We went for Mother's Day, and it was a very good meal. Hubby made reservations, and we were seated quickly upon arrival. Our server was a very nice guy, and made recommendations that were very good. The pretzel starter was good as well as the egg rolls. I just wish there were more, lol. I ordered the Steak Frites, and it was good. A little underwhelming. Expected more. Maybe because we were upstairs. They sat us down and we were the only people there then they sat another couple right next to us?? Why not at least one table away?? as they and the waitress were very loud. Is everyone brain dead? Food was good at least. The furniture and ambiance is showing its age. Needs an update. Del Frisco is the restaurant to go to for great happy hour foods and beverages, dinner, brunch or just to hand out with friends. The bar area is where it's at! The bar tenders are friendly and quickly there to serve you. I love sitting at the bar, and ordering off the happy hour menu. Love the Roasted Buffalo Wings, Naked with Ranch Dressing, so good. Also, I have had the Roasted Tomato & Pepperoni Flatbread. They have a great selection of wines, too. Del Frisco's Lot 1981 is my favorite. A must try for Happy Hour! read more

My wife and I stopped in on Saturday night for dinner at 6pm, shortly afterwards the dining room filled up. Dress code is casual as well as the ambiance , the bar was busy and somewhat separated from the dining area. I will say the noise level is loud, possibly because we were seated by 2 large tables but the contemporary music piped is unnecessary IMHO We started with the grilled artichokes and fig jam arugula flatbread - both were delicious. The flatbread was easily shareable by 2 diners if not 3 and it came with plenty of fig jam, goat cheese , arugula and crisped prosciutto. One of the best renditions of a fig prosciutto flatbread ive had For entrees I had the salmon. Lemon dill salmon roasted, asparagus, served with a lemon dill aioli. My fish portion was excellent, nice crust on the skin and just enuff asparagus. My wife had the bronzinno fish but had it prepared the way the restaurant does it's roasted chicken - , caper chimichurri and hand mashed russet potatoes. Fish had a great pan fry to it with the skin being nice and crispy but the fish still retained it's true flavor - thanks too the chefs for doing a one off! Del Frisco's is a great place to eat. I've been there on a few occasions now, most recently Easter weekend. I have to say their New York Strip steak is one of the most flavorful I've had since moving to Texas in 2018 - tremendous. If you don't want to spring for steak, I also thoroughly enjoyed their steak burger and fries, which were crisp with a fresh, soft center. The restaurant is not overly large and it's comfortable both inside and on their spacious outdoor heated patio. I also appreciate their staff's proactive attitude to keep us satisfied. Unfortunately, some of our visits have been untimely. In one instance, the bartender had to play the server role in the inside seating area because of a large wedding reception and although he tried hard, he was a bit out of his comfort zone. They were also out of the pistachio-crusted dish I specifically came there for this weekend, and it took some time before someone came to the table to get us started. But even in these scenarios, we didn't have to ask for makegoods - their managers were fully engaged to get things on track. I think it's just been my luck that I've caught them in some tricky staffing situations. I really can't stand it when dining establishments aren't accountable to their own standards by just saying "oops, sorry, hope you come back!" It means a lot to me when they make it right and I don't have to ask. No doubt, I really enjoy Del Frisco's and will be back. read more

Three English persons and one American decide to go out for dinner one Thursday night. They had no clue they would end up at Del Frisco's..But they are sure glad they did.The food was delicious, the beer and wine too.( must have words with Bon jovi however and his glass stopper) We had a terrific server in Aubrey(sorry if i can not spell her name) but she was amazing. Visited this place yesterday with my family. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I ordered the salmon which came with a yogurt style dill sauce which was truly amazing and a side of asparagus. I additionally ordered a side of truffled Mac and cheese which was also really good. We traditionally go to Del Frisco but Del Frisco grille was also as good. Service however was a bit slow which I think was probably because of Christmas and being short staff but our waiter was truly amazing. I will definitely be back again. read more

