I've been to Boomer Jack's 3 times now. The first 2 times were ok...some issues with incorrect orders but all was worked out. Each was about a 3.5 star visit. Decent waiting staff and decent food. Love the tons of tvs and channel options. Nice patio seating and firepit. This time when we went, it took me weeks to write this review...mainly because I've still been in shock over what all happened. I won't go into full detail, but it wasn't a good experience. The waitress didn't just accidentally mess up my order, she forgot it completely. Oops, right? Typically one apologizes and fix it. After everyone else receiving their orders, and multiple followup of being told my order was just taking a bit longer due to the kitchen, and then everyone else finishing their food...I instructed the waitress to just have my order wrapped to-go. This went on for awhile...and then a different person brought out my order and it wasn't wrapped to-go. I think you get the picture by now...it's was chaos. Did i tell you that the restaurant was not busy? Not many tables of people inside or out. Well...it didn't stop there. We ended up having a "manager" inform us that the waitress was so upset she was in tears. Then we were told the waitress had to go home because she was so upset. Then we were told my meal would be free (meal was still not wrapped to go). Where I'm going with all of this was I've had bad food before...and bad service before...and bad experiences before, but I've never had a manager try to lay a guilt trip on a customer for their restaurant not providing food/service. My food was finally wrapped and I did take it home. I also left a tip...just a standard tip. Too bad the waitress didn't just come clean up front and fix things. Too bad the "manager" didn't come forward and be accountable, take ownership of the situation. Turns out their pizza tasted really good. But I was so embarrassed with their management that I probably will not return. read more

We had a great experience overall at the restaurant. You can't beat the environment. Our server, Bianca, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, & really made us feel welcome. The food was also delicious. Everything came out just the way we hoped. The only drawback was the long-haired manager who was cleaning the table next to us; she sprayed us a couple of times while wiping it down. WARNING - Waitress Adds $2 Tip to my bill after I signed it - Credit Card Fraud, Theft and possible other crimes. The manager says it was a mistake? This is outrageous conduct for a business and for the Manager, Oscar. to condone it makes me question what else is going on with this business behind the scenes. On this day last week, I had the worst waitress in history. She was rude, uncaring, lazy, just talking to her friends and other waitresses, literally sitting in another section at a table talking with friends, totally neglecting her tables. Delivered my food with no silverware or napkins, did not check on tables. The guy next to me complained to me that this waitress is so bad. She acted as if giving service was not her job. I had to stop another waitress and ask her to go tell my waitress that I wanted to order and had to point out my waitress, Talynn, who was sitting way across the restaurant in the bar area talking and laughing with friends. This other waitress went over and pointed to me and told her I needed help. Talynn just looked irritated, looked at me and continued to sit and talk for another 5 mins. I wanted to get up and leave, but did not want to walk out on my bill. She finally came over, threw some napkins on the table. After another 10 mins, I stopped a manager and asked if she could get me another drink since my waitress could not be found. I intentionally lined out the tip line and left No Tip. Since Talynn had such a negative attitude. From the angry looks I got from her, I suspected she might alter my bill, so I made a note of the total The next day and spoke to the head manager, Oscar and expressed what a bad experience I had. He was nice, apologized and said he would address it. Two days later my bill showed two dollars more than my receipt. I knew a Fake and Fraudulent TIP had been added. I called to speak to Oscar. He was off that day and another manager pulled my bill and said she would remove the $2 tip, and she would let Oscar know. I never got a call. Fast forward a week, I go into Boomers and ask for Oscar. He came over, very nice, very apologetic and said it was a mistake, he talked to Talynn and she had accidentally switched a two dollar tip from another customer and put it on my card by mistake. He told me he would pick up my food tab and lunch was on him. That was very nice, I told him he did not have to do that. My bill came and I was only charged for Iced Tea, $3 and I left a $5 tip. The fact that Talynn was mad and angry that I had to get another waitress and a manger to help me and then accidentally add $2 tip, I don't believe this and if this can happen so easy, how often does it happen and how many people are getting ripped off and don't know it. This appears to me to be flat out fraud, forgery and possible counterfeiting, since my credit card bill total was changed after I signed it. This should be a no go item for any legitimate restaurant or business. Although the manager was very nice, his justifying this as a mistake implies he condones it and sends a message to others that they change their tips, rip off customers and IF they get caught they can just claim it was a mistake. I think this is criminal acts and I would file a police report, but for $2 theft and they refunded it, it would just be a waste of time for everyone. So they get away with it again? I will not be going back or spending my money here. If I have to check and watch my receipts everytime I eat at a place, it is not worth going there. I would suggest you either use Cash or double check your credit cards billing. If they are making mistakes adding tips, they are probably making mistakes adding extra drinks to your bill or ignoring food safety or any number of things. If I was the owner of this business, I would not be happy if this behavior is condoned and my customers are being ripped off by mistakes. I know some will say it is only two bucks, but if you add that up everyday for 100s of customers, how much is being stolen over a month or a year by mistakes? read more

