Stopped by The Poop Deck in the middle of the afternoon when it wasn't very busy. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the relaxed atmosphere. Our waitress didn't seem very happy--no smile, no small talk, just came over, took our order, and left. It felt a bit cold, although it's possible she was just having an off day. On the positive side, the food was solid. The chicken tacos were flavorful, and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich hit the spot. Stopped in for a quick bite at lunch time. Place was not crowded, but the vibe was awesome. Sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and attentive. Great food, wonderful staff, and excellent management! We held a 50th class reunion (Fort Worth Paschal) at the Poop Deck on a Friday in April 2024 for 175 classmates. The owners, Bert and Maya Adams, were wonderful to work with over the year leading up to the reunion, helping us walk through each step of the evening's plans. We had two dinner buffets set up and we heard nothing but good things about all the food items, especially the pulled pork sliders! The management brought in plenty of staff to work both the restaurant and the bar sides and things went very smoothly. They allowed us to use the stage and sound system to make announcements and we used a large bar top table to set out all the name tags. We cannot give enough compliments to the staff and management of the Poop Deck on Bluebonnet Circle for helping us put on a memorable 50th reunion Friday night! read more

Went to have the chicken fried steak after I read the Bud Kennedy review. Steak batter was thick and extra crispy while meat was tender and easy to cut. Gravy was good but needed more pepper IMO. Loved the mashed potatoes and green beans were yummy. We raved about the ice cold beer in frozen schooners and ended up taking two slices of the cake home for dessert. Will definitely go back. My only negatives, cold/breezy inside so you might want to bring a jacket and service slow until the end. I'd still recommend. read more

Horrible service. I got in, but they denied my 22 year old friend... used to be a fun place. Ruined.

Horrible just horrible. Stay far away and pick any bar other than this one. Walked in no bouncer or anything. Walked to a table sat down and then got told by the bartender for our group to show our ids. No problem all of us 21+. All of a sudden got told we have fake ids. Keep in mind the bartender accepted an out of state ID and denied another one (from the same exact state) on the basis that she wasn't aware of the new ID format. Then the bouncer followed us out aggressively, shouting and was very disrespectful. We were nothing but respectful. I REPEAT STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BAR!!!! read more

Was anxious to check out new location last Wednesday afternoon....daughter and I walked in sat down.. No one ever came to acknowledge our presence... We decided to go to other side.. We were told, by bearded man behind bar, ... Will be with you in a bit.... 15 mins later still no service....we waited while he counted cards by register, still no service, we left and went to newly remodeled Fuzzys..service was fast with lots of people.. They had no problems serving us. Lol, today's mail had a coupon for buy one meal get 50% off / 2nd meal for Poop Deck... Trust not worth it!! If they couldn't wait on us when we were only ones there...just imagine the cluster mess of people showing up with coupons expecting to get served... Terrible service!! Sadly was a poop experience!! Went to The Poop Deck a week or so ago and ordered the Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburger(which was AMAZING!) and my husband got the Southern Fried Catfish, which he also enjoyed. We had the sweetest and most charming waitress we have seen in a long time! I think her name was Jacqueline, also she had a sister working with her as a bartender who was just as sweet and amazing as her! Great atmosphere, we will be back very very soon! read more
