Ever since Bennigan's went out of business I've missed their Monte Cristo and Turkey O'Toole so bad. My sister-in-law recommended Boomer Jacks and said they had these exact same dishes. Nostalgia took me here, and Lo and behold it's the EXACT SAME. I'm so happy. They don't call it the Turkey O'Toole here, but there's no difference. I've only tried the Monte Cristo, but husband confirmed the other. I'll try it next. I go to one of the new Boomer Jacks in Katy Texas. I got a hotel in Fort Worth specifically because it's beside it. Not very impressed. The atmosphere was not as upbeat and the layout was more confining. Bar area has windows on one side instead of a fully open bar which felt strange in a way. Then when I mentioned we got an appetizer they tried to bring it out with our food. I declined since we already had our food. This whole time waiting for the food we only got checked in on once. Recently I got delivery from this location. Got a brisket queso, The Pretzel Club, and a Philly Cheesesteak. Thw brisket queso held up pretty good. Next time will ask for the brisket on the side. Had sunk to the bottom.of the queso by the time we got home. The Pretzel Club was alright. For how much it cost, I expected it to have more meat on. A slice of turkey, a slice of ham and a piece of cheese for 15 dollars was not enough. I was very disappointed with what came on it. Tasted good very not happy about what it came with. Had sweet potato fries extra crispy for my side. Those were good. My sisters Philly Cheesesteak was decent. We didn't get the ashju sauce. So her sandwich was dry. She got mac and cheese for her side and she enjoyed it. I gave 3 stars because everything was mostly just ok. Ugh, I was looking for Texas Roadhouse since I saw it on Yelp, but they're not open yet. I made the mistake of not checking the Yelp reviews and went to Boomer Jack's next door. MISTAKE. ( insert game show buzzer here) I ordered the Buffalo chicken flat-bread. Roll 25 minutes later... Someone other than my server delivers the flat-bread. Lift up one corner, and the entire entree lifts up. Chicken cold, cheese not melted, flat bread cold. The reason for the extra star is for server Brittni and the Mule drink. I thought with all the cars in the parking lot that this place would be on par but sadly . Texas Roadhouse will put this place out of business once they open.. Ps. Aggressive server, we closed out, and paid and our server demanded our tab to see how much we tipped 2 times. First drink we ordered was not correct, we then asked for the ingredients to make it ourselves. After asking for the ingredients, she says are you being sarcastic. Don't let the crazy wrap around parking fool you. There's plenty and always available seating inside. Of course, times are busiest when games are going on, but it can also be a fun and lively vibe when everyone is cheering on for their team. Despite the hoopla and hype around game time, this is a nice change of pace for what's available around the Lake Worth area. Besides Cheddars and B-Dubs, there's not been much more to chose from in awhile. The restaurant's overall enviroment is airy and spacy, family friendly, as well as drawing a fun bar crowd. TV's line the perimeter with one giant TV hovering and showcasing the bar area. There are plenty of HH specials everyday, all day - plus daily specials to boot. M-F there are lunch specials and small bar bites that are worth coming in for too. I love their Bloody Mary's and Monte Cristos here! It's not the trendiest of spots or my first pick to eat at, but when I do, the service, drinks, and service is usually pretty good. New in the area. Really wanted this place to be the bomb. Love the atmosphere. When your team scores it erupts. Love the energy. The food on the other hand is not the greatest. Cold and lacks flavor. Chicken wings bone-in or boneless have no meat on them and flavor is lacking. The cheddar burger was ok but their fries suck. The bartenders are pleasant enough but one kept flipping her hair around. As far as Boomerjacks goes, the food is consistent with their other locations. Good bar food, better than a Chilis or similar type of bar and grill. If you like watching sporting events, this location has an awesome setup. Lots of TVs with nothing obstructing the views. Open style concept with beer garden style seating with large tables. Suzanne was wonderful waitress! Great customer service and as busy as she was, she always had time to check on us. They are extremely busy as of 5pm on a Wednesday however it's their second day to be open. Parking was easy, atmosphere is great with a super open concept, food was delicious and the drinks were yummy. I suggest the brisket nachos and beach breeze.
