Happy Hour Rose and Red along with the HH menu
Ryan W.

This is becoming a preferred happy hour spot for us. The staff and atmosphere are both relaxed. Just what I am looking for. They typically have R&B playing at a reasonable volume, so you can enjoy it while still hearing yourself think. As far as food, I have only had the Mezze Trio, which I enjoyed. The hummus and crackers were good, and I never saw an olive I didn't want to eat. We have enjoyed all of the happy hour wines that they have offered. I can't speak to peak hour, but it's a fantastic spot to post up for the afternoon.

Fun, relaxed vibe here with some good live music on our Saturday afternoon visit. Sat outside and sipped my beer as my wife enjoyed her prosecco. The spinach dip was excellent.

I came here with my mom on a Thursday and had a great time. We were sat immediately and got to sit by the window. The wine bar itself is super beautiful. I loved that they had love music, it fit the theme very well. I started off by ordering a bottle of sweet white wine which was delicious. For snacks we got the cheese charcuterie board and spinach dip. The charcuterie board was good nothing crazy about it but the spinach dip was amazing and had almost a spice to it I would say. If you are in Fort Worth this is definitely a fun place to try whether on a date, weekday wine down or even a girls night. 10/10 experience! I hope they continue the jazz music because this pairing was great!

Stopped in for a drink before hitting the Stock Show and had a pleasant experience. Came in just before 4:00 when the '1/2 off a bottle happy hour' started. they wanted to seat us next to the wine cellar but the place was empty and we were looking for a cozier spot. Ended up in the other room at a high top as they were saving the other tables/soft seating of larger groups. The bar was full of people on computers - finishing the Friday workday I guess. Well after 4:00, it got busy. They proceeded to give the seats we were interested in to other couples... I took one star off for this in my rating. It didn't go unnoticed. We had a bottle of Fiol Prosecco and some mixed nuts. Nice and crisp, and well presented. Service was very friendly. Check out was easy, at table and Apple Pay accepted. Single use restrooms (very clean) with interesting signage.

Interesante! A very nice place to Learn, explore and chat over wine. Beautiful strong brick walls compose a very private feeling . With dim lights, TVs and music stiil the ambiance remains fairly balance and very intimate. We have come to experience this gem twice now. First time on our own. The second time with our wine club. In both instances the service was the same: consistency, promptness, attention and quality. They used to have delivery service through the pandemic. The service was just for the surrounding areas. Unfortunately this service is no longer. I'm pretty sure all the staff is A+ but I highly recommend you to ask for Tony and Mikey. In both of our occasions they were outstanding! Always professional, friendly and willing to address our needs. Both are very knowledgeable on the craft. And have a palate with great recommendations! I believe that for groups larger than five or so you might need to reserve. Food is permissible as long you purchase wine or anything else here. They don't confection food necessarily there. But they work alongside with some amazing kitchens in the area. So I encourage you to ask for their menu. Now, it might not be the most extensive but it sure is delicious! Here some of the wines that we tried: The cosmic egg, Cabernet Sauvignon (Must try). Tapiz alta collection, malbec Emmolo, merlot (MUST TRY). Ghost block, zinfandel (MUST TRY). Tip: go on Tuesday. Best day because Tony is there!!!

Pros: dedicated parking, cool vibe, dog-friendly patio, great wine menu, prime location Cons: slow service, overpriced shareable plates We came early evening on a Saturday and surprisingly had no trouble parking (they dedicated spots). It's a popular spot, and they have a large outdoor space that is dog-friendly, which is nice to see. Their wine menu is diverse in my books, but I am not a wine snob so am easily pleased. They do have my favorite type of wine from my favorite region and that doesn't happen often. A+ for that! They have a handful of shareable foods. We decided to get the cheese and charcuterie board, which is $5 more than the cheese board, because it was serving as our dinner for the evening. I really don't think what we got was worth $30. We had one piece of prosciutto, which was the only difference from the regular cheese board. Is $5 worth it for one piece of prosciutto? I don't know about that. We got a table right away, but it took a VERY long time before someone came to get our drink order. It took even longer to get our wine, and even longer than that to get our charcuterie board. They did apologize for how long it took to get our food, so that was nice at least. This was my first time in the Magnolia Ave area, and I'm questioning if maybe it's just not the place for me. I might consider coming back to Magnolia Wine Bar, but only for a glass of wine and when I have time to wait.

We fell in love with Grand Cru!…read more Let me start by saying I have HATED mushrooms my whole life. Never has there ever been a time where I can eat them or ANYTHING containing them without gagging....UNTIL GRAND CRU. I tried their mushroom flatbread on a (very nervous) whim due to a free sample, and immediately fell in love. We loved it so much that we came back shortly after just to order another! Wine selection here is amazing, and the service has always been so friendly. We always feel at home. Cost inside, too with warm and low lighting. I highly recommend Grand Cru. It's been added to my list of faves!

The Barista Ink Cabernet that I tried, I would for sure recommend. (Cherry notes folks!) The mushroom flatbread is really good, and is something that would get my husband to tag along again. Chris let us know that they have live music on Friday, maybe Saturday nights. Plus, we loved the little puppy treat station by the door. We regularly got to see the cute puppies getting to stop for a treat on their walks! Give them a shot, I know I'll be back!

She asked if we had a reservation (at 12 noon on a Sunday!). We didn't as we had just learned of the restaurant 10 minutes prior thanks to Yelp. She told us "no problem, we have a table where you can sit or you are welcome to sit at the bar." We chose the table. Once there, a kind woman brought us ice water, welcomed us, and told us to relax and enjoy ourselves. There is no rush to eat quickly. Next arrived our friendly & awesome waiter! Once he learned that it was our first time there, he asked if we needed any help in decifering the menu and offered his assistance should we need it. We told him we were ready to order... Then the food arrived.... We ordered the chicken, celery, and carrot dumplings, wagyu potstickers, Peking duck, and traditional chicken fried rice to eat family style. Wagyu potstickers - they were good. You could definitely enjoy these with or without the sauce that they provided. Traditional chicken fried rice - the rice was too moist and lacked flavor. (My son thought it had too many peas. I thought it was a perfect amount. LOL) We will not order this dish next time. Peking Duck - my son and daughter devoured it saying that it was delicious!! (I do not personally eat duck so I'll take their word for it). Chicken, celery & carrot dumplings - these were our absolute favorite!! So much so that we ordered a second serving of them. We discussed the fact that we could not think of another restaurant with chicken dumplings that we liked more. Will we return to Teddy Wong's??? DEFINITELY!!!
