9 oz fillet with baked potato
    Robert G.

Came here for dinner while in town. Sat right down for dinner with reservation. Served right away. Got a few beers and warm bread served. Ordered a wedge salad, filet, baked potato and mashed potatoes. Wedge salad was very good. Filets were like butter and very good. Potatoes very good. Shared a 1/2 brownie sundae. Too good. 3 managers came to our table to make sure our meal was satisfactory. Excellent ambiance. Really good meal at a price that is very reasonable.

Wow, where do I start? Ambiance and service was spectacular. I Felt like having a steak for a celebratory dinner and wanted to try somewhere new. Bob's hit it out of the park. I wanted to try a little of everything. Before ordering Calamari, I asked the waitress if they had tentacles. To my surprise, they do! This is the first place I've found tentacles in a very long time. What happened to all the tentacles? You can't have a squid without tentacles. I think I'll open an investigation into this. OK, rant over. The Calamari was amazing! My only suggestion is I would've liked a sweet and sour sauce as I don't feel Cocktail sauce compliments it. Tossed salad was superb. You could taste the freshness with every bite. Now for the filet! Yaaaaaaasss! It hit spot. The glazed carrot although amazing, was too much. Where do they find a carrot that massive? Holy cow. The mashed potatoes were whipped to perfection. Not pictured was the carrot cake as I was so stuffed, that I had to get the dessert to-go. I snacked on the cake for 2 days as it was a massive 2 slices. Everything was perfect! I can't wait to return.

What really sets Bob's apart is their level of service and . Went while I was in Grapevine Texas for a conference. Had heard from a lot of people attending the conference that if I wanted a good steak and a restaurant with ambiance to give Bob's a try. From the moment we arrived it was five star service. Someone opened the door for us and the hostess greeted us with a smile. Inside it looks like a fine dining establishment. Lovely decor and immaculately clean. Waiter was very nice and helpful with offering what people enjoy ordering from the menu items. I was intrigued by the Kansas City Strip steak and divided I had to give it a try. I ordered it medium and it came out on a warm plate just as a requested. It had a lovely char to the exterior with a warm pink center. It came with 2 sides included. I had the carrot and the mashed potatoes. This had to have been the largest carrot I had ever seen at a restaurant. The carrot was good but far too much for me to finish. I was able to completed finish the at delicious steak. For the entire meal we received excellent service. Monte the director of something smh, I can't remember. But I do remember how he worked the room and stopped at each table to make sure everyone was enjoying their dining experience. A great time and I will come next time I am in town.

Wow! Just wow! That was our reaction as we ate the amazingly juicy steak and garlic potatoes. We came to Bob's for our 4th anniversary and they seated us at a cute secluded booth table away from the crowds. The ambiance was quiet and had great mood lighting. Our waitress Isabelle S. was truly welcoming and friendly. We wanted to put out a special mention that she made our anniversary very special. We ate our complimentary carrot cake we got for our anniversary back at the hotel. Even a few hours later it was still the best carrot cake we have had. Thank you Bob's for a truly wonderful dinner and anniversary experience!

Me and some friends stopped into Bob's tonight for a great dining experience. The service and atmosphere was better than expected. I had a lackluster experience at the Bob's in downtown Fort Worth but not here. Started with the fried calamari and the shrimp and both were really good and the cocktail sauce was a good combination. Then moved to my filet which was cooked perfectly and very tender. The glazed carrot was delicious. The creamed spinach was fantastic and went with the filet. The dessert is where it definitely had me because I tried 3 of them. The Strawberry Shortcake should be nicknamed "Strawberry Tall Cake". I'm not normally a cheesecake fan but the Amaretto Cheesecake was delicious. The Carrot Cake was the show stopper for me and had a great spice cake sponge and a good cream cheese frosting. This was a fantastic evening.

I love bobs! The atmosphere great and The steaks are always perfect and the skillet potatoes to die for but that carrot is the real reason for coming. Normally I would give 5 stars however this visit the waitress almost killed me!! I was very explicit that I HAVE A TOMATO ALLERGY!! Many times I said this!!! Many!!! I even carry 2 EpiPens just in case! However this night I ordered a side of green beans- well guess what!!! Tomatoes in it!! WTH. thankful that we caught that before I dug into the dish or that would've been my last check in. Management should do a better job of explaining this to staff.

