I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant the other night. I figured I would check it out as a potential future date location. The atmosphere was nice, and the service staff was attentive. The main dining room is not very large, I would say it was intimate, unfortunately, due to size, it was a little noisy. Not sure if it had to do with the group size next to me, but something I will consider if I choose to come back. I ordered the Fried Calamari as an appetizer, the 12 oz NY Strip as my main course, and Brussels sprouts with bacon as a side. I am not sure if I came in at the wrong time or what, but the calamari, which came as a large size for sharing, was mostly just crumbs and a great deal of breading. The calamari itself was small. The New York strip was prepared medium/rare, had a nice flavor, but was a little salty. The Brussels Sprouts/ bacon was, in my opinion, just ok. All in all, it is a nice place on my side of town, not sure if they meet my needs on date night, but I'm willing to give them another try if I'm in the mood to splurge. read more

My husband and I dined here spontaneously after trying to come a handful of times before. We live locally and have been wanting to try it out after hearing great reviews about the food! The dining area is pretty small and intimate. Although there was a large party dining at the time that we were there, I wouldn't say it's best intended for that. I think that this setting is best suited for small groups or a date night. The service was great even with how busy it was. My husband got the nightly steak and lobster special I think it was and I opted for a regular steak with a side of chimichurri sauce. For dessert, we got a cheesecake and creme brûlée. We ran into this place. It seemed like a mix of fancy, but you can still dress casual. This is a nice steakhouse with a dining area, a separate bar area, and a patio area. I initially wanted to sit in the patio area, but there was a lack of shade and bugs flying around. We ended up opting for the dining area. Our waiters were super nice, sorry I couldn't remember his name. We ended up ordering the steak bruschetta. And this appetizer blew our mind. I didn't expect the steak to be so tender and the sauce to be so delicious. We inhale this in under five minutes. We had two children with us. One had the chicken tenders and fries and the other had a spaghetti and red sauce, which they both enjoyed my husband had spaghetti and red sauce along with grilled chicken. He seemed to have enjoyed it. My sister-in-law had the steak salad and she said it was good as well, the dressing was just perfect. I ordered the fillet, cream, spinach, and a mushroom risotto. I was disappointed in the mushroom risotto as it was super watery and simply had no element of risotto in it. Please refer to my picture. The fillet was cooked to perfection and was really delicious along with the cream spinach. The bread brought out in the beginning was very warm and good as well. Great experience from the time I walked until we left. At first it was a little dark but the lights were brought up a little after being seated which made it easier to read the menu and brought the mood up a bit. There was a piano player/singer that was pretty good and a nice touch. Our sever was awesome, helpful and attentive and had a great vibe making it fun. She made great recommendations was great to chat with our table, and took great care of us. I have to mention the busser/server assistant was great as well he always made sure our waters were filled, my ice tea was never empty for more than a minute, and was just an all around great worker that really seemed to care to be attentive and helpful. The food was so good. Everything about the entree which was a special was perfect. Portion was good, Chilean sea bass was like butter, crab meat and shrimp were a great addition that complemented the sea bass, the lemon sauce was a perfect touch, mushroom risotto was cooked perfectly and was so good, and the asparagus was good as well. Finished the meal with the chocolate lava cake which was delicious and wasn't too sweet or overpowering to make you forget the dinner. If or when I'm back in the area I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. read more

I had the wedge salad and it was amazing I then had the new York strip with a baked potato, Bacon Brussel sprouts and sautéed mushrooms all were over the top delicious . I decided to try this restaurant for the first time because I had heard good things, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When we first walked in, nobody attended us at the hostess desk for quite a while. Once we finally got seated, our server, an older lady I believe named Jennifer, made us feel rushed the entire time. She was not very attentive whenever we needed something, and it felt like we were inconveniencing her just by asking for basic things. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I also noticed her sitting with other tables laughing and chatting while our table was neglected. I reserved a table for a '26 Valentine's dinner with my wife. The entire restaurant was a 20 x 20ish room with no decor. Only 4 dead/browning rose petals on the table with T- light in the center. They had someone playing a keyboard and trying hard to sing random songs. It was too loud for such a small area and unfortunately not a good performance. It interrupted couples trying to enjoy a intimate dinner. The food was presented well and our steak had perfect char marks on it. Unfortunately our 14 oz boneless ribeye was not even 1 inch think, which of course led to being over cooked. The steak looked, tasted, and had texture more like a sirloin than a ribeye. For the $50+ a la carte menu price, it was a severe disappointment. I could have gone to Roadhouse Steakhouse and eaten a sirloin for $20 with two sides and had a better food experience. Lastly I brought up to the staff that we were uncomfortable because it was cold in the dining area. We were told, "unfortunately you are at the end of a busy night and a lot of the body heat has left." We were there at 7:45pm. Nothing was done to address the temperature. Three bright lights were the champaign dressing the chef made for my salad, the Mac-n- cheese, and the personality of our server. A manager never stopped by or table to check on us, even though at one point there were only 6 tables occupied. I will discourage others from dining at the Keller Chophouse, and throwing their hard earned money. read more