It was packed on a Saturday night! Perfect ambiance and energy for a sports bar with all walls lined with buzzing TVs. We were surprised to see Happy Hour drink specials on a Saturday. Their house margarita with Grand Marnier floater was pretty good and very reasonably priced. Chicken quesadillas were good with fresh bell peppers. Southwest salad was fresh and crisp. The quanities are large and prices very reasonable. Even though we were full, we could not resist the molten chocolate cake, which was a perfect ending! I would say that this restaurant has above average to very good sports bar food. Every item we ordered was just what we had in mind when it arrived, which is a huge complement to a casual sports bar restaurant. The jumbo pretzel and the skillet queso were both very very tasty, and the pretzel was especially well crisped and soft at the same time. I personally had boneless wings with a dry rub and they were prepared nicely as far as flavor, spice and crispness. Other meals at the table were California Ranch Chicken, Southwest Eggrolls and Buffalo Chicken Wrap. None were standouts, but all were good. We also had a kids Mac 'n cheese for the 2 1/2 year old. While all this is positive, where this place stood out was the way they treated a family with four adults, a toddler and a newborn. They sat us in an area with enough space for the stroller that the newborn was sleeping in. The server saw the group and jumped right to taking orders, including the mac' n cheese brought out as soon as possible, because we all know a 2 1/2 year old does not always have the attention span to wait for a casual meal, especially when he is hungry. Of course the pretzel helped with that as well. Server Olivia was attentive throughout and also got us the check quickly to make our escape. We also take some personal responsibility for being able to get good service, arriving very early in the dinner timeframe so that we could have space and the attention of a server. Our server was great. She was attentive and friendly. The food was marginal at best. I ordered Chicken wings, white cheddar Mac and cheese, and Mozzarella cheese sticks. 2021 we moved from California to Texas we didn't know anybody here and we found this place that made us feel like being close home (Cali vibe) that we enjoyed going there almost everyday for 14 months to the point that we made all the bar tenders friend's at the time everyone knew us and they were so happy to see us . So last night 10/04/2025 after 3 years of being gone we were in town and were so excited about being back to boomerjack thinking the costumer service will be the same but to our surprise it wasn't it! There were two bartenders at the bar one African American girl who was very nice and polite to us, but the other one was a white girl 10:30pm who was so rude, with a very nasty attitude and seems to be annoyed very time we ask her for something to the point that we decided to leave. read more

I got take out twice. The first time I got a Southwestern chicken salad, which I actually liked quite a bit. It was large, with fresh ingredients and a creamy dressing with lots of cumin. They did not skimp on the chicken or any of the other extras. The second time, I got fajita chicken quesadillas, which were a bit bland and dry, but again a big portion (classic Texas). The actual experience of ordering the food was not great. Both times, there was a lot of background noise on the phone, and I had a hard time hearing the person taking my order. The second time, somebody told me they were going to grab my phone when I came in for pick up, but they then forgot about me for 15 minutes and I finally had to ask someone else. It was hard to get anyone's attention. The food is ok and the prices are reasonably for the quantity. The inside space looks decent with lots of big HD TVs. I probably would look elsewhere for food unless I had my heart set on watching a game on the biggest TV I could find. Been to Boomer Jack's a couple of times now for Happy Hour and the food is good and beers are cold... My only knock would be the wait staff seems to be preoccupied with the "regulars" so you may have to wait longer for your glass to get refilled or for another round while the waitress is sitting at another table. It doesn't really bother me, because I know regulars are there and probably tip well so it's not a huge issue, but for my buddy who was with me, it was a big deal. He felt like we were being ignored lol. Great atmosphere to watch a game or even people watch. Like I said the food was good and not too expensive. Great place to people watch too.
