This place is very good! The service is good and the food is also very good. Happy hour I would say is definitely a hack, they have some great deals. When you order your steak, it comes on a very hot metal plate. Therefore, be mindful when ordering and either order one temperature down or remove it from the hot plate once it arrives because it will indeed keep cooking. Also, the au gratin potatoes do have a lot of leeks (onions) in them which is not advertised on the menu so that was a bit of a disappointment. I am all about transparency on a menu and if you're like my husband and will not eat any onion at all maybe choose a different side.

I reviewed this place in 2022 and I said that I don't think I'd be back. Well I guess I lied. I came here for lunch on a Friday to get their pork chop deal. I believe you can get the pork chop deal before 5:00 p.m. for $22. The pork chop is also available for takeouts but they tack on 15% gratuity. Honestly this is a very good deal and when I was there on a Friday I think everybody was getting it. It's a lot of food. The pork drop was a little bit sweet on the outside and crispy and the inside was juicy. It also comes with the small side of applesauce and mashed potatoes. We also got beef carpaccio to share which was a nice light appetizer to start the meal. We ended the meal with bread pudding and it was amazing. Service was good and fairly quick even though it was packed for Friday lunch. If anything come here on Friday before 5:00 to get the pork chop deal.

Consistently yummy at Perry's regardless of location. This is almost always our go to steakhouse whenever we are in Texas. The ambience is great for business dinner and servers are always professional and friendly. Love love love the smorgasbord of awesome well prepared steaks and pork chops and don't get me started on the pork chops. They are definitely one of the most memorable one I have ever had.

Well I had lots of exceptions here. my bad. server and service was great. I guess I forgot to read that the wedge salad had blue cheese. gross. the bread was okay. the steak was not as medium rare as I liked. the flavor also wasn't there for me. The pork chop was very sugary, I think that's why my husband loved it so much. I didn't. the Brussel sprouts were "Sriracha" and that was a lie. no spice at all. more like sugar. the mashed potatoes I think were the only good part here and the water.

    Dinner-Cut Pork Chop Sooooooo good

I've had Perry's on our list to do for a long time. We've heard about the amazing thick cut pork chop and decided to finally make a reservation. Of course it's a nice steak house so we dressed business casual...and fit in just fine. Once we stepped inside on the early Saturday night...I was taken aback by how elegant, but not over the top it was inside. It definitely has the upscale steak house decor but never felt arrogant or stuffy. Our server (her name is Hailey) was five star service, with a smile, all night. In fact, the service was absolutely what I would expect from a fine dining steakhouse. They were always there when we needed them but didn't bother us too much. I can't say enough good things about Hailey. She was knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing. A perfect combination! I opted for the pork chop and my wife had the prime ribeye. We split the whipped potatoes and brussel sprouts. The sides are huge by the way. We couldn't even eat half of them. My wife La steak was the best steak either one of us have EVER had. The prime was tender, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Likewise, the pork chop was huge but so full of flavor. We had to take half of our dinner home because the portions were so big. Perry's deserves a 6th !

Surf & Turf Pasta* - substituted angle hair noodles for thicker noodles

Perry's is our favorite place to take people when they come in from out of town! The many times we've been we have never tried something we weren't a fan of. Our most recent waitress Anna was an absolute gem. Her kind soul and knowledge of the menu absolutely made our dining experience a 10/10. She was able to easily suggest multiple drinks, appetizers, and entrees after just telling her a few things about my preferred taste in food. The atmosphere can seem a bit crowded but even still everything is extremely clean and comfortable.

Great service, nice atmosphere good for groups and date night, loud but not crazy. Enjoyed many appetizers and desserts, all were great. I ordered the trio steak and it was fabulous. The peppercorn and coffee crusted were amazing. Enjoyed many sides to share as well. List of items we ordered (all were fabulous!): asparagus, chargrilled oysters, scallops, pork bites, Brussels sprouts, chocolate cake & crème brule. Parking was easy, business casual or business attire is appropriate

Still great. Pork chops are the bomb. Pineapple ginger mojitos are awesome. Nuff said

I usually love coming to this location but today, not so much. I sat at the bar and it took about 5 minutes for her to acknowledge me, it wasn't that busy and then another 10 for my drink. I noticed she didn't ask me if I needed a menu for food. However, when others sat down that was the first thing she asked. Now here's why you came: Thyme lemon drop 9/10: this drink was great. So much so that I had 3. Get it...you won't be disappointed. Steak tater bites 6/10: you only get 2 and my tater tots were not warm at all. It's a nice combo though, but be warned the steak on top is medium. Not a problem for me but if you don't like pink meat, ask for it well or however you like it. Pecan salad 9/10: not a big fan of arugula but I liked the flavors in this salad. Perfect amount salad dressing, pecans and the flavors just go well together. Pork chop 9/10: star of the show and what I come here for. It never disappoints and I've never had a bad one. (Forgot to take a pic) Lemon bar 10/10: this was a literal bar! This was so good though! The meringue took it to another level. Perfect crust to filling ratio. They need to keep this on the menu.

The crab cakes were delicious. The Koji-aged filet was tender and flavorful. The staff were friendly, but the bar service can be not very attentive. The interior is very nice. I would definitely come again for a special occasion!

