cajun and spicy seasoning together for the sausage, potatoes and shrimp, so yummy. The spicy level will have your mouth burning but it's so worth it. I love having a Cajun spot close by and can't wait to come here again. It would be helpful if their phone lines were operating so that way you can place an order over the phone. The lady who served me was attentive, quick and friendly. read more

I saw a TikTok with a seafood boil & needed on ASAP!!! Didn't know where to go & this place was listed as one of the 10 best in FW. Almost didn't go because it was a 35 minute drive but decided why not. So happy we did, it was soooo good!!! I did the #7 with lemon pepper & honey garlic, it was the bomb. Came here for dinner for two and they do currently have dine-in. They seemed to not be that busy, because they only had 4-5 other tables seated around where we sat. However, this was not the case at all. If we had known ahead of time how long the wait would have been, we would probably not have sat down. They did not inform us that there was a delay. Once we sat down, we noticed around us that everyone else was waiting for their food and also appeared to be frustrated. We waited for 45+ minutes for our food to come out. We had even ordered appetizers, but those came out at the same time as the rest of our food. We did notice that they were going in order of those waiting, so it was fair in that aspect. I'm not sure if they are short on staff or what the reasoning was, but I do believe that they shouldn't leave their customers waiting that long for their meals. They did apologize for the wait, but it is hard to give them a good review for that long of a wait. The food came out kinda cool and not as hot as we would have imagined, especially if the wait was due to them cooking/boiling as the orders are taken. The crab legs were small and the seasoning was sparse. They did give us more clusters than was stated in the combo we ordered, but that may be due to the sizing of the crab legs. We have been wanting to stop here ever since I saw a post about them. This place oh my gosh? The minute you walk in you can smell the food. I was hungry before we got here but the minute you open the door and smell it I was starving. You get a menu peruse it and go to the counter to order. When food is done they bring it to you. The service and people are as good as the food. We ordered the fully loaded platter feeds 2-3. 3 crab clusters, 2 sausages, 2 ears corn, 2 eggs, 17 shrimp, and potatoes. Was so so good! Husband could not believe how fast I ate. We could not finish everything but the sausages and remaining potatoes will be great with breakfast in the morning. Will most definitely go back. UPDATE... so we liked it so much we brought our daughter,son-in-law, and grandsons. They loved it. I think the oldest grandson ate his weight in crab, lol. read more

A hidden gem serving up good crab and seafood at a great price point. You walk in and order at the cashier stand and pick a table to sit if you're dining in. Everything is served in a togo box either way. Husband and I got the #2 to share which comes with 3 snow crab clusters, 17 shrimp, potatoes, eggs, sausages in your choice of seasoning. We got the Cajun and it was good. I would like to try the spicy or original (Old Bay) next time. My only bummer for this place is that they don't serve king crab or other variety of crab-- just snow crab from my experience. The menu online lists exact prices for their platters and food so that's a plus! Not having to guess what "market price" is. Overall, I would definitely go back but order it togo. I looked over their online menu before my arrival. Only for their menu at the restaurant to be missing items that were offered online. Secondly the prices didn't match as well. The staff was nice, minus a server named Chris. Someone at our party asked for crab crackers, which came with an overly drawn-out explanation to why they didn't have any. Thirdly, the seasoning on the seafood was extremely heavy. While the crablegs & potatoes didn't have any flavor, which led me to believe they were steamed to be prepared or boiled in water only. We ordered butter only to have a Styrofoam cup of cold butter brought to our table. Who wants to dip their seafood in thick, cold butter? Da fuq?!? I enjoyed the experience, and the food has potential they may want to tweak a few things. Then, the overall experience and food would improve. read more

OMG! Where do I begin!! This was my first time here and per the reviews they did NOT disappoint! This food was soooooooo good! Super flavorful! And NICE size portions for the amount I paid! Definitely worth every penny!!! I ordered the Loaded Platter and added a Krab Cluster and an extra corn. I got the Cajun flavor which was recommended by Keke the beautifully spirited young lady who took my order. The food came out fast I didn't have to wait long at all. When I got home and tasted this platter of goodness it was like a dance party in my mouth!! the potatoes were soft and just melt in your mouth! The shrimp was scrumptious and the crab legs were delicious as well! I took a bite of the corn and just about fell out of my chair!! It was just that good!! Whew! I was very disappointed to see a credit card surcharge on my bill when I used a debit card. There was no sign saying that i would be charged and I was not informed of this random charge. The tip amount I put was on top of that charge as well- which is very frustrating when you're being nice placing a to go order and giving the person a tip but then you're charged extra because of the charge ! The food was delicious as always but I would not order the lobster again, it was very chewy and actually over cooked. You can tell it was probably frozen for a while and might've even had some freezer burn. This time the sausage was not spicy which was good because last time it was wayyyy too spicy for some reason, and we ordered the garlic sauce. We won't be back here unless I have cash which I don't have very often and that's disappointing. I will be disputing the charge because it is actually illegal to put that kind of charge on a receipt without notifying the customer and without having any signs. read more

No one answers phone. Are they open?
Yes! They are open. We had the same issue. They aren't good at their phone lines. Once you order also expect to add 20-30 min to their timeline of 'ready'. It's worth it though!
