Great American food with a chill atmosphere Lake House is a great spot for classic American food and a relaxed, laid-back vibe. The food was really good -- well cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. Perfect if you're craving comfort-style American dishes done right. The atmosphere is super chill, making it a great place to hang out, enjoy good food, and just relax. It's ideal for a casual meal, whether you're with friends, family, or just enjoying the moment. Service was friendly and added to the overall positive experience. Definitely a place I'd come back to and recommend.

Popped in for a random Sunday lunch/brunch wanting outdoor seating on a beautiful day and were pleasantly surprised by the prices, quality, and views. Service was friendly and both the breakfast and regular burgers were delicious.

The Lakehouse in Fort Worth has such a good vibe. It is super chill, casual, and just a fun spot to hang out. The service was awesome too, really friendly and on top of everything without feeling rushed. We tried the fried cheese and it might honestly be the best I have ever had. Perfectly crispy outside and melty inside, just crazy good. I had a grilled shrimp taco and a buffalo chicken taco and both were full of flavor and super fresh. It is the kind of place you want to kick back, have a drink, and stay a while. Definitely will be coming back.

Visited with a group of 8 about 12:45 on a Saturday. The place was not very busy but the service was horrendously slow. Example: I ordered wings, 10 min later the waitress came to ask me if I wanted bone in or boneless. I expected my food in 10min. It took 25 min to get the first plate and 30min to get the last plate. I split 12 wings with a friend, got no extra plates. Had to ask and got 1 extra side salad plate. It's like they just don't care about service. Wings were very small, over cooked and dry. Fries not bad. Our friends had salads that looked good and I heard the burgers are good. So only 3 stars based on the wings (would have been a 2 if wings only) but the fries are good. Typical lake food, just average. If I lived on the lake and boated to this place a 4, If I drove it would be a 2. So 3 it is!

We had a great experience at The Lakehouse. We started with the mozzarella sticks and they were seriously some of the best we have ever had. They were super crispy on the outside and perfectly gooey inside. For the main course, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was delicious and had just the right amount of kick. My partner ordered a shrimp taco and a chicken taco and both were fresh and flavorful. Our waitress Renee really made the visit special. She was super bubbly, had great food recommendations, and you could tell she was working hard to make sure everyone had a good time. The ambiance here is very chill and relaxed. If you sit outside, you get a nice view of the lake which makes the whole experience even better. We will definitely be back. It is a great spot by the water with awesome service and tasty food.

We came in for an office birthday lunch. The birthday girl recommended it after coming with her family recently. Lunch crowd was not too busy on a Monday. The interior gets off divey vibes, and I can imagine it being a local hangout spot. Right by the boat docks, I'm sure it gets busy on the weekends. We started off with chips and queso which was pretty tasty. They were nice to refill our chips. I ordered the shroom swiss burger with sweet potato fries. It was good but not impressive. They are generous with their fries, both regular and sweet potato. The others got sandwiches and wings which came with a lot of fries as well. We ended with the Bubba brownie which was divine! Service was great. I didn't catch her name, but our server made sure our group was taken care of. Overall, it was a nice visit and I'm sure we'll come back again.

Great patio, right on the water. Friendly staff, great drinks, bar atmosphere, yet family friendly. Lots of TVs, pool table, live music, and great food! Chips & queso (add sausage), cod sandwich, onion rings, crispy delicious sweet potato fries, and seasonal apple cider margarita. Perfection.

In our group of 5, 4 of us were first timers at The Lakehouse. Since it was nearly 100 degrees we opted to be seated inside. Just so you know if you'd like to make a reservation in advance it must be made at least 2 weeks in advance with a minimum of 10 people. I arrived early to get on the waitlist so our wait was about 25 minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon. We tried the nachos, fish and chips, fried shrimp and chips and one grilled shrimp and chips. Our server informed us that if we ordered the fish and chips fried cod was our only option, no grilling and for grilled shrimp was available. We enjoyed everything but with the fish and shrimp plates we all commented on our teeny tiny little coleslaw servings. So tiny. We all pretty much agreed it was delicious but you are literally served a "sample" in a condiment cup. It isn't listed on the menu but they have delicious strawberry lemonade. In cooler weather I would love to go back and enjoy the lake view.

