This is becoming a preferred happy hour spot for us. The staff and atmosphere are both relaxed. Just what I am looking for. They typically have R&B playing at a reasonable volume, so you can enjoy it while still hearing yourself think. As far as food, I have only had the Mezze Trio, which I enjoyed. The hummus and crackers were good, and I never saw an olive I didn't want to eat. We have enjoyed all of the happy hour wines that they have offered. I came here with my mom on a Thursday and had a great time. We were sat immediately and got to sit by the window. The wine bar itself is super beautiful. I loved that they had love music, it fit the theme very well. I started off by ordering a bottle of sweet white wine which was delicious. For snacks we got the cheese charcuterie board and spinach dip. The charcuterie board was good nothing crazy about it but the spinach dip was amazing and had almost a spice to it I would say. If you are in Fort Worth this is definitely a fun place to try whether on a date, weekday wine down or even a girls night. 10/10 experience! Stopped in for a drink before hitting the Stock Show and had a pleasant experience. Came in just before 4:00 when the '1/2 off a bottle happy hour' started. they wanted to seat us next to the wine cellar but the place was empty and we were looking for a cozier spot. Ended up in the other room at a high top as they were saving the other tables/soft seating of larger groups. The bar was full of people on computers - finishing the Friday workday I guess. Well after 4:00, it got busy. They proceeded to give the seats we were interested in to other couples... I took one star off for this in my rating. It didn't go unnoticed. We had a bottle of Fiol Prosecco and some mixed nuts. Nice and crisp, and well presented. Service was very friendly. Check out was easy, at table and Apple Pay accepted. With dim lights, TVs and music stiil the ambiance remains fairly balance and very intimate. We have come to experience this gem twice now. First time on our own. The second time with our wine club. In both instances the service was the same: consistency, promptness, attention and quality. They used to have delivery service through the pandemic. The service was just for the surrounding areas. Unfortunately this service is no longer. I'm pretty sure all the staff is A+ but I highly recommend you to ask for Tony and Mikey. In both of our occasions they were outstanding! Always professional, friendly and willing to address our needs. Both are very knowledgeable on the craft. And have a palate with great recommendations! I believe that for groups larger than five or so you might need to reserve. Food is permissible as long you purchase wine or anything else here. They don't confection food necessarily there. But they work alongside with some amazing kitchens in the area. So I encourage you to ask for their menu. Now, it might not be the most extensive but it sure is delicious! I always have a pretty good time here. The vibe is pretty relaxed and interesting with its auto-shop-turned wine bar aesthetic. Sit by the fireplace if you can, it's warm and cozy. Came here with a girlfriend recently and ordered a Malbec based solely on its cool name, and our server was like "if you like Malbecs, you might want to try...." and he sold us on a similar option at a similar price with his recommendation. It was delicious! They do have a few food bites here (hello cheese plate) but I really come more for a before or after dinner kind of lounging experience. They do have my favorite type of wine from my favorite region and that doesn't happen often. A+ for that! They have a handful of shareable foods. We decided to get the cheese and charcuterie board, which is $5 more than the cheese board, because it was serving as our dinner for the evening. I really don't think what we got was worth $30. We had one piece of prosciutto, which was the only difference from the regular cheese board. Is $5 worth it for one piece of prosciutto? I don't know about that. We got a table right away, but it took a VERY long time before someone came to get our drink order. It took even longer to get our wine, and even longer than that to get our charcuterie board. They did apologize for how long it took to get our food, so that was nice at least. This was my first time in the Magnolia Ave area, and I'm questioning if maybe it's just not the place for me. I might consider coming back to Magnolia Wine Bar, but only for a glass of wine and when I have time to wait. read more

When we walked in tonight one of the employees greeted us with attitude and was adamant that where we wanted to sit was reserved. Turns out he had been saving it for friends of his that showed up later. Anytime we brought up something we were familiar with from past visits we got condescending replies and it just made the experience less than usual. We gave 5 stars because we won't let one person ruin it as we've been here so many times. It's sad this is the only time we've left a review because of a bad experience. We had a great afternoon at The Magnolia Wine Bar yesterday. The staff greeted us and asked what type of wine we were thinking about. We gave them a style and they came back with three options of things that were newer to their list and appropriate for the warm day since we were seated in their patio with our dog. We selected a delicious Albariño that fit the day perfectly. We like that they keep us well-supplied with water in an ice bucket (the ice bucket is a special request that they will gladly fulfill). Our dog loves the staff and they love him. The newly-renovated patio makes sipping on wine in the warmer months especially nice. They now serve liquor in addition to wine and beer for those not feeling vinous. The building, the patio, the staff, and the wine make Magnolia one of our favorite places. read more

