The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.

They grow their own delicious grapes right outside of the winery which makes for a nice photo opt. We walked in with no expectation other than to drink wine and we ending up find a great deal of valuable information about the founder and their wine. My husband and I were greeted at the door by host who escorted us a short distance to the gift shop where you check in for a $10 tasting and tour. You are provided with a menu with pre selected wine for the evening an our favorite was their very own Cynitanan wine that is made from the grapes outside the vineyard. The founder of Delaney Vineyards is a 3rd generation cotton farmer who followed his love and passion for wine. On the tour we were able to see fermentation tanks as well as their small bottling room where all the magic happens.

After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. We all even were above kind with thank yous and bright attitudes to be met with an annoyed stare and no response as we were seated. The hostess sets the tone - and for a party of 10 spending hundreds for a meal, at this point we were shocked. Our waitress was kind and funny. They were busy, so we waited a long time for water refills, and honestly, the waitstaff each looked frazzled. Any time someone came to our table, there was final eye contact, grumbles, and then they left. Be happy you're busy ... be kind... Perhaps this was an off night for staff? I waitressed for years, and I'm always surprised when the waitstaff is rude/ not overly friendly for a larger party ordering alcohol, dinner, and dessert.