What to add to the other reviews? Elegant atmosphere but also comfortable - nicer attire would be appropriate. We went for our anniversary celebration and discovered we were dining among many other anniversary tables - you could tell because we all had fresh red rose petals perfectly placed. What a lovely touch! We missed the white Tablecloth but maybe the roses would stain them, thus the lack thereof. Jada was our excellent waitperson and made everything flow smoothly - all perfectly timed. Pork chop is just to die for and the scallops and pasta were fantastic. On a cold blustery night, a warm cocktail seemed appropriate Opted for the Paper Plane instead of an old fashioned. Best decision of the evening! They are a wickedly delicious bourbon drink. So hope it stays permanently! Thanks Perry's for a wonderful meal and experience!

Had lunch here the day after Christmas - Great food at a reasonable price. The Friday lunch pork chop special is an amazing value at $22. My bacon jam burger was crazy good and the 2 slabs of bacon were uber good. Service was good;; try the Blueberry cucumber martini.

Celebrated my Birthday Dinner at Perry's and it's the perfect place for special occasions. Atmosphere and service are both top notch. The food is just DELICIOUS!!! So good that we dug right in and I didn't get photos of my 6" pork-chop (the absolute best!) or his filet mignon. If you have been to Perry's check it out for your next celebration or date night.

Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Departing, we talked about what we will order next time. We will be back to Craftway Kitchen!

Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.

It comes with black beans, corn, avocado, and chili, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors worked really well together. I also built two custom bowls. The first with chicken, quinoa, sweet corn, and red chili-glazed sweet potatoes with added extra chicken. The second again with chicken, cauliflower risotto, and olive oil-roasted vegetables. Both were excellent. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the sauces complemented each ingredient perfectly. To drink, I had the mango green tea, which was refreshing and perfect for a hot day. They also have outdoor seating, which looked nice, but it was way too hot outside, so I chose to sit indoors. The service was smooth despite how busy they were. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fresh, flavorful, and satisfying meal.

We had noticed…read moreFirebirds every time we were in the area, so we finally decided it was time to see what all the fuss was about. (Well... maybe luck had a little something to do with it. ) As soon as we walked through the doors, we were warmly greeted by Ms. Jenna, our hostess. She welcomed us with a beautiful smile, was very polite and kind, and escorted us to a booth in Ms. Destinee's section. While we were there, we also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Corin, the General Manager. He was full of energy, very welcoming, and genuinely seemed excited to have us there. It didn't take long to notice that his positive attitude had rubbed off on his staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and worked together as a team. That speaks volumes about his leadership. Luckily for us, we had just missed the lunch rush, so we were seated immediately without any wait. The restaurant itself was very clean, well organized, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. They also offer an outdoor dining area that was just as clean and well maintained as the inside. Ms. Destinee, our server, was wonderful. She was polite, welcoming, explained the menu, and gave us plenty of time to look everything over while bringing us glasses of water. To start, we ordered the Ranch Rings (onion rings) from the shareable menu for $13.75. They arrived hot, crispy, evenly battered, and perfectly seasoned. My only complaint was the cilantro, which just isn't my favorite. For our entrées, we all ordered from the "Perfect Pair" menu. My daughter chose the BLT sandwich with the Killer Mac & Cheese for $14.95. She absolutely loved it! The bread was nicely toasted, the sandwich was well seasoned, and the mac and cheese definitely lived up to its name. We also ordered the Salmon Club Sandwich with a Caesar salad for $14.95. The salmon was delicious, and the Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful. I went with the Crispy Chicken Sandwich paired with a cup of their Tortilla Chicken Soup for $14.95. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. As for the soup... it was so good I honestly wished I had ordered another cup! Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience from beginning to end. Great food, excellent service, and an amazing atmosphere. Mr. Corin is doing an exceptional job, and his staff is a true reflection of his leadership. Without a doubt, I'll be coming back again. I hope to see y'all there!

It was a great way to kick off our lunch. It just hit lunch time, so the restaurant wasn't too busy and we decided to take a seat at the bar for our meal. The restuarant is beautiful, great decor, very bright yet great seating for small or large parties. It looked like there was private dining also available! As we perused the menu, we were greeted promptly by our bartender, who's name is slipping my mind, he was such a sweet guy! He gave us some excellent food and drink recommendations. The one drink I went with that he recommended was their 21-day pineapple infused vodka martini. Shaken beautifully and poured into an ice cold martini glass and dressed with a fresh pineapple wedge. It was nice, crisp, cold, and delightfully fresh! For the food, I was originally thinking a burger, bc it's a smokehouse, and that's what they specialize in, over the fire cooking, but his recommendation on the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich sounded too good to pass up, and in fact, had a missed it, I'd be missing out!!! The sandwich was huge, and after the camera eating first, I took my first big bite, and it was so flavorful. The chicken was hot, crunchy, sweet, with a little spice, crisp pickles, cheese melted as I took each bite. Just a great burst of flavors. The fries I liked very much, and now thinking back on it, should've ordered a side of the sauce they had on the sandwich to dip those fries in. My sister order the 1/2 ribs, which she says were really good, along with a side of au gratin potatoes, that looked like they came from someone's moms kitchen! She left nothing on that plate!!! This was a great first impression of the restuarant, and I look forward to trying them again, something that can be kissed by that flame!

Our server, Macy, made some excellent recommendations, and everything we tried was delicious. The chicken and waffles were a highlight--the chicken was lightly breaded, beautifully seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy, and the waffles were delicious too. What really made this place stand out, though, was the exceptional attentiveness from the entire team. It wasn't just Macy; staff members regularly came by to refill our water, add ice, and refresh our cold-brewed tea. The manager herself stopped by several times to make sure our drinks were topped up and that everything was going well. That level of genuine care makes such a difference. It's the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again and eventually make a place your local favorite. The area itself is lovely, with plenty of little restaurants and shops to explore, and there's also plenty of free parking nearby.
