Buffalo Wild Wings is a restaurant chain that provides a great gameday atmosphere. Honestly, I don't come here for the food (especially the wings), but if I want to enjoy a game with a crowd BW3 makes my list. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Return) Atmosphere - Buffalo Wild Wings leans into the sports theme pretty heavily. There are TVs all over the walls. If you're looking to watch a game, there's a 90% chance it will be on TV. If it's not, just ask. I made my visit during the World Cup and NBA Finals, and our section was pretty full. Speaking of which, BW3 appears to have one section with bar height seats and tables and another is standard height. 1 Star. Service - I read many of the 1 Star Reviews, and they all complained about the service, but I've never had bad service here. Upon entering, the host/hostess asked how many were in our party and then directed us to a seat with a perfect view of the game. Then we met our server, who was very friendly, attentive, and always smiling. We felt very welcome and never had any issues with getting help, even as our section was getting crowded due to the NBA Finals on TV. 2 Stars. Food - Ok, I don't like the food here. I come for the atmosphere, the wings are over sauced, and all the appetizers are fried. That being said, their Cheesesteak was decent (cheese + beef always a good combo), and the toasted roll held it all together, but it was the only thing that was good. Even the desserts couldn't wash away the taste from everything else. Wings may be in the name, but I'm not a fan. No Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I don't come here for the food. BW3's great for watching sports and cheering for (or against) the teams on TV. It's a fun experience and is cheaper than going to the game in person. We came here after ordering food to go for Super Bowl. It was on a Sunday afternoon so there were not many folks at the restaurant. We were served by Dayris and she did a wonderful job. We had the Mango Habanero Wings (crispy) and the Hatch Chili Burger. Everything was delicious. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. Went here on my lunch break and wasted my time. I sat down in the bar section and began catching up on some work related items. Never once greeted when multiple employees walked by me. No water, no "I'll be right with you sir". They do understand it's lunch time right, people are on a time frame. I will not be coming back here again. I walked in to pick up a to go order for a customer's DoorDash order and walked in with a lady and her young son and at least 3 more people walked in shortly after we did and we all had to wait at least 10 minutes to be greeted or helped. The service was five stars! I think our waitresses name was Skyler and she was super friendly, helpful and attentive. The wings were good, but there's got to be some way to know what sauce you like without ordering a new sauce every time and finding out you don't like what you order. The wings also stay well in the fridge as we took ours home and ate it the next day. They are great at helping you find a tv for the game you're watching and putting it on wherever you're sitting. This location is the absolute worst. We went to go watch nba playoffs and eat all you can eat wings. First off, the wings were colder than Antarctica. They did not seem fresh and hot. Same as about 4 years ago, didn't have any servers for the side to the left with mostly low tops, everything was by the bar area. No biggies found a table . Our table had been cleaned off and pretty far underneath the chair my son went to sit at he saw some thing and noticed it was a $20 . Before we could address to him what to do about it , he being 10, was ecstatic and pretty much announcing to everyone in our area (it seemed like). One waiter that was right behind us , sees what's going on and grabs it from kid and claims that it was his and tucks it away. Not long after it's another waitress that started to serve us . Not sure if they switch who serves what table around but , seems like it would have been hers ??? And the male took it. Anyway she was polite the entire time , but very slow at everything . There wasn't hardly anyone in our section (restaurant period). The Pepsi Zero tasted like coke root beer. The mozz sticks took forever to arrive . While eating them, the male that took the $20 , said our food was about ready to come out and my husband said she hadn't even taken the food order yet . He tried to save face and say it must be theirs then , speaking about a 2 top and said oh she said she would take the order after the mozzarella sticks came out . She was quick to ask husband is he wanted to have another beer , but she never asked about my soda and every time I tried to ask nearing the end of the visit , she'd ask one question, get the one answer from one person and run off . I wasn't she one she was asking . Oh and I hadn't mentioned that we ordered 30 wings and she brought one ranch cup for 20 that were hot. This left a partial ranch cup from mozz sticks and one small one for 30 wings . I did get to ask for that and she brought three more fairly quickly. After ticket paid, I pretty much had to be very assertive to get my first refill ( considered the food had to be washed down ) . She brought 3 to go's. Bathroom wasn't terrible . Not sure what some small spots were in handicapped stall , but I've seen worse elsewhere. No TP laying all over the floor. No pungent smells. My hubby seems to think it was likely a tip that had fallen. I told him someone would have had to rack up at least a $100 tab to get 20% tip and I don't see how based on our service that happened likely soon after , would have earned that. I shared my beer and food at the bar with Nats, fruit flys..., You know how it goes--bars and restaurants are filled with syrupy liqueurs, sweet fruits and sticky sodas, making them the perfect fruit fly magnet. Regularly cleaning the bar from top to bottom, without active prevention, fruit flies will likely find their way into your establishment. My BarTender, Tikka was cleaning the bar as I entered. Since 2019 since I moved here from the Chicago area Inhave come here andI have had several occasions on long waits and food being cold. I have always seen a high turnover of bartenders. The bartenders are not that social, but the current ones as of today are very good including the Matthew McConaughey looking dude. He always seems like he cares about you and good social skills. The Reggie White looking dude seems down to earth and I like him too. I come here more often because I am a Valley Ranch resident and I work in Irving, but I do like Grapevine location a ton more. When he wasn't waiting on us, he was standing at the bar, hunched over on his phone, which ended up to be a common theme that night with two other servers doing the same thing while waiting for drinks. This was post-run for me so I was ravenous and willing to eat anything, the grilled tenders were coated in salt and burnt on the bottom (I could barely cut through with a fork and knife). The menu didn't mention anything about a seasoning (I got medium sauce on the side) so this was a surprise. Really, he just seemed apathetic along with the rest of the staff. We got a takeout dinner, and even the 15 minutes I waited in the restaurant was more than enough time to form a negative opinion. If you can make the lunch special there are some great deals available that will provide you with wings + fries + dipping sauce for a reasonable price. If you don't grab a special , you're stuck with overpriced wings, overpriced fries and people charging almost $3 for a soda. Although I absolutely love their spicy garlic wing sauce, and their medium is a good solid wing, I just don't like spending $8 per person for tiny bites of mid-grade chicken. Hubby likes their teriyaki and sweet BBQ, but even he says they aren't "shout from the rooftops" great. Been to this location a few times and the waitress Val is great. She's very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The tacos on Wednesday's are amazing and I love the Parmesan flavored wings. The liquor is a hit and miss depending on who the bartender is There's plenty of TVs in there to watch any game especially the NBA playoffs since it's that time of the year. The crowd is ehh! If I want to interact with a more diverse type of people then I'll probably head to Addison for that or another location.
