Nostalgia took me here, and Lo and behold it's the EXACT SAME. I'm so happy. They don't call it the Turkey O'Toole here, but there's no difference. I've only tried the Monte Cristo, but husband confirmed the other. I'll try it next. The ambiance is similar to BWW, and the service is great. It's not quiet by any means, so be prepared for some noise. Our server was attentive and nice. We will be back many times.

The atmosphere was not as upbeat and the layout was more confining. Bar area has windows on one side instead of a fully open bar which felt strange in a way. So disappointed in this place! The oyster was so overdressed with 99% of parm cheese that you…read morewouldn't even know that there was an oyster in there. The wings were so dry and overcooked that the meat retracted from the bones. The dog bites were okay I guess. The place feels like a concern if a fire broke out due to how close all the tables are to each other. And that part that hurts my heart the most is when I am put in the position of not leaving a good tip( I'm a great tipper 99% of the time) but when the server caters to the men at the table and not the women, that's where I save my extra money for the ones that are actually neutral to all at the table. Definitely will NOT be returning!!

So let me start right off by saying that lakeside grills like The Anchor are in their own category…read moreand I don't directly compare them to more landlocked establishments. You come here for a specific vibe and that vibe does not conform to typical restaurant standards. So do with that information, what you may. The ambiance is probably the best of any lakeside establishment I have been to so far, garage doors open the dining room up to fresh air and sun. The only downside is that the marina building block most of the beautiful view. The menu was full was creative names that make you giggle as you read them. We started the fried floaters (fried pickles) and fried ritos (fried burritos) to start. Both were good the fried Rito's were reminiscent of all famous burrito, although not quite that good still delicious although they were quite large. I was expecting something that looked more like an egg roll and these were full-size burritos so keep that in mind before ordering. For my main course, I had the Tom's classic burger, was a little disappointed as it was less flavorful and a little bit drier than I expected it to be. The fries and everything else were great. We skipped dessert this time. The staff were all very polite and professional, overall I liked this place I probably won't go back just because of the distance. I gave it four stars because of the burger quality. Also FYI, like many lakeside grills, they still allow smoking at this particular establishment so be aware, in case that's something that bothers you.

We gave her our drink and food order together. We got our food very late and did not get our drinks (including water)until afterwards. I saw our drinks sitting at the bar at least 10-15 minutes before. I ordered a schooner of beer for husband and it was about 80% full. The rest of the customers got a full schooner. This really irritated my husband because it was Father's day. She blamed it on the "computer system".Sad that one server could do this much negative impact on a restaurant. We tipped way better than we should have, not sure we'll be back based on this server. We paid our bill shortly after eating and it was 12:25pm.

June is Pride month and they were proud! I wish I had taken pictures of all the Pride decor they had both inside and out (they have a large patio). It was very festive! They describe themselves as "casual, trendy, and LGBTQ+ friendly". Their patio is dog friendly. They also have music bingo on Sunday evenings and that sounds fun! Our server was great! I wish I remembered her name. She handled everything well - indecision, shared meals, lots of cocktails, etc. We did have to order from the brunch menu, but there were plenty of non breakfast options. We all enjoyed our cocktails - and our food. I ordered the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit. It was good, but could have been better. The chicken was overcooked. And there was not enough honey. I would also recommend they use hot honey because that stuff is good! It was all just a little dry. It came with a side so my husband chose the side salad. A Relaxing Lakeside Experience with Great Food & Service…read moreThis was our second visit to this quaint seat-yourself restaurant. With indoor seating, a cozy patio, and tables on the lawn, we chose the latter for a peaceful view of Lake Worth lake. The setup creates the perfect backdrop, complemented by a refreshing breeze. Both times we've been, there was live music--this time, karaoke--which made for a fun atmosphere. Service started off slow, but thanks to Trisha, our waitress, the experience was completely turned around. She was attentive, friendly, and truly saved the day by quickly taking care of us, after we had waited quite a while. Her warmth and efficiency made the visit extra special. As for the food, we went with our usual--the three-piece catfish basket, which comes with French fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw. Everything was fresh and delicious. The margaritas were just as enjoyable! After dinner, we took a short walk down to the edge of the bluff overlooking the lake and relaxed on a nearby bench, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful evening. Highly recommend this spot for its views, laid-back vibe, and good food!Would definitely return.

From the vibe I got walking inside I already knew it was gonna be authentic and satisfy my taste buds so I knew I had to get a few items (which I ate all myself, no crumbs left behind). The ambiance was very loud however and it was hard to have a conversation with my friend, but other than that the food absolutely smacked. The chicken was perfectly battered and fried and was juicy perfection. The red velvet waffle is a MUST to elevate the sweetness. They also had a strawberry and pecan flavor which I also wanted to try - and I will next time. More restaurants need those options!! The chicken sandwich was seasoned well, better than other places for sure. The Mac could've used a little more salt, but it was good. And oh man the French toast was bombbb especially for my sweet tooth I couldn't believe they offered that. It was very aesthetic inside but it was crowded (probably because it was a weekend night too I should mention) but I'll come back on a week day so I could get a little more room to enjoy my food. Fantastic place for chicken though, I would recommend it, no hesitation!!
