Not our first time here, but I realized I haven't done a review on this place. The restaurant is connected to the Hilton & is both beautiful and intimate. We recently dined at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse to celebrate a girlfriend's recent nuptials, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. Our party of six decided to share a variety of dishes, including the rib eye steaks, the truffle crusted topping was totally worth it-- steaks were simply outstanding, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The sides we chose were equally impressive: the lobster mac and cheese was creamy & had great flavor, the Brussels sprouts had a wonderful char, and the potatoes au gratin were a decadent complement to our meal. While the food was certainly the highlight of the evening, I did try the French onion soup, which was decent but didn't quite live up to the high standards set by the other places. One downside was the food service; we found ourselves waiting a bit longer than expected for our meal to arrive. Additionally, while the drinks were enjoyable, they didn't pack the punch we anticipated given their price. Despite these minor setbacks, the food quality still made the occasion memorable. The staff and management were attentive throughout our dining time, our waiter Adan was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food and even managed to make us a special pomegranate sweet tea that was SO good. I would get that again. We got an appetizer of spinach and artichoke dip, entrees were an 8 oz steak and the lamb chops, with the potatoes au gratin and mushrooms as sides. I have been a loyal RC's customer in CA for the past 20+ years. But in Fort Worth I sat down at the bar to have dinner on the way back to the hotel. Ordered $150 worth of food and a glass of wine. When the food started coming out, asked where the drinks were and the bartender said to "drink some water"...like i was a child. He apparently thought it was ok to take the food order without telling me he was not going to serve drinks. Btw.. was completely fine at 6:30pm and the bar was empty! He could have just told me that from the start and i would have left and ate somewhere else. So i over tipped and went across the street to Del Frisco's. My company was hosting a 3 day training event in the Hilton attached to this location. We had a party of 8. I want to start by saying the food was great. Service at the table was very slow especially at check out. My main issue was when we entered, all was well and good but my colleague had a baseball cap on. Crystal the hostess asked him to remove his hat. He did. We have gone to many Ruth's Chris all over this country and he has never been asked to take his hat off. But he did. Just for us to walk to our table and see 2 cowboys wearing cowboy hats and another with a baseball cap on. Keep in mind all those sitting with hats are white men and my colleague happens to be black. I as a white man took offense. When I questioned the management staff as to why my friend was asked but they were OK with the others wearing them. I was told cowboy hats are ok Lol. I thought you are supposed to take your hat off at the table. What a joke. But whatever we are in TX. That make complete no sense, right??? Then she said they would ask the white guy with the base ball cap to remove it. That never happened. Matter of fact the manger walked over and closed out their check. My issue is if you have policy make sure everyone is enforced. Crystal needs some retraining on policy adherence. This was racial profiling. A black man wearing a NY Yankees cap was picked out. My husband and I went here for the first time this month. He made reservations and surprised me by taking me here for my birthday. It was an absolutely elegant experience, and I loved the loveliness of it. Our waiter's name was Adan and he was absolutely wonderful. Not only was he kind, but he was attentive, and helped to make our dining experience an absolutely positive one. There are some things we liked better than others, but we would both give our overall experience a five 5. My husband ordered the special which was a Center cut fillet with crab stuffed shrimp. He loved the crab stuff shrimp, and would give it a five. He thought the filet was perfectly done, however, he did not like the sauce that came with it. I think he would've preferred the filet by itself without the sauce. I had the fillet, creamed spinach, and garlic mashed potatoes. I honestly wasn't too crazy about my fillet, it was cooked wonderfully well, I just didn't like the flavor of it as well as I have some others before. Maybe it was a seasoning it was cooked in, I don't know, but I did like it. I really liked the bread they served and enjoyed dining on that. I was not in favor of the creamed spinach, nor was my husband, I think he thought it may have been better with some additional spices, but nonetheless, it was still prepared well. We both ate the garlic mashed potatoes and would probably give those a four. I think I prefer my mashed potatoes to be cooked without garlic, but some people may absolutely love the garlic with theirs. I did, however, really enjoy their bread and ate more than one piece of it. We absolutely LOVED the crabcakes with lemon butter sauce and thought they were DELICIOUS! We would give those a five 5 and would definitely order those again. My husband also really enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, it was very fresh and