Over the last several weeks, I've used DoorDash several times due to recovering from surgery. Lazy Dog is one of my favorite choices; their menu is vast: whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you'll find something to fit the mood. My meals: Deviled Egg Salad Sandwich - This was very good, so VERY good. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the sweet bacon topped it off. The multigrain bread was fresh and paired perfectly with the egg salad. Side: Pickled Cucumbers - I could eat these daily; they're spectacular. - Cheesy Eggs & Avocado Toast: This meal was a huge disappointment. The eggs were described as very creamy and fluffy, and that is what you were served. They were nice. My main issue was the avocado toast. "Crushed avocado" is how it was described. I feel that was misleading and should be corrected. This was an avocado spread w/ crushed red pepper and sea salt. A spread that was already turning brown when received. The bread (French) was toasted and buttered with salted butter, which completely ruined it. It was way too salty and actually made the top of the bread soggy. Speaking of soggy, that same thing happened on the bottom. The steam from the eggs soaked into the bread, which made it unpleasant. Other than the eggs, I threw it away. A total bust! - Grilled Idaho Trout: When I order fish, I know I'm taking a risk. So easily, depending on the fish, it can often be overcooked. With this trout, it was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The meal is filling, and I ate it for lunch and dinner. The veggies were the side show for me, but they served their purpose and were tasty. Sides: Cucumber Lemon Sparkler (non-alcoholic) So refreshing, I love their new sparkling refreshers! Campfire Cookies: What a great addition; these will definitely be a hit. The caramel can be a bit much, in particular when it comes to storing the cookies. You may want to omit the sauce or get it on the side. Either way, these cookies are delicious! BBQ Chips: These were okay; they could have been fried a bit longer. They were inconsistent. Chili Garlic Cucumbers: SCORE! SO, GOOD! Just make sure you eat them as quickly as possible. They tend to lose their "crunch" if they sit for too long. Not best to be eaten as leftovers. Overall, I love Lazy Dog for the variety of foods and for their creativity. I appreciate menus that cater to the seasons; it always gives me something new to look forward to, or even my seasonal favorites. read more

The only reason why I heard of this place was because they allowed dogs at the outdoor patio seating. Granted, it was first a recommendation by a family member who took a liking to Lazy Dog's food, so I decided to give it a try with my stepdad today. I enjoy their large variety of food options. Their menu ranged from pasta to seafood, including a few selections of fish; I ordered the Grilled Idaho Trout and requested the green beans be switched to broccoli. The food was great; portions were large and I especially took an unexpected liking to their potatoes and french fries. I wished I tried their Truffle Fries as I really like Truffle, but I suppose I'll save that for my next visit. Service was OK, nothing spectacular or memorable. Not at all - they tasted like strong horseradish and had a peculiar taste and smell. The menu is really misleading. The side choices were listed in two columns. Very far above the right hand column and in tiny print was a little note that these cost more. Service was miserable. We were part of a large group of ladies. The server stood at the far end of the table to take our orders. He couldn't hear us and kept asking to repeat what we said. Some of us had menu questions but we couldn't shout loud enough for him to hear. I finally had enough of his indifference and asked sternly for him to move closer so we could ask questions. Lazy Dog has an excellent patio. It is big, open, has a firepit, and heaters when it is cold. You are right next to the highway and shopping center, but it FEELS quieter. It is dog approved, and they even have options for your best friend. It is mostly your typical american food options, and then they throw in like a Thai noodle bowl, or Korean fried chicken bao buns. I think they try too much. Also, we have legit Korean and Thai restaurants in the metroplex, I wonder who is coming here for their pad thai? Someone must be. I do think they do some things really well. They change their menu seasonally, and I have had some really good and interesting salads. They have a decent happy hour and the service is friendly. I think the kitchen can be inconsistent. Sometimes really good, sometimes mediocre. But again I think that is just them doing too much. A jack of all trades is a master of none. read more