This place is right on the lake, hence the name. It has boat docks for people to get out and have lunch, but we went in there for dinner and came by car. It has a dive bar type feel, and really reasonable prices for food and drinks. I had a cocktail which was delicious, and my hubby had a lonestar. I got the fish sandwich which was so good, had lots of flavor the side of fries was good too. My husband had the fish tacos which he enjoyed. We ate inside but after, when the sun had gone down, we went and found a seat on the patio. It was busy so we were sat by the stairs furthest from the stage. A live band was playing, nice vibes but it was actually hard to hear them as the sound wasn't very loud. Our server was good but it did take forever to get our food and then later with the drinks too. If you're not in a rush and want to chill it's a cool place, I will come back and try something else.

Not a bad thing to be said about this place! The Lakehouse had been on our list of places to check out and we just never made it to that side of town. There was a little bit of a wait for the patio, but that was to be expected in a Sunday afternoon, especially when it's one of the first weekends with great patio weather! We started off with 1/2 and 1/2 fried jalapeños and pickles- they arrived quickly and were piping hot, and the ranch is homemade I ordered the jalapeño burger with battered fries and my husband got the fish and chips.I don't know what kind of fun they use but holy $#!+, it's amazing! He loved his fish and chips/ onion rings... All of the food was so good, we were kicking ourselves for not checking this place out sooner. We were far too stuffed to try desert but we will be back!

First visit here. Atmosphere was nice. Lake views. Beer here is icy cold. ( That's a plus. ) Burgers are just average in our opinion. Onion rings are really good. Desert cakes are very good. Servers are friendly, but busy. A nice place to stop for a couple of cold beverages and snacks. Not really a place for a large dinner.

Gustos Burgers N Stuff is basically a house turned restaurant and bar. You literally walk through the front door and walk through rooms. They also have a nice backyard turned into a large patio. Customer service was great. You order at the counter and when your food is ready they'll bring it out to you. The food menu is pretty small and simple. They have one starter which are the jalapeno poppers. It's your standard popper but they elevate it by glazing it with salted brown sugar honey butter. It is really good. I'm usually not big on sweet and savory combos but this works and packs just the right amount of heat. Burgers is their game. Smash burgers to be exact and the best variety in my opinion. They have 4 meat options as well as an Impossible Burger option. They come in single, double or triple meat and the price varies according to what you pick. First time here so I had to go with just a regular smash burger which is the Gusto Burger. I can't remember if I went double or triple, but either choice is good as one thin patty is never the move with a smash burger. It comes with American cheese (the only right cheese for burgers), caramelized onions, their house sauce and pickles. It comes on a buttered toasted bun which held up nicely to all the toppings. This burger was outstanding. I would put it up there as one of the best smash burgers I've had. Everyone in our party agreed. I went with tots for my side and it was a very generous portion that was cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. I washed it down with a local beer from their nice selection of draft beers. They also have a nice variety of bottled drinks as well as cocktails. I am glad we randomly found this spot in Fort Worth because it was a solid spot to quench our thirst and fill our bellies. I will most definitely be back when in the area.

Right by TCU so it's obviously the place to go for a good smash burger that is reasonably priced for what it is. Service is kind and we got our food fast enough. The tables turn quickly but they basically have no time to wipe them down. I always love the Maine root soda selection. The smash burger is absolutely soaked in grease. That's even with two patties! As someone who loves a good smash burger more than a gourmet burger, I couldn't even finish it and felt a lil queasy. And I eat everything. The tater tots felt just as unhealthy and oily. It definitely feels like a place to use burgers to soak up the booze. Perfect if you're in college and when your metabolism can handle anything. If not, I'd recommend skipping it.

They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience. The onion rings were just okay. They and the chicken tenders felt like the only items that went straight from freezer to fryer, which stood out compared to how fresh everything else tasted. If I had one suggestion to take this place to the next level, it would be to offer a true build-your-own burger option with a full list of ingredients. They were very accommodating when it came to customizing their "designer" burgers, but having full control would make the experience even better. Also, while the burger meat was good, it tasted like it was cooked on a flat top. There is nothing wrong with that, but a flame grilled option with a bit of smoke and char would push these burgers into elite territory. Overall, great burgers, great vibe, and great service, with just a couple of tweaks away from being exceptional.
