We were hoping to eat at Salvianos but it was packed and we didn't make a reservation. So we were still looking for pizza and stumbled upon Speezzas. When we arrived we found out it was the same owner as Salvianos so we knew we'd were in the right place!!! The bacon marmalade pizza is OMG! The meatballs were the best appetizer ever! One of the best pizza restaurants we've been. The kids raved about the Queso Italiano and the meatballs which was super moist. The star of the meal was the pizzas. The crust was super puffy, crunchy and chewy loaded with tons of flavors from the pizza sauce and toppings. The oven roasted veggies and arugula with prosciutto was a hit with the adults and the kids loved the pepperoni and meat lovers pizza. Sprezza is an undiscovered gem in Dallas. Their pizza crust is incredible, and they bake the pizzas in a traditional wood fire oven. Tonight was our second time trying this place. LOVE Saviano's and just felt this place would hit the same spot. Let me start by saying the pizza is AMAZINGLY delicious! However, we were disappointed with other elements. The first time we went, they had been open for 3 weeks and our pizzas took 1.5 hours. The server blamed it on our order getting confused as a duplicate order and accidentally thrown away. No biggie. We weren't starving and were patient. I remember drinking water from regular glasses that night. Fast forward to tonight, where we ordered water, like we normally do from restaurants, we were served a $4 bottle of Smart water between my husband and myself, poured into small styrofoam cups. No warning or options. Let's just say, that alone is enough that we won't ever dine in again. We will likely only visit this place for takeout. The server was friendly, but never checked back with us after food delivery until it was time to give us our check. They were super slow, so it wasn't a matter of her being in the weeds. My husband did say the restroom was super nice and raved about it on the way home. Didn't see a drink menu outside the wine list and they advertise happy hour. Maybe there wasn't one since it was just outside HH?? If I was going off food alone, this would be a five-star. The styrofoam cups with the Smart water bottle is probably what sealed the deal for me to never dine in again, unless there is a change. read more

We walked in at 7:45pm on Saturday night. People there but not overwhelmingly busy. Several spaces open at the bar and a few tables inside and out available. Took at least 5 minutes to even be recognized. Hostess told us 20-30 min wait. We asked about the open places at the bar and were told that bar is also on a wait. After waiting 10 min, and watching additional spaces open up, we asked again about the bar and hostess again, unhelpfully, said we were welcome to sit at the bar but all of the tables would be ahead of us so it might be a bit. We left. Disappointed to say the least. Service like this will not make it here in Glade Parks and the reception area didn't create a welcoming response for a new business. This will need to be corrected quickly or it will not get off the ground, which will be sad for our area! read more

My wife and I went here for an early dinner earlier today. I had the Margherita Pizza and she had the Vesuvio Pizza. Both of them were magnificent. As I am originally from the NYC area of NJ and of Neopolitan Italian Heritage, I know what this style of pizza is supposed to taste like and this was great. The ambiance was very good. We've been wanting to try this place for awhile now. We finally made it on Saturday and can honestly say we found our new favorite pizza! First, the ambiance. The restaurant reminds me of an upscale trattoria in Italy, complete with authentic wood-burning oven. The pizza crust was delightfully crisp - not tough like so many so-called Neapolitan pizzas - and so much better than Il Cane Rosso in Dallas. I had the "cup and char" pepperoni pizza and it was great, as was their Margherita. After looking over the list of appetizers (wish we could have tried them all) we settled on the evening special of the calamari. When it came time to order desserts, we were disappointed to learn that they were sold out of my favorite, the Tiramisu. But our delightful server Gabbi suggested the chocolate cake and we were not disappointed. BTW, they also have a few pasta dishes on the menu and I am looking forward to trying them as well. What a great location and great place to bring kiddos with the artificial turf outside the patio for kids. Sal the owner is back and I have known him 35 years from the original Savianos at the old Taco Bell. I've read mixed reviews on this place. By all accounts the owners are wonderful people and have ties to Saviannos in Euless. Unfortunately our experience left much to be desired. To start, the menu was extremely limited. We ordered a pizza and some meatballs. Both were pretty good but nothing to write home about. What was annoying however was that my wife just wanted a water and they only have bottled water that you have to buy. There are also no refills on cokes which is annoying with a five year old. It's not an upscale restaurant but it feels like they are trying to be. For a self-proclaimed pizza joint it lacks the value I look for in a casual night out. read more

Absolutely delicious. We loved it so much we went back for round 2 a couple of days after our initial visit over the weekend. So far, we've tried the meatballs, caprese salad, Bianco, Margherita, and pepperoni pizzas, kids meals, and Caesar salads. Everything was cooked perfectly with bold flavors (not over powering) and perfectly balanced. I loved the big slices of garlic on my pizza and the caprese salad was the best I've had in Dfw.
