The Smashburger and Cajun fries were excellent, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. While there wasn't much personalized service to speak of, the food and drinks arrived promptly and without issue.My biggest complaint was paying $7 for a beer that wasn't poured full. During our visit, I noticed several beers served the same way. I'm not sure if it was a tap system issue, poor pouring technique, or an attempt to squeeze a little extra profit out of each keg, but it was disappointing. Maybe I'm speaking too soon, but at these prices for this area, I honestly don't see how this place will make it. The drinks are SO expensive. You seat yourself, then have to order your food and drinks through an app, so the experience isn't very personable. No one really checks on you, and after you're served, you're still expected to tip as if you received full table service when you're essentially ordering everything yourself. They appeared to be pre-packaged and heavily pre-breaded, resulting in a mushy texture with very little of the crispness you would expect from properly fried pickles. Fink's Backyard in Springtown is a cool, laid-back spot with pretty good food and a chill vibe. The catch? It's not really a full service restaurant--you seat yourself, order on your phone through a barcode, also pay on yourphone, and someone just magically delivers your food which is served takeout style instead of actual plates and silverware. And then... they still expect a full-service tip. Feels like tipping a robot. Good for casual eats, but not my favorite. read more

I have to give a star to leave a review. Service was horrible a lot of standing around. Took a few minutes to get it server to come over. The place is not busy. When I did get a server to come over I ordered a beer and then I had to wait until she come back by to get a menu. The menu had no prices on it. Order the crabcakes, came out and looked good. But ice cold in the center. The manager come over as I spit the food out and ask if anything is wrong. I told her and she asked if she could give me something else. I ordered fried cheese curds. When they come out, it was like they were double fried a very greasy. However, when I did get my tab, I was only charged for the two beers. However, there was an extremely drunk and rude patron at 4:30pm shouting, being loud and obnoxious while everyone else in the dining room is trying to enjoy their meal. This is a MUCH NEEDED establishment! Super fun vibe, love the indoor/outdoor concept. We went where there was no music booked - bummer but the food was fantastic. Felt it was over priced 1 kids hamburgerand fries. One regular burger and fries and two tea's was $40. You order off of a QR code. Staff never came back to check on see if we needed any refills or anything. About 98% of the tables on the patio are super short. That experience was my first time there. I was unfamiliar with the fact you needed to order a side of ketchup to go with your fries. i was a little peeved about that. Hubby and I decided to give it another try. This time we sat at the bar. The bartenders looked up the price of a drink I was thinking of ordering. After finding out the price was a bit higher than expected, I ordered something else. The bartenders went above and beyond to find me something similar to what I wanted at a better price. i was blown away by their efforts. I ordered the swiss mushroom burger. Now, this was Great. This burger will be a siren song in my dreams making me want to return again and again. Even my hubby admitted that I out "Whataburgered" his order. His order was a different hamburger. My husband and I went to Finks Backyard today with our two kids and were immediately impressed with the service and the ambiance. the host was so sweet and made sure to make us aware of their ordering and seating process. The drinks and food were fantastic and our kids loved playing in the kids area.