My family and I had an overall OK experience at Del Frisco's Grille. The atmosphere was nice and the menu had a great variety, but the quality of the food didn't quite match the higher price point. Everything was decent, just not as impressive as we expected for the cost. Service was friendly but a bit lacking -- our server seemed stretched thin, and a few small details were missed along the way. I guess I was hoping for that same Del Frisco's Double Eagle experience from Fort Worth, just at a more casual price -- but it didn't quite measure up. Yes, it's owned by Landry's, and as a result carries the same corporate aura as the rest of their brand portfolio. This location is very nicely appointed, and considering it's address that's not by mistake. It's somewhat dark inside, but not overwhelmingly so. Wine list is extensive, but I did my routine check, whereby I select the most fairly priced wines, to see if it's ethereal bait or actually in stock. They did unfortunately fail this test, as the most fairly priced bottles were coincidently out of stock. I had to deduct a star on those grounds. Ahi tuna tacos are nice take on an often overplayed appetizer. Though let's face it, you're at Del Frisco's for steak. They do this well, along with the steakhouse accoutrements you'd expect, like expertly grilled asparagus. Service is on par with other establishments in the price range. It's also worthy to note that their club, which carries a $25 initiation fee, is absolutely worth if you visit Landry's properties with some frequency. read more

Came here with my friend to try the It Girl Dinner for lunch, so we headed straight to the bar. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by our bartenders Hannah and Michelle. We were given ice water, while we looked through the menu. We ordered the Cheesesteak Egg rolls to share, and those were magnificent. For our meal we had the It Girl Dinner which comes with Spicy Cavatappi à la vodka, Caesar Salad, Truffle Fries and a Cocktail, which I chose the Femme Fatale. At first I didn't know how to feel about the pasta, the sauce seemed to be more like marinara sauce than vodka sauce, so it confused me. The pasta ended up being delicious, cheesy and flavorful. The Caesar salad was perfect and the fries really did hit the spot. The Femme Fatale was a delicious cocktail, and paired well with our food. What a great place to kill some time in Southlake while the hubby had a lunch meeting! I sat at the bar, and Rhett was ready to help me with my first day of summer day drinking. I got the burata caprese salad with a filet. It was so good! The bar was slow, but I imagine it's hopping for dinner. The seats were comfy enough that I polished off 2 glasses of Chardonnay, and I finished my book. Hubby was raving about the egg rolls, so I'd like to go back for dinner and give them a try. He got the Cobb salad with grilled chicken and was disappointed in it lack of flair. Sat at the bar today and Armon was amazing!!! I made a mistake and thought my cocktail was supposed to be $10 and I was charged $13. I asked him about it and he immediately, no questions asked, changed it to $10. Now THAT is service. I felt bad, truly, because I was wrong. But he said "anything to make you happy". Was definitely too hot to sit outside but I enjoyed the upstairs area. The hostess and my waitress were really nice and answered all my questions. My waitress checked on me enough and she was just great. Spicy pineapple margarita: 8/10 drink was pretty good but it was a little too spicy for my taste. Cheesesteak egg rolls: 8/10 these were delicious and I wish they gave you more than 2 that are cut in half - 4 pieces total. But taste wise, these were phenomenal. Salmon: 6/10 the lemon dill sauce pairs perfectly with the salmon. I was not a fan of the salt crust. It was too salty and I had to end up eating from the bottom of the salmon to avoid it. Not a fan. Nutella bread pudding: 4/10 I was looking forward to this and it was a disappointment. The most flavor was in the ice cream. The whipped cream was bland and so was the bread pudding. All I tasted was chocolate - which isn't a bad thing but my taste buds just weren't feeling it. I didn't realize the bread pudding was an up charge for restaurant week. Service was slow and lacked engagement.The salad came out dry with a pot of green sludge as dressing that was tasteless. I think, they think providing a refrigerated, bed of greens slapped with sliced eggs, onions- some kind of bacon bits (looked manufactured) is what a great tossed salad looks like. NOT- it looked like it was unwrapped from the salad section at Kroger and brought to our table. The burger was dry - the wine had cork in it. In their defense the vibe was fun, just don't eat there. Order a drink - Oh I forgot, we had the spiniach dip that looked like repurposed goop with a candy topping, that we had to crack to get to the goop. We made a reservation with a note to celebrate a special occasion. There was no acknowledgment by the wait staff for the occasion we were there to celebrate. Drinks and salad orders were taken promptly. The salads were the only good thing in our meal. The main course dishes were nothing to rave about. The ambience of the restaurant has an upscale feel. Service was definitely a lowlight at this establishment. We had to ask for cutlery, fish & chips was served without tartar sauce, had to be reminded about our drinks order. The worst of all was the staff sweeping the floor and cleaning the restaurant in between getting food orders at 8 PM, which was an hour away from closing time. No wonder there were service misses and I don't want to begin talking about hygiene. Not what you expect in a 'so called' fine dining restaurant. Food was great! Drinks were delicious! But I must say the poor bartender, Hannah, upstairs was put in a position where she did GREAT but was asking for help and no one stayed to help. She was taking orders, putting orders in, making all the drinks and doing her best to keep up, make customers happy. Was she new? I have no idea but there were two maybe three big parties, a full room of people inside and people loading up outside. And this girl did it on her own. With a 20-25 min assistance from what looked like a manager named Lis. (I know this bc friend asked her her name bc she was standing around aftwards.) And we were there for about 2 hours. Would have been less had someone offered to get our ticket cause we were sitting there for 20 mins waiting, looking around for someone to help. Can't take up the one and only bartender who's making drink after drink! But she did finally come and take the payment. Just FYI people quit when there is no help. And if Hannah left yall me and my friends would be like "you go girl" that's not how you keep people! read more