Been here a few times over the last couple of weeks--Great wine options and awesome ambiance, especially the nights when there's live music. I love that they have some options with different price ranges. Their charcuterie board is good, I just wish the offered cheese only boards since I don't eat pork. I love their cookie board, such an awesome concept just wish the cookies weren't so hard. Service has been inconsistent every time I've been. The last time I had to approach the bar to place my order and ask for the check since the waiter never checked on us. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and say sometimes you can have bad days which I understand. I'm hoping I don't have any issues the next time I come back. We stopped in here before our dinner reservations down the street at another establishment for an appetizer and a glass of wine. I had a glass of Pinot and the wife had a glass of sparkling rose'. The only trouble was that we had to make like 3 selections each as they were out of our first and second choices. A tad bit disappointing for a Saturday night. We ordered the dog bones which is cheesy bread made at their sister brewery and food joint just down the street. At the suggestion of our waiter, we got the breadsticks extra cheesy and it turned out to be the right call. It was served with ranch and marinara and was like eating a whole pizza. So much atmosphere! There isn't a bad seat in the house, and the environment is so friendly. This wine bar is owned by Frank Kent dealerships. The staff wear mechanic's shirts with the name Frank on them. There is always a great car on the lift, and when I inquired about it I was told it's for sale. Would have been difficult to test drive, but what a story that would be, right? They allow dogs on the patio which has comfy casual seating, a fireplace, and the floor to ceiling doors that open provide a fresh and elegant environment that feels cozy. We had a few appetizers, my husband had a couple glasses of wine and since I'm a new Mom I had the ruby red mocktail. My husband had only good things to say about the wine, and I really appreciated a well crafted drink that was still fun and felt celebratory. The person that left a review about wine not being served at the correct temperature needs professional help, every one likes wine differently. And the comment about the cheap wine glass??? I mean, if you need crystal stem glasses princess, stay at home and spare the rest of us your company. This place is fantastic. They have great items to snack on, a food truck to order from and live music when we went. I believe in leaving good reviews when warranted and simply going somewhere else if the doesn't suit me. My finace always tries a different wine and he love love loooove it here. Ask Therral L. Kent &Co is so laid back and chill. It's the type of wine bar you viait when you truly want to chill relax and have a good time. From the music, to the decor, to the service I am pleased. Frank the bartender always helps with making our visit awesome as well. I have nothing but good to say about Kent & Co and you should definitely try it for yourself. It's a mix of trendy, creative and uniqueness. The location is a perfect place for you to enjoy a glass of wine in the afternoon. I enjoy missing the crowds and I'm sure this place is busy at night. If the weather is cooperative, they will have the large doors open, which adds another element to your experience. There is a nice fireplace to sit by for ambiance. And I know this sounds odd, but it's actually pretty cool, there's also a Cadillac sedan on a car lift that you're able to sit under. From what I understand, there are special occasions that live music is featured at Kent & Co. The staff was definitely friendly and knowledgeable. Their wine list is extensive. I appreciate a wine bar that isn't just carrying the basics that will pacify the novice or mid-level wine enthusiasts. They have wine by the glass & bottle, and not just the economy $10 choices for all of you cheap f'ers. Parking: There are a few limited spaces.. take note... Afternoon/Day drinking the parking is street level and walk a block or two. Nights, I recommend uber. However street parking will be harder to find. Cheers to Kent & Co Wines! We had an incredible experience at Magnolia this Saturday for our friend's bachelorette party. Mikey, the sommelier, was so passionate about recommending wines that each member of our party would enjoy. We ended up having the Big Salt orange wine and a baby Sancerre called Turbullent.