This was my first time at Keller Chophouse and I must say that the service was phenomenal! We were celebrating our anniversary and the server did such a great job of making us feel special! She was very knowledgeable on the menu and offered so many suggestions! I ended up choosing the salmon which was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I have to update my review from a couple of years ago. My wife and I had our early Valentines dinners last night 2/10. We had such a wonderful experience that we were looking forward to it. Well, in all honestly my updates review should be a 2.5 out of 5. Granted it was busy. I'll give them that. The only thing that saved them really was our amazing waitress #524(they don't even list their names on the receipts). She rocked and tried to make it better. Here's my Chief complaint. We spent just under $300 with one glass of wine each, salads, steaks and dessert. That's with tax and generous tip. So that's a very high end price. They don't deliver the high end experience for what they are charging. We were sat and nobody came to check on us for a few mins. Our waitress came to us and asked us if anybody had helped us yet. Tells me they are disorganized. We had to ask a busboy for bread after he gave everyone else bread. The salads were good but not great. I ordered 8oz filet medium and my wife 6oz medium rare. They mixed it up and I had to trade with my wife. Since the cooks weren't right in the steaks. The steak was good but not great. Here's a big one....there were several waiters that every &@$!? time they walked by me or my wife's chair they bumped into hard. Every single friggin time. Very unprofessional. You can't charge high end prices with that level of service. We will NOT be back. read more

If you are looking for a very fancy dining with an excellent service this is the place to be. I was here about two years ago. This restaurant has great seafood selections even it's a steakhouse. My son and his wife were visiting so I wanted to go back to the Keller chophouse so everyone in my family will remembered our last 2023 dinner was. Five of us went and we ordered 5 totally different dishes. Also we ordered the wedge salad and ceser salad. We also ordered Brussels sprouts and 12 for Parmesan french fries for our sides. I loved their salads and side dishes were just unforgettable. My Server was very professional. She heard my son and I are splitting a steak. I did not ask her to cut the steak however, my server went above beyond she had my steak split it and presented when we got on our table. I had a great service and great food with perfect seasoned dishes. We did not leave any food behind. Everything was yummy. The atmosphere is very quiet dark lighting. Great place for couples. Bartenders Can Make Or Break Your Small Business! I know, I just put alot of weight on a bartender but hear me out...I recommend Keller Chophouse mainly because of their amazing bartender Jesse. On a whim I decided to stop in at Keller Chophouse because I found out one of the best bartenders in Keller was back:)! The last time I visited Keller Chophouse was in May and I had a mediocre time. This time was wonderful...the difference was Jesse the bartender. Jesse convinced me to get their burger and it was ok. It had avocado which I loved, but there was a chargrilled/burnt taste to the meat that I just couldn't get over...I sat at the bar. I had a spicy margarita, burger, regular fries, truffle fries (the truffle parmesan fries were better than the regular fries), and a cocktail with fresh blueberries. The service was A+! I will go back soon and I will make sure Jesse the bartender is there:). He is worth the visit. This can get a little pricey but that's to be expected, it's a steakhouse:). There is happy hour during the week from 4-7. The parking is not so great here, so be prepared to walk if you don't get there early. read more

Went to Keller Chophouse for my birthday dinner early (4:30pm) on a Saturday and it was nice and quiet with only 2 tables seated. Although I specified we were celebrating a birthday in making the reservation, nothing special was done which is disappointing given similar restaurants are able provide that extra special service without prompting. I ordered the 2016 Duckhorn half bottle for $75, but received a 2018 version that was cold, not chilled, but cold rendering the red wine flavorless. I should of complained but I didn't see our server for long stretches and ended up drinking the wine anyway, defiantly not worth the price tag- at all. Overall the service is fine for a restaurant, below expectations for a fine dining experience. Now the food was amazing. Delicious. I wouldn't change a thing. I had the short rib and my partner a steak and Brussel sprouts, I'd give 5 stars for food flavor, presentation and portion size (as it pertains to price per plate). Recommend the staff pay attention to special events, even if it's missed on the reservation simply asking the table if something was being celebrated and having a small way of making the event memorable would pay dividends. Also, the storage of the wine (again my red was cold!) and delivery of what patrons pay for (2016) vs what they get (2018) needs to be inspected. Paying $75 was too steep for this misstep. I'd give Chophouse a 3.5 for failing to meet expectations of a fine dining restaurant. If I do eat here again it will be a Togo order. read more

This is the first time my boyfriend and i have came to Keller Chophouse. We have been told to come here so many times by so many different people so we finally made it out for date night. I will start by saying the place is VERY nice inside. Everyone is so welcoming. We got sat with our server, Kevin. He was so helpful when it came to menu questions. when he brought our calamari he added the chipotle aïoli sauce because he said it was one of his favorites. I will say it was definitely delicious and i recommend adding that sauce with your calamari. The steak was unreal. I've never had such a good steak before. It is now #1 in my books!! We went here for my birthday dinner, Saturday 1/22/22. I was so looking foreword to a lobster tail. Unfortunately my lobster arrived at the table and smelled rancid. I let our server know, she smelled it immediately took it away and apologized. I know it wasn't her fault, the chef should have caught that before it was served. Almost amazing... I honestly hope someone from this restaurant reads this because they're so close to greatness. Great cocktails! Steak: cooked perfectly, quality cut of meat. However, if you look at all the photos they cook their steaks on a grill not pan seared which is okay and has a good flavor. But, the steak desperately needs a butter finish... think that famous steak house sell the sizzle. This would have been a top notch steak with a garlic herb butter finish Brussel Sprout: cooked well tender and crispy with some nice saltiness from the bacon. However the sprouts are slathered in this sriracha cream sauce which is a good sauce but there is way too much sauce think a salad with way too much dressing. These could have been epic by simply putting the cream sauce on the side and letting the diner choose their own adventure. I hope y'all can put my feedback into action. Cheers! read more

It's under seasoned and not what you what you would expect for a $50 steak. We were surprised as we had our wedding dinner there right after they opened and it was excellent. The hostess created us immediately and we were seated in the bar area. An Indi immediately greeted us at our table and the server (bartender) greeted us and gave us great recommendations. The chopped salad was very delicious. The boneless ribeye, creamed spinach and sautéed mushrooms were very good. The pecan crusted chicken was tasty, but just a bit overcooked.
