I wasn't sure what I expected walking into the Italian Crust but it's not what I found. The place is simple, sparsely appointed and a bit cold feeling. Formica tables with hard steel chairs. No large menu on the wall, just pamphlet sized ones at the register. Absolutely nothing that gives this place any feeling of permanence, beyond the hour you are here. The service here is nice enough. No complaints there, I ordered the Lunch Lasagna with a salad. I was mildly disappointed. It was more soupy than a structured lasagne. It tasted ok, and had the taste to be really good, but did not quite get there for me and left me with the feeling of "let me back there in the kitchen and show you how to make a real lasagna". Ordered food through Uber Eats. The pizza was way overcooked. In addition, the amount of cheese was scanned. I wonder if there was any cheese on the pizza. The flavor was mediocre. I received a rewards coupon for a free cheese pizza because I have ordered a lot of pizza from the facility. I used it and paid an up charge to make it pepperoni. So the fourth time in a row they sent me a cheese pizza. When I asked for a refund, they offered me the two dollars just for the pepperoni and would not replace my rewards for a free pizza because they said I got a cheese pizza. I did not order a cheese pizza and I told them I don't want anything else because I made other arrangements. I was again told I was given a cheese pizza and $2.00 refund. We had Uber deliver from Italian Crust. Thank goodness it was buy one, get one free pepperoni pizza because their pizza is bland at best. Sauce has zero flavor. The cardboard pizza box had more flavor than the pizza crust. Garlic cheese bread is supposed to have garlic. No garlic. Only redeeming item in the order was the salad. They keep serving food like this and they won't last long. read more

Recently ordered delivery from Italian Crust. Less than stellar. The spaghetti and meatballs I received were really bad. The meatballs were old and dried out and seem like they may have been previously frozen. Probably the least appetizing entree I have ever received, there is no way they would have served this in their restaurant. Also the pizza was incredibly tough and chewy. This place used to be located at my old job in Irving, and we used to go there all the time. We were really sad that he moved to a different location. Years later, with me working closer to Grapevine I found this place again w/ the same owner. Very nice and friendly guy. I love their cheese garlic bread, their Italian salad, and the Italian sub! I'd say overall was average for my experience. Service was quick, restaurant was clean, and prices were pretty cheap for lunch special. I was craving Alfredo so I ended choosing this place. Alfredo sauce didn't taste as authentic but still was not bad. Chicken tasted like it could've been pre-cooked, or maybe I'm being a little bit picky because I like some char on my chicken but there was none. I called and ordered the pizza directly from the restaurant. They said I could expect delivery anywhere from 15-20 minutes. After their quoted time, I called the restaurant, to let them know that the pizza has yet to be delivered. It was Super Bowl Sunday, we were looking forward to hot pizza, so when the flyer was left at our door earlier that day we decided to order. The pizza arrived after 45 minutes cold and hard like card board. It taste like a grilled cheese sandwich, hard cheese, dry with no sauce. The worst Pizza I ever had! When I call the restaurant to tell them that my pizza was cold due to its "late arrival" I was told to call back tomorrow... I would have preferred better customer service, surprisingly, that didn't happen. The next day the manager didn't even come to the phone. Forget this place! Not worth it!!! read more

5 stars all around! Facility was very clean which is always a nice way to enter into a restaurant. Staff was excellent, very personable, friendly and welcoming. Food, wow it was great! Started off with a generous portion side salad, followed by garlic cheese bread in the form of a very small pizza. And finally the worlds hottest lasagna. Some of the best in town! Stopped in on a whim... ordered a 10 inch cheese pizza for my 3 year old.. unfortunately for my diet I couldn't stop eating it. The crust is a perfect pan crust that you can fold while eating. The owner is very nice. I love supporting family owned local Restaurants... we need more of them in the area! We will be regulars. read more

Terrible pizza. We ordered a margherita pizza. This is a pizza with sauce, mozzarella and basil leaves. They literally put only 4 basil leaves. Then cut the pizza in six pieces. I asked about why they were so stingy with the basil that there were slices missing basil and they said that is how it comes. So I wrote a detailed review with photos. Guess what? My wife and I have been getting delivery from here since they were located in Las Colinas. Highly recommend! Everything is excellent and you get a lot of food for the money. We love their lasagna, spinach manicotti, and all their salads. Don't forget to a jalapeños on the cheese bread that comes with the pasta dishes! I and a friend came for lunch on a Saturday. We interacted with the owner, who was very friendly and warm. I loved the decor -- it was warm, bright, and clean. We had salads with their special, homemade sundried tomato dressing with extra virgin olive oil. It was totally awesome! We also had pizza -- a gourmet that was also really good.
