We had such a great experience at On The Patio for dinner this evening! The service was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the atmosphere made it such a fun place to eat. Lots of TVs playing different sporting events and the burning fireplace made it so cozy on a cold winter evening! We tried the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, the mac and cheese, and a burger with onion rings everything came out hot, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. To top it off, we couldn't resist the funnel fries with chocolate sauce... such a tasty sweet treat to end the meal! Highly recommend! read more

It's been a while since visiting OTP and I believe that they are under new ownership. Maybe not, I'm not sure. Regardless, the place has a much different vibe. It has a much more sports bar feel that before. Lots of TVs. Staff is friendly and efficient. As a few others have noted, it can be a bit loud so if you are looking for a cozy spot to whisper sweet nothings to each other, this might not be your first choice. What made me take another look after so long was their advertised special of butter chicken a couple of nights a week. I really enjoy Indian food and there just isn't any that would be considered "nearby" to Azle. So, I took a chance. Happy to say that I have been back several times. With so many Mexican eateries around here, it's nice to see a place branching out! read more

While the food was good, our experience at the bar left a bad impression. We overheard two bartenders, one with tattoos and another wearing glasses speaking negatively about customers, including criticizing how much some people tip and discussing patrons' personal lives. We were also concerned to hear claims that extra drinks were sometimes added to tabs to increase tips. Because of this unprofessional behavior, we won't be returning to this establishment despite enjoying the food. read more

My Monte Cristo Sandwich and Sweet Potato Waffle Fries were good my partner had the Chicken Fried Steak, French Fries, and Mashed potatoes, he said the mashed potatoes were over seasoned and the steak was not as good as it could have been. The atmosphere is that of a sports bar and they could definitely use a maid service. There were dead flies and this dust in the window sills. The decoration is definitely dated and the staff, although courteous, did not bring a professional vibe at all. Don't think we will be back to On The Patio unless they do some renovations and deep cleaning. read more

On the Patio is a nice relaxing restaurant which has improved greatly in the last month or two. I suspect they have a new chef. The first time I was there I ordered a Barbecue sandwich and the only sides available were all fried. They were French fries, onion rings, and some other fried thing none of which are good for people trying to follow a healthy diet. I complained to the waitress and asked her to tell the manager or cook that those choices alone were unacceptable. The next time we visited magically there were several choices of great healthy sides. Now we enjoy their food and atmosphere. read more

Nice place, i wish it was closer, or on the lake up this way. Great crowd and kind of a TGI Fridays vibe and feel. Employees are upbeat and friendly. We ordered drinks and the person I was with went to use washroom. We were sitting by the windows, right behind the main bar by entrance, and I leaned my elbow on table. Her drink went up in the air and mine slide off the table as the table went down and back up as I took my elbow off. Glass shattered everywhere and then bartender says "oh that happens, we have to have the table leaning on the windows so they don't wobble...someone must have pulled it away" they were very nice, concerned if I was okay though to management...get those fixed please. Awesome customer service, the food was good but if you order the Azle Hornet chicken sandwich or burger, I recommend you get the sauce on the side otherwise the bun starts falling apart on you. My husband and I went to on the patio for dinner. I had a cheeseburger with french fries but there were only maybe 8 to 10 fries in the order. The cheeseburger was tasty, the fries were minimal. But what my husband ordered was supposed to be nice slice of salmon with his sides. The picture I posted is what they served as salmon. It looked like a little perch that somebody had pulled out of a tank. It also appeared to be cooked on a waffle iron. It was the nastiest piece of fish I've ever seen in my life. We both love to eat salmon, but he did not touch this as it was black and gray with waffle iron indentions. Love the wings, especially mixing the barbeque and lemon pepper seasoning together. The tenderness and juiciness of the meat just gives a 'POP' that can't be found around here, 'for me at least'. The chicken fried steaks/chickens are pretty good as well, though gave me a bit of surprise due to the gravy being underneath them, still good though. While catfish and fish aren't really my forte, friends have said that they're pretty tasty as well. Definitely going to be returning and trying their new specials. My first time coming here is what is going to keep me coming back. I came here Friday night with my mom. We ate outside on the patio because it was nice outside. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was super nice. Recommended a few things for us to try for it being our first time there. We started off with there chips, salsa, and queso. It was alright. The queso was kind of bland but if you dipped the queso into the salsa, it tasted real together. For my entree, I got the blackened salmon with mashed potatoes and a side caesar salad. The blackened salmon had a cherry glaze drizzled on top that was super delicious. Next time I'll ask for an extra side of the cherry glaze. There mashed potatoes are made right, having the skin cooked with the potatoes. The side caesar salad was your normal caesar and they have a good caesar dressing. I'm picky about my caesar but enjoyed there's. They have a nice selection of food to choose from.