Easily the best steak I've ever had in my life. I got the 9 ounce filet and my husband got the 14 ounce New York Strip. We both got the mashed potato and loved it. For dessert we got the brownie sundae, it was ginormous! But delicious! The service was great! Very kind and attentive. The only downside is the restaurant is very loud. And our experience was made even louder because the table next to us had about 20 people, and were celebrating a birthday which culminated in an engagement. Which was fun to witness, but they were very loud!! We didn't mind too much, but it did change the ambiance of our own quiet celebration as there were lots of people up and down, shouting, and clapping. But that won't happen every time obviously! Overall it's a great experience and I definitely recommend!

This fine place exudes old school wood paneled elegance, with warm southern hospitality. From the moment you walk in, you're warmly greeted and waited on by team of excellent servers, managers, and the sommelier! The food was absolutely delicious. The menu is packed with fabulous steakhouse classics that are executed perfectly, but the specials excited me! I experienced my first veal tomahawk! This definitely an excellent place for a fancy and romantic date night, as well as any special occasion for a large party

Finally stopped in for date night when we were in grapevine a few weeks ago. We normally eat next door at Mi dia- also delicious! Food was great! I had the steak & husband had the fish special. We both enjoyed our meals. It is a little loud, different vibe than we expected. Service was amazing- shout out to our waiter! Will be back.

First I am not a local, I came here for a work trip and dinner was part of the trip. Let me say our server was amazing, I sadly do not remember her name, but she was extremely helpful and the main reason for 4 stars if not for her it would have been 3. There was 10 of us if I recall correctly, let's just say the bourbon pours were on par. We ordered several appetizers including scallops that were not seared, but were okay, shrimp with BBQ sauce that were a little overcooked and the calamari was rubbery overcooked. My sea bass was perfectly prepared. And another reason for 4 stars. I got crème brûlée for dessert, which was good and hard to mess up. I did order with a double espresso that tasted like slightly strong coffee, yes I know espresso. I have a Bezzera machine at home so I know what espresso should taste like. The place felt very upscale, but my overall experience was saved by the waitress as she was amazing.

Date night at Perry's last night!…read more First things first: Perry's is gorgeous. Modern, upscale, and elegant without making you feel like you're about to be judged for holding your fork wrong. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Unfortunately, our first dinner companion was...a fly. I know this is Texas and flies don't exactly RSVP, but this one seemed determined to experience fine dining right alongside us. Eventually it either found another table or met its untimely demise. Either way, peace was restored. The manager stopped by within the first 20 minutes to check on us (his visit was unrelated to the fly), which was appreciated. Our server was prompt, friendly, and had excellent timing throughout the meal. The only miss? She gave us the speed-run version of the menu and never mentioned any of Perry's signature dishes. She didn't realize it was our first visit until we were paying the check, which explains why we unknowingly skipped what they're apparently famous for. The warm bread arrived early with butter so soft it practically spread itself. Dangerously good. We split the Caesar salad, and honestly, it may have been my favorite part of the meal. Lightly dressed with house-made croutons and seasoned sunflower seeds, every bite had crunchy, citrusy, salty/spicy goodness that somehow all worked together beautifully. For our entrees, my husband ordered the cedar plank-fired redfish, and I went with the special Beef Wellington. We both had the exact same thought after a few bites: the seasoning was winning the battle...against everything else. We love bold seasoning, but it felt like all the flavors were competing for attention instead of letting what seemed to be beautiful cuts of fish and beef shine. The loaded mashed potatoes, however? Zero notes. Cheesy, whipped, buttery perfection. Dessert was the chocolate chip bread pudding with homemade toasted marshmallow, and this is where things really surprised us--in the wrong direction. It somehow managed to be bread pudding...without much flavor. I didn't think that was possible, but here we are. Completely underwhelmed. To wash down our dessert disappointment, we ended the night with the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini. And honestly? It almost redeemed everything. It tasted like the most decadent chocolate milk you've ever had--with just enough espresso to make it feel classy. This drink is dangerous in all the best ways because it goes down far too easily. Order one...just don't blame me when you immediately want a second. As we were leaving, we finally learned the real star of Perry's is the famous pork chop. Then one was delivered to the table next to us. Y'all...that thing looked about five inches tall, carved into slices like a pie, and could probably feed a small family. Holy moly. Final verdict: beautiful restaurant, attentive service, and some genuinely great bites. But if you're a first-timer, do yourself a favor and order the pork chop. Apparently, that's the move. Guess we'll have to go back and let the giant pork chop have its chance at redemption.
