Been loving Wise Guys pizza in Grapevine for the past 4 years, so this review is way overdue. But tonight we were served by a new waiter, Wilson, and he was a ROCKSTAR! Super impressed - and Rachel, the manager, was simply amazing! They are so friendly, have great deals, and the pizza is amazing - get the thick crust. Visiting some friends here in town, they recommended this spot for takeout. We got two pizzas- bbq chicken and a classic pepperoni. The pizzas were GREAT. For takeout I'm used to orders being ready in 15-20 minutes, the order was ready in 35 minutes but well worth the wait. The wings (we got buffalo and bbq) were so good, not too fatty or dripping with sauce, perfect ratio of sauce to meat. We got garlic knots which were so good. Food is a 10/10. Dining room was moody, definitely your local pizza-joint kind of feel which is perfect for an easy family dinner or night out with friends. I recommend this spot if you're in the area. read more

First time in and probably found the best lunch deal in Grapevine...only 9.99 for a salad and a 2 Topping Personal Pizza. Add to that the complimentary Garlic Knots and I am leaving this place with my tummy full! Everything was pretty good. I also enjoyed the old time pizzeria ambiance of this place. It was a bit reminiscent of another old times pizza place I used to go to in the days of my youth! Kelsi both greeted me when I arrived and was my server. Walked in and was YEP this is a vibe!! Definitely a cool feeling place inside the joint. The service was great, friendly and very helpful. The food was definitely legit! The pizza was hot and fresh. Loved the hand tossed crust. The "dough balls" that they bring you before the meal were also really good. Follow up to my previous review about how fantastic this place is, both in food quality and service, but there was a major issue with there being a broken AC unit...in Texas...in July...for an extended length of time. A small restaurant with a patio in a shopping center, this place offers up more than just pizza. The menu is pretty large and covers calzones and sandwiches, salads, pastas, and more. The pizzas and garlic parmesan knots are where they seem to shine the most, though. A very casual sit-down restaurant with servers, and almost a sports bar vibe. Overall, we had a decent experience - our server made a few errors with our orders but amended them and was very kind about it all. He seemed new. The food itself was mediocre at best. Pizzas seemed to be the best thing to order. Salads and pastas were just okay. Nothing really stood out to me about the food. They do offer almost daily specials which is nice - like kids eat free on Mondays and free cinnamon sugar knots on Tuesdays, etc. Because it was a busy Friday night and the restaurant is small, it was very warm inside. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center and no reservations are needed, though you can call ahead for larger parties and they will try and accommodate you! read more

Absolutely the worse service I have ever had there. I was the only table until a table of 9 came in. I finally got up to get refills my own. I step into the edge or the opening to ask to refill my drinks, and my waiter told me to get out of the kitchen. I was at the opening of the kitchen not in the kitchen. I told him to stick the pizza up. paid and left without eating my pizza. My kids and I left and went somewhere else to eat. I do not see why I keep going back there to give this place another chance. Warm and inviting atmosphere combined with fantastic service and higher grade of food quality that I've just not had at anywhere around the area. I would highly recommend Wise Guys to anyone. Nice place for pizza and relaxation. Ordered 3 pizza one was the MARGHERITA CLASSICO, GODFATHER SUPREME, and build your own Canadian bacon with pepperoni. Only reason I have a 4, was my pizza came out pepperoni only but the cook fixed and remade fresh. The garlic knots are tasty. TV was on but I think the plans limit national televised games. The food here has always been amazing, but the service is awful! We stopped for lunch and were one of the only families in the restaurant. It took almost 40 minutes to get our food and then it was cold. When we told them, they offered to remake it but the restaurant was now full, so they said it would be awhile. SO disappointed. We happened upon this place after a visit to Buy Buy Baby last year and I'm so glad we did! We've been coming back ever since. We've tried three different pizzas now, but I would say our favorite is the vegetarian. They do also have cauliflower crust for those on special diets. I highly suggest dining in - it's a nice place and the garlic knots come free! This place is amazing. Family owned and operated its hands down the best pizza in the metroplex. Pizza is hot and taste fresh, crust is light with a good chew on it and is able to handle the insane amount of toppings and cheese their pies come with! Great selection of craft beer and has daily happy hour specials. It's a large place with a nice patio so perfect for larger groups and usually quick seating. I used to love this place. Food is always good, but the service has declined. Went in with my family tonight, no one spoke to us. I watched several servers walk around like they were lost, or just didn't want to wait our table. The bartender was the only one working her butt off. I complained to her and told her that this was unacceptable. I've been a patron of this restaurant for years and have never been treated like this. So disappointed. Went down the street to sauce'd... was immediately greeted and served. Wise Guys is our go-to for local pizza. I have tried quite a few of their pizzas - The Vinny, or what was left of it, is in the photo here. We have also tried the BBQ, the the Pizza Bianco, the Rocky Graciano, the Angelo's Vegetable, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting. The only one I didn't care for was the Mediterranean, but that was because it had no sauce and little cheese. I liked the idea of it but didn't read the ingredients closely enough so that's on me. They have an abundance of local craft beers and pint night every Thursday where a brewery is featured for a reduced price per pint. They also have daily specials such as 1/2 price featured pasta on Sundays. Service is friendly and the owners come by and check on everyone. This restaurant is locally owned and the owners take pride in their quality. They also frequently make donations of food to businesses and encourage their customers to nominate a local business deserving of a free meal. The free garlic knots are to die for, but be careful not to fill up on them. This is easier said than done! read more

I always enjoy stopping by here for dinner or for lunch, Wise Guys Pizzeria always hits the spot. I met my mother and my daughter here the other day for lunch. They stopped by based on my recommendation. My daughter (who is 5) really enjoyed her Mac n Cheese. Keep in mind they are bigger noodles than she is used to, but she loved it just the same. My mom ordered the lunch special, salad with a personal pizza. She has diverticulitis so cannot have food with seeds in them, such as home made pizza sauce. So she ordered an alfredo pizza with chicken on it. She really enjoyed it. I tried a slice and also liked it. As for my meal, I also went for the lunch special. On my pizza I had shrooms and pepperoni with garlic added to my sauce. It was very good and delicious. The salad was also pretty good. When you order you also get these garlic knots that are really good. My daughter who loves bread, devoured at least one basked to her self. What is also cool here is there massive collection of local draft brews. They have quite a lot, and a really nice happy hour to go with it. On top of all of that the service, was fantastic. The manager was helping as well as the server. It really looked like a team effort. Wise Guys Pizzeria is for locals and tourists. I love coming here for pizza and sitting on the outside patio. It is roomy and usually can always get a seat. Staff is always nice and Thursday nights they usually highlight a brewery which means a good deal with their beer and a free glass with purchase! There is often other swag as well.