he enjoyed the cocktail sauce as well. For dessert, we had cheesecake and their cream brûlée. On a scale of one to five, I would give their crème brûlée a ten and thought it was absolutely delectable! It was so good, I would definitely order that again. I was not a fan of their cheesecake, it was not sweet enough for me, but my husband enjoyed it and actually even had some with his coffee the next morning. I also was very impressed with the fact that they had Acqua Panna available there for their customers. It is a favorite of mine and not many restaurants carry that and I was absolutely impressed and pleased. In saying all of this, we had an absolutely wonderful time and would go there again. I want to start this off by saying the food was fantastic. The goat cheese dip was phenomenal. The steaks were seasoned beautifully and cooked to the perfect temperatures. The seabass had a wonderful garlic crust to it that added a nice texture to the dish. My issues are with communication with the staff. Before we were sat, they asked my reservation name 4 times. I guess they lost it? We were sat 25 or so minutes after the reservation time. My drink came with something floating inside. The server took it back to have it fixed. When the remake showed up suspiciously quick, the same floating object was still inside. So it was the same glass, I'm thinking half poured out with extra vodka added because the drink was much lighter than before. I don't like to hound the servers, so I took the strange floaty object out that looked like wilted mint/cilantro and drank it. I did not order a second. I told the hostess it was my friend's birthday, and I told a manager it was my friend's birthday. Nothing was done, not even a birthday note on the dessert plate. The Creme brûlée was lacking. It didn't seem to be torched enough, as the sugars were still granulated and didn't have that nice crisp "glass" feeling to it. read more

My wife and I eat at RC Fort Worth fairly often, after having given up on Del Frisco's which has become overcrowded, noisy and the food has gone downhill. We went to RC last night for her birthday. The service was excellent. Our waiter was personable and efficient. Our dinners were excellent. The steaks were tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection and the shrimp were fresh and tasty. I rarely drink but had an Old Fashioned for a cocktail and it was perfect. And the ambiance is delightful, quiet enough that we could actually carry on a conversation. We came for an event, so we had a limited menu. We got the goat cheese artichoke dip for appetizer. Artichoke dip is delicious alone, but add goat cheese and it takes it over the top! Yum. The crunchy bread paired nicely. I got their filet for entree. Our sides came family style: mashed potatoes, asparagus, broccoli. The steak was so thick and tender. It was flavorful and delicious. We started out a little rocky being seated downstairs with the bit of a musty smell. We asked to be moved and they accommodated this request quickly. We moved up to the bar where we were well taken care of. Our waiter was attentive and focused a lot on our table and he did excellent. Not sure what went wrong but Ruth Chris is one of my favorite steak restaurants and we ordered 2 at our table and sent them both back. The French fries were burnt, the sweet potato casserole (another one of my faves) was hard as a rock on top & dry like a desert inside. The chopped salad (yes another fav) was not with the freshest lettuce. I don't eat shell fish so I pretty much enjoyed bread & butter with my fav drink (raspberry cosmo) and both of those were great like always. I'm always down for happy hour & Ruth Chris use to be one of my favorites. Im not quite sure anymore. I ordered the steak sandwich and a margarita off the sizzle menu. It was literally just ok. My expectation is that a steak sandwich from a steak house would be amazing and it just wasn't that.... Customer service at this location is about a 8/10. The bar area was a little busy but the gentlemen did make sure I was taken care of. Now, the bread pudding is the star of the show. The bartender told me it had apple slices in it so I was extremely hesitant because I'm weird about cooked fruit but you can't tell at all. I do think there's too many raisins in it but the flavor trumps that. Pick them out & enjoy. It's really good. 10/10 read more

I was a part of a decently large and rather unexpected group for a late evening dinner. We sat in the bar area and were welcomed generously by Sam, Joe and Richard to assist us. They made great recommendations on steak, wine and apps. They were patient and also fun with our table. Absolutely mid on everything except service. Ribeye, while cooked correctly had 0 flavor, same with fillet. Garlic Mashed potatoes had 0 garlic flavor. The food was edible but not out of this world for the pricing. I can say, the food does arrive super hot. That is a plus. When it comes to flavor, it is just not extraordinary. Do not recommend if you're looking for an upscale steakhouse. It's giving more like Chili's. We sat at the bar and no one greeted us for a least 10 minutes. Finally has to just ask if someone will take our order. Crab cakes were soggy. Bartender brought my drink spilling over the sides with no napkin. Food took over an hour to come out. Steak had good seasoning but was super stiff. Mac and cheese was more like Mac soup. Definitely won't be back, at least to the Ft Worth TX location. read more
