Well, This is Flip. Misty, the bar manager, apparently barred me for life. I did absoposituvely nothing wrong, and truly I do not know why she hates me so much. At 1:45am, November 20th, 2018, she felt my military coin bothered her so much that she decided to ban me from the bar she works at for life. I wish I knew why when she drinks, she hated me so much, and tonight she was the bartender. Go figure. My only guess is tgat she does not truly undersand the Constitution of our United States of America. Specifically, the First Amendment, which basically states, that any and all Americans can say anything they want, to anyone they want to, when every they want to, or wherever they want to. Unfortunately, Misty vilated my Constitutional Rights when she forced me to leave, and Banned me for life. I am ARMY, and all good. I just wish someone could educate Misty into to US Constitutional Rights, so she stops violating other Human Beings who live in this great Nation. Thank you for reading/listening my words. Absolutely love this little bar. Great people great owners always good service and great bands. Looks a little rough on the outside but very nice in the inside. And prices are very reasonable! Go visit this place you won't be unsatisfied read more

We were charged a $10 cover per person on a Saturday night to listen to a band that was absolutely horrendous. That's all good and well, but the woman at the door taking cover stopped charging literally 2 minutes after we walked in. She stated that the band would be playing for another 1.5 hours so we had to pay. Absolutely ridiculous and unethical. I think she just wanted to make money off of our group of 10 people in our 30's. This place is older than Methuselah. Been remodeled couple times over the years. If you like old bar, low hanging smoke, noisy it's your place. Overall very safe. Is convenient to FTW and Weatherford. Regular crowd and few strays. read more

I would frequent this bar occasionally because it is so close to my house. Now you couldn't pay me to visit this sexist and seemingly racist bar. I got a little sick after playing pool and had my head down, the bartender told me I couldn't sleep and needed to leave so I gave her the money for my tab, I was waiting for my card when she came back over and let me know it was closing time and I let her know I was still waiting for my card. After I got my card I left. I came back New Year's Eve to visit once again and was held off and then told that I would need to speak to Diane, the bartender on the night that I was not feeling well. I was turned away and planned to speak to Diane. When I called a couple weeks later, Diane answered and told me that I had done that multiple times and she can't have that. Well I hadn't done that multiple times I told her. She argued with me and told me they had cameras. I asked her if I could see them if it was a problem and she got irate and told me that I was arguing with her and another bartender. She ended the conversation by hanging up on me. I'm not sure why this bar dislikes me so much as to lie on me to my face as if I was too drunk to remember when I was sick and not feeling well. I have supported this business for over 20 years since I have lived here for almost 30 and cannot believe the disrespectful, unprofessional and hateful way I was treated. I had doubts and indecisive thoughts on coming in here as soon as we parked after reading the sign that says "girls" because it's near one of Camp Bowie's strip clubs. But when somebody came out and I can clearly see behind him thru the wide open door, I was convinced it isn't one of those nasty places ( you can tell I've been to one). The smell of smoke here is not as bad as other divey places where patrons don't care and newbies have no say about it. It was bearable. HH prices are pretty sweet and bar tenders are attentive and nothing to complain about. Bar manager came out to say hi and shook our hands and welcome us to his bar ( I just can't remember his name, I'm on my 3rd drink now). People have raved about the food, maybe one day I'll come back for that but right now I'm just trying to know and learn my way around here. One week in and I'm truly impressed about everything! !( except of course about the smoking, Dallas got me spoiled on this part.) Would definitely check this place back again for the food. read more

Ive been coming to the Finish Line for quite a while . I enjoy playing in the pool tournaments on the weekends. Being an older single lady it is important for me to feel safe when I go out alone, everyone makes you feel like part of the family. Staff is nice, burgers and fries are to die for, restrooms are always clean, huge dance floor, parking lot needs help but the owner is sweet and is trying hard to make it happen. Not a horrible place. I thought Uncle Jesse and the Duke boys would fit in quite well. Very quaint little place. The drinks were a little pricey for a Tuesday night, but doable. The parking lot was a little to be desired. They had a live band, which was nice. But due to the drink prices and the older crowd, don't think I'll be going back. read more