Very nice location and the inside of the restaurant was very clean. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. Also they have a nice patio if you like sitting outside. I had the tomato soup which was very good could be a little creamier but the flavor was on point! Would have been perfect with their grilled cheese. Instead I had the chopped wedge salad sorry for the half eaten salad picture but I forgot to take before I started eating when. I like the addition of the pickled red onions. Then had an order of the cheese curds that came with three sauces. Marina, ranch and a spicy aioli sauce I think. Again was very tasty. Also the portions are big here. I got the bowl and I ended up bringing half of it home with some of my salad. BONUS: You can bring your fur babies (patio seating only) too! Today was my Winnie girl's birthday, am I wanted to spoil her, so we came here to Lazy Dog! It was our first time, and we were greeted by a friendly host staff. A young gentleman escorted us to the patio and pointed out the seating around the fire pit. I actually preferred this to a table, so I could have Winnie next to me in her stroller and laid her mat down by my feet. Easy access. Then, a friendly, bubbly server, Katie, greeted us and immediately gushed over Winnie! She was very attentive and kind. Every time she walked by, she gave Winnie and me a smile. The only hiccup was that my dessert was taking a bit longer to come out, but honestly, I needed a breather after my yummy Mediterranean bowl. She checked on it, and it came out after that. The s'mores brownie was soooo gooood. Side note: Winnie was my mom's dog until she passed away from cancer in 2023. I took in Winnie, and we've been inseparable ever since. Yesterday was my mom's Heavenly birthday, and Winnie's is the day after. When I'm with Winnie, I'm with a piece of my mom, too. I met up with a friend at Lazy Dog. He was in town and staying near DFW so it was a convenient place and the menu online looked good. The place is huge inside. Very open. It was still sort of early so while there were a decent amount of people, it wasn't crowded. Grabbed a booth, which was very spacious, and ordered up a couple of beers. Our server was very attentive and we never felt like we were waiting for her to come by or trying to catch her eye. She always seemed to be keeping an eye on her tables. Excellent service. The food was good and on par with what one would expect for this type of place. Good, but not "OMG that was awesome!" Lazy Dog has always been a good experience for me. I've been here many times, both the Euless and Arlington location. I haven't really found anything on the menu I don't like. In fact the only thing I didn't like they removed from the menu, so good call guys! lol. One thing I wish they still had was the country fried ribeye. The bison version is still great though. This last trip they had an issue with the modifications not going through to the kitchen which caused some major delays. That being said our server took care of us and comped two of the meals bc of the wait which was more than generous. The vibe in all of their restaurants is great. Tall ceilings, nice modern rustic decor. Great for a date or just a family outing. Definitely a reliable go to spot. read more

So, I took my wife to for lunch at Lazy Dog in Euless today and we both ordered the fish and chips. When the meal arrived, the fish was crisp on top and so moist on the bottom the breading was falling off. The kitchen had thrown the fish straight out of the frier onto a pile of French fries in a serving basket and let it sit there until our server picked it up. The accompanying fries were just as soggy as the fish, pretty much the exact opposite of what you'd get at a spot that actually knew something about fish n chips. Just a God-awful dining experience at a place that charges enough that a customer should expect something better than incompetence from the kitchen staff. You could probably get better fish at Long John Silver's. read more

Lazy Dog is one of my favorite happy hour spots! They are a great restaurant to get late night eats at a good quality because they also do reverse happy hour (typically from 9-11 pm every day). I usually order their chicken lettuce wraps, which are always tasty. Their Korean bibimbap is also so good with nicely flavored beef. They might also have my favorite fries of all time - so crunchy, and the Cajun seasoning adds a nice touch. I love the vibes inside. Not divey, not overly stuffy, just right. Love me some Lazy Dog! I enjoy LD at home probably 3-4 times each year. Was taking a work associate out to eat for lunch today and she wanted LD. I didn't even realize there was one, let alone several, in the area. Got my usual, teriyaki chicken with broccoli and white rice. Just as good as home. Very consistent with my expectations. Hostess and server were both fast and friendly. It was even a little cheaper than home (CA) which was a welcome surprise. Went here for my 2 year anniversary, and it was a homerun! Mason, our server, (and the manager Alexis), were both friendly and swung us a free dessert pictured below. I've always liked the food here. The fish and chips is always good and well fried, and usually has some really good portions. Today it definitely did for the fish, the "chips", aka fries, we as a bit scarce. Wife had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. That was really good. Multi cheese sandwich and the soup was really creamy. It did have some large chunks of croutons in it, which seemed odd. The service was a bit lacking, she didn't check on us often enough, my water glass became empty and stayed that was for a while. I had to drink from my wife's glass. The location is super nice. I really like the Lodge look and ambience. It was quiet and not very busy today. The menu is a bit diverse, what looks like a hamburger or steak joint has a few options for that, but they have a lot of odds and ends options as well. It's all good food. read more
