Overall, I like Michael's Cuisine. They have a hour cocktail menu, which is wonderful. The food was good, however I ordered the salad with the fried goat cheese (I've had it many times) and this time it was so so sooo spicy. I have no idea how or why they made the salad dressing so hot, my mouth and lips were burning for the rest of the night. I told the server it was VERY hot, so they were aware. I visited during Winter, and we sat by the fireplace, which was cozy. I'm sure I'll be back.

Great food and excellent service! The weather outside was severe, but the comfort of the atmosphere, food, and service made the night memorable. I can't wait until my next opportunity to eat there again! Would highly recommend the bacon wrapped quail appetizer.

Pecan crusted goat cheese chicken

Pecan crusted Goat cheese chicken was, no other way to describe it, disgusting. The pecans used to crust it were completely rancid. And this was after I had sent back the jalapeño shrimp TWICE because no flavor. And the lady's room was filthy and stunk. Never coming back. Expensive disappointment l.

The chicken fried steak was amazing, the pecan crusted goat cheese chicken was good but needed some extra flavor, and we enjoyed the deviled eggs. The service was good too.

The band was great though. Very nice 3 piece playing Hendrix and Stevie Ray. My server was Emeline and was helpful with my menu choices. Food and Bock style beer was good. The green beans needed to be cooked longer as they were a bit firm. Price was reasonable $25 with beer. The venue, scratch kitchen and band made this a good deal I thought.

So first the service was not great and the menu is pretty limited not what I remember from my first visit, I checked it out and the Rowlett location has a bigger and better menu not sure why every location would have the same menu. I ordered the Waygu burger medium rare with truffle fries, the burger came out medium/medium well not what I wanted but I didn't make a fuss because the server already seemed like and couldn't handle her tables, the truffle fries were really good. My friend did all like what they ordered and their food looked good too. I also had a couple beers that were both good but I was disappointed to see that they didn't have any stouts or porters on draft this time if year. The trivia night was pretty fun though we all enjoyed it and will consider going again

They had a few rooms you could reserve for a private party. They offer a brunch menu until 3pm but you can also order off their dinner menu if you so choose. Since this was our first visit we had a difficult time deciding what to have. Our waiter was very accommodating & didn't make any of us feel rushed. For our extremely picky eater the kitchen made adjustments to make sure he had an enjoyable meal. After we made our selections, I feel like our food arrived in a very timely fashion & everyone was very pleased with their selections. Their mustard seed ketchup was interesting to see but very tasty. Even our picky eater thought it was good not that he strayed from the regular ketchup! The only thing we didn't try was their whisky cake because we were too full from our meals. My wife thinks this means we should go back just for appetizers & dessert. Which of course we will plan on soon. All in all it more than deserves 5 stars. And I wish we had taken photos but we were enjoying being with the kids too much to bring our phones out. Definitely put this location on your radar, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all!

Shut up and take my money…read more Impeccable service. Staff was super helpful, over the phone answering queries about wait time and in person. The servers are very knowledgable about the food and drinks and were able to break down the mixology (my husband found a new favorite whiskey). As always, hubby asked for the dairy-based condiments to be left off his dishes, and although he has more of an intolerance than an actual allergy, the server (without being asked) consulted the chef and was able to list every dairy ingredient in every dish, down to the milk powder in the brioche. (You'd be surprised how often the staff just shrugs and has no idea what's in their own food.) I believe no matter what you order, it will be one of the finest examples of that menu item you will ever taste. We had the crab cake appetizer, prime rib and gouda stack, french onion burger, chips, fries, whiskey cake, and cocktails. My husband's old fashioned was the best old fashioned he had ever tasted. He ordered a second. The food was sublime, each menu item was either delicious or outstanding. Whiskey cake is the only item on their dessert menu because it is the only dessert you will need. It is their version of a sticky toffee pudding. It's huge. We were there for a birthday, so we were given the whiskey cake for free. I'd say the margarita was just a margarita, and the water in the fancy jug was definitely gross tap water, but every other food and drink item was perfection. The restaurant is appealing and clean inside. I am glad we were seated in one of the side porch areas where there is sunlight and fewer folks. The interior is quite dark and loud, but nothing outrageous. It's just that style of restaurant. Happy hour is weekdays 3-6, with a small selection of popular drinks for $7.

It has that fantastic Fort Worth western vibe I was looking for--perfect for a professional get-together without the stiff shirt-and-tie atmosphere. The service and drinks were spot on. Cocktails hit the table fast and were well-made. For starters, we ordered the onion rings, which were easily the biggest I've ever seen and perfectly seasoned. The elk sausages over a polenta base were also delicious and a great start to the meal. When it came to the mains, I wanted something a little different than a standard sirloin. The server recommended the skirt steak topped with a cheese enchilada. I'm normally not a huge fan of cheese enchiladas, but this one changed my mind--it was authentic and awesome. The western beans served on the side were outstanding too. We finished the night with a great red wine and a solid apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, the kitchen ran into some major consistency issues with the main course. Three people in our party of eight had to send their steaks back because they weren't cooked to the requested temperature--and one gentleman had to send his back more than once. To their credit, the front-of-house team handled it professionally; the server, manager, and even the chef came out to the table to apologize. While the service recovery was there, it definitely put a damper on the evening and felt like a strange occurrence for a Texas steakhouse of this caliber.

The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.
