Lazy Dog has an excellent patio. It is big, open, has a firepit, and heaters when it is cold. You are right next to the highway and shopping center, but it FEELS quieter. It is dog approved, and they even have options for your best friend. It is mostly your typical american food options, and then they throw in like a Thai noodle bowl, or Korean fried chicken bao buns. I think they try too much. Also, we have legit Korean and Thai restaurants in the metroplex, I wonder who is coming here for their pad thai? Someone must be. I do think they do some things really well. They change their menu seasonally, and I have had some really good and interesting salads. They have a decent happy hour and the service is friendly. I think the kitchen can be inconsistent. Sometimes really good, sometimes mediocre. But again I think that is just them doing too much. A jack of all trades is a master of none.

Very nice location and the inside of the restaurant was very clean. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. Also they have a nice patio if you like sitting outside. I had the tomato soup which was very good could be a little creamier but the flavor was on point! Would have been perfect with their grilled cheese. Instead I had the chopped wedge salad sorry for the half eaten salad picture but I forgot to take before I started eating when. I like the addition of the pickled red onions. Then had an order of the cheese curds that came with three sauces. Marina, ranch and a spicy aioli sauce I think. Again was very tasty. Also the portions are big here. I got the bowl and I ended up bringing half of it home with some of my salad. BONUS: You can bring your fur babies (patio seating only) too! And they have a menu for them and will bring water for them too! Next time I'll bring my fur baby so she can get a meal too.

Oven-Ready TV Dinners are so good. We ordered 6 trays (Buy 5 Get One Free). They told us the meals ok to freeze at least 4 weeks. Big enough portion size, taste fresh and yummy.

My bf and I come here semi regularly as a treat - we came today to celebrate our 4 year anniversary! Our server Pierre was AMAZING. He was so attentive to us and even went out of his way to surprise us with champagne and a dessert to celebrate! It was so sweet and unexpected and we seriously cannot say enough good things about him and his service!! Thank you Pierre

Had a coupon and happened to be catching a movie in the area so we stopped by for dinner. The service is fantastic. We were treated like family from the start and when the GM found out it was our first time he made sure to find out how we liked our meal and as he was clocking out he made sure to get us a business card in case we come back. Food was great, no complaints. We got the chips, meatloaf and rainbow trout. Their beer flights are a refreshing and nice way to try out new offerings. The service made us want to revisit for a reliable meal.

Went for late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. They were busy but we were able to be immediately seated for a table of 7. Waitress & staff were friendly. They took our orders quickly but it to for...ev....er to get our food. They updated us several times that it was coming. Unfortunately when they brought the food, one of the meals (1/2 chicken club sandwich) was not correct and we were near done eating before they brought the correct order. We all enjoyed our meals and did not have room for dessert. Meals ordered: Kids burger & fries Kids cheesy pizza sticks with fruit Chicken salad lettuce wrap Lunch combo: Chicken club sandwich w/tomato soup Bacon grilled cheese with tomato soup Pretzel crusted pork schnitzel Loco Moco Fried Rice: Wok-fired rice with shaved hickory-smoked ham, seasoned ground beef, ginger, garlic, cabbage, peas, carrots, soy sauce + garlic chili crisp, topped with furikake, green onions and a sunny-side up egg, with a side of housemade teriyaki gravy

Today was my Winnie girl's birthday, am I wanted to spoil her, so we came here to Lazy Dog! It was our first time, and we were greeted by a friendly host staff. A young gentleman escorted us to the patio and pointed out the seating around the fire pit. I actually preferred this to a table, so I could have Winnie next to me in her stroller and laid her mat down by my feet. Easy access. Then, a friendly, bubbly server, Katie, greeted us and immediately gushed over Winnie! She was very attentive and kind. Every time she walked by, she gave Winnie and me a smile. The only hiccup was that my dessert was taking a bit longer to come out, but honestly, I needed a breather after my yummy Mediterranean bowl. She checked on it, and it came out after that. The s'mores brownie was soooo gooood. Side note: Winnie was my mom's dog until she passed away from cancer in 2023. I took in Winnie, and we've been inseparable ever since. Yesterday was my mom's Heavenly birthday, and Winnie's is the day after. When I'm with Winnie, I'm with a piece of my mom, too. To some, it's just a restaurant, but to me, it's a memory where I got to celebrate my sweet Winnie girl while also feeling like my mom was with us, too.