Such a wonderful spot! Great venue, the service was top notch and the food is amazing. We had a party of ten with two other larger groups in the same area. Even so they were very busy, food and drinks came out in a timely manner! Prices were not as high as I had an excepted either. I ordered the steak salad and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. I also had the Pineapple jalapeño margarita and would definitely order again. Our server had only been there a month and you would have never known he was new. It had been a while since we visited Del Frisco's Grill for happy hour, but it was just as delicious as I remembered. Their happy hour menu is available Monday through Thursday from 3 PM to 6 PM, offering several appetizers and drinks for $10 each. I'm a big fan of the pineapple-flavored VIP martini! The cheesesteak egg rolls are always a go-to appetizer, and you get four pieces. We also ordered the wings naked, and the 8 meaty wings came with avocado ranch, celery, and carrots--really tasty. Even with the 90° weather outside, the fans and shade on the upstairs patio kept us cool with a nice breeze. We beat the crowd and received attentive service. Along with the appetizers, we enjoyed a scrumptious crab cake, chicken sandwich, and steak sandwich. Dinner is pricey for an everyday meal, but I can't wait to go back and do it all again for happy hour or date night! read more

I came to treat myself for my birthday. I've never been to Del Frisco's, but I was looking for coconut cream pie. One of my favorites. Came during happy hour and sat at the bar. I am a happy hour girl. I love it. A lovely drink, some snacks, a quieter atmosphere, I am here for it. Tyler was lovely and on top of the bar. I ordered the Malbec and ahi tuna tacos. The Malbec was very berry and a bit lighter than I was expecting, but I enjoyed it. And they give a good pour. Happy hour price is $10. The tuna tacos were also $10 and were FIRE. Oooh. Crispy wonton wrappers, creamy avocado, fresh tuna, and a citrusy sauce. The description said spicy, but I got nothing off of that. The citrus cut through and was delicious, though. Ten out of ten. I ordered the coconut cream pie to go, sans the white chocolate shavings. It is HUGE. It is like a whole 6 inch pie. I tasted it once I got home and it is ok. A VERY thick base, but it is holding a custard. Vanilla custard with some coconut, fresh whipped cream with some more coconut. it just isn't quite coconutty enough for me. It wasn't too sweet, which I like, I do wish that they would toast the coconut on top more to bring out the flavor. But that is just for my personal taste. It really can't be too much for me. Del Frisco's is pricey and won't be part of my regular stops, but I can definitely see myself coming here for those ahi tuna tacos. read more