We visited this restaurant as an offsite event from work and we enjoyed our lunch. Our server was very friendly and attentive even though he was super busy, but be kept moving. The food was flavorful and the atmosphere was great. We loved sitting right by the fireplace. The decor is on point too. We'll be back!

The Pad Thai (Thai Noodles) at Lazy Dog in Euless is a solid, comforting choice. The noodles are well-cooked with a nice sweet-savory sauce, and the mix of shrimp, chicken, tofu, egg, and peanuts makes it hearty and filling. Not super spicy or ultra-authentic, but flavorful and satisfying--great if you want something familiar and easy to enjoy. Service was excellent and great recommendations.

The Lazy Dog is great! And not only for their heated dog friendly patio. Their food is really good, they have a full menu and bar, something for everyone. The service is always very good. Email took care of us today (party of 8) and she was on point. Overall, we love this spot and will be back.

This place still has excellent service and nice ambiance. We went for their Happy Hour which has great drink and food specials. Loved their hibiscus margarita and their hot honey feta dip with buttery tosated crusty bread. It is my new favorite appetizer! A lot of new menu items to try, so we will be back!

Lazy Dog has always been a good experience for me. I've been here many times, both the Euless and Arlington location. I haven't really found anything on the menu I don't like. In fact the only thing I didn't like they removed from the menu, so good call guys! lol. One thing I wish they still had was the country fried ribeye. The bison version is still great though. This last trip they had an issue with the modifications not going through to the kitchen which caused some major delays. That being said our server took care of us and comped two of the meals bc of the wait which was more than generous. The vibe in all of their restaurants is great. Tall ceilings, nice modern rustic decor. Great for a date or just a family outing. Definitely a reliable go to spot.

Lazy Dog is one of my favorite happy hour spots! They are a great restaurant to get late night eats at a good quality because they also do reverse happy hour (typically from 9-11 pm every day). I usually order their chicken lettuce wraps, which are always tasty. Their Korean bibimbap is also so good with nicely flavored beef. They might also have my favorite fries of all time - so crunchy, and the Cajun seasoning adds a nice touch. I love the vibes inside. Not divey, not overly stuffy, just right. One of my regular spots and worth a visit.

What happened to the Grizzly Fries!? I don't see them on the menu. They were one of my favorite items at Lazy Dog.

I agree with Ashley. Seasonal items are phased out, new items added. It's hard when one of the phased out items is your favorite!

Is the patio covered with heaters for cold weather?

Yes it is covered and has plastic "windows" that they can roll down. Also has a fire pit

Can you order from the full menu during brunch? Or only from the brunch menu? Thanks

You can order from the full menu during brunch!

    Ok for kids?

    Yes!

    Saturday happy hour?

    Unfortunately not. Mon-Fri 3-6pm Sun-Thurs 9-close…

Do they have vegetarian options, more specifically a vegetarian burger?

Yes, they do. My girlfriend is vegetarian (now vegan) and she always has many options to choose from, including the black bean burger. Enjoy!

What days and times are brunch?

Saturdays and Sundays from opening until 2 pm :-)

    Do they have pool tables?

    No they don't

Yes they have gluten free options

The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.

Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

It was a great way to kick off our lunch. It just hit lunch time, so the restaurant wasn't too busy and we decided to take a seat at the bar for our meal. As we perused the menu, we were greeted promptly by our bartender, who's name is slipping my mind, he was such a sweet guy! He gave us some excellent food and drink recommendations. The one drink I went with that he recommended was their 21-day pineapple infused vodka martini. Shaken beautifully and poured into an ice cold martini glass and dressed with a fresh pineapple wedge. It was nice, crisp, cold, and delightfully fresh! For the food, I was originally thinking a burger, bc it's a smokehouse, and that's what they specialize in, over the fire cooking, but his recommendation on the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich sounded too good to pass up, and in fact, had a missed it, I'd be missing out!!! The sandwich was huge, and after the camera eating first, I took my first big bite, and it was so flavorful. The chicken was hot, crunchy, sweet, with a little spice, crisp pickles, cheese melted as I took each bite. Just a great burst of flavors. The fries I liked very much, and now thinking back on it, should've ordered a side of the sauce they had on the sandwich to dip those fries in. My sister order the 1/2 ribs, which she says were really good, along with a side of au gratin potatoes, that looked like they came from someone's moms kitchen! She left nothing on that plate!!! I hope to go there again next time I'm in the Dallas area -- it was very close to DFW

DFW is massive. My friend was 30 mins late, but I wasn't trippin. I used that time to charge my phone and get a little work done. We didn't have a resy, but were seated right away. First of all, this place is massive. We both started with the espresso martini before realizing they had a happy hour menu. Our second drink was from the hh menu even though we had no business having a second cocktail. To start, we shared the fried green tomatoes. For whatever reason, we both ended up getting the western burger. Food was great. There was so much of it that I was only able to finish half and ended up taking the rest home. Great service as well. The place was crowded by the time we left. We only planned to stay for 45 minutes, but ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. Big thanks to the bartender. I went back to the airport a little tipsy after 2 drinks.

I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken, Parmesan cheese, delicious croutons and avocado. I confirmed that these were the only ingredients I wanted in the salad. When it was bought out I started eating right away because I was very hungry. I noticed a taste that I DID NOT LIKE. I asked our server what the dark green lettuce looking stuff was and she said KALE! I HATE KALE and have never seen it IN a Caesar salad. Other than that the service was great. She brought me a bowl of Romaine and Parmesan so I had to pick the chicken, croutons, and avocado out of the Kale and add it to the new bowl of romaine. Our 7 year old grandson had a grilled cheese sandwich which he said was yummy. Our 10 year old granddaughter ordered Fish & Chips. She's loves F&C and is a reliable critic. She said it was really good. My husband had a pizza with Truffle oil, mushrooms, garlic and arugula. He said it was very good. We ordered the beignets and of course they were to die for. We love beignets! It's hard to comment on the ambiance since it was an after church lunch. Ambiance for me is all about perfect lighting in the evening which is dimmed somewhat. We will return at some point. PLEASE tell the Chef that Kale should be nowhere near a Caesar salad.

She was so helpful with recommending menu items. I ultimately decided on a soup and salad. Much to my surprise both items were huge portions and full of flavor. The inside of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful and there is so much space. I can't wait to come back and try more items.

He would always come back and check on us just to make sure everything was going well. His customer service skills were top notch! Especially now of days it's hard to find good customer service. I ordered the steak and egg hash, and we also shared an order of fried green tomatoes. Everything came out fast and didn't take long at all. On my entree there was a lot of the salad dressing and potatoes that was overpowering, but the steak and eggs were pretty delicious. Wish there was a location closer to where I live!

From the start, our waitress, Sheba, made the experience exceptional. She was warm, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. We loved chatting with her, and her honest recommendations helped us choose some incredible dishes. We decided to share the Surf & Turf special, featuring shrimp and a perfectly cooked ribeye, and it did not disappoint. Everything was cooked beautifully, flavorful, and well-portioned. We also ordered the Candied Bacon and the Crab Cakes, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The candied bacon was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, while the crab cakes were packed with flavor and tasted fresh. To drink, we had the Strawberry Hibiscus Margarita, and it was hands down one of the best summer cocktails I've had. It was refreshing, beautifully balanced, and the perfect pairing with our meal. Between the outstanding food, welcoming atmosphere, and Sheba's top-notch service, this was a five-star experience from beginning to end. If you're visiting Whiskey Cake, do yourself a favor and ask for Sheba if you can. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to our next visit!
