New York style pizza and yummy apps. I loved the garlic nots but out of everything the pinwheels were my favorite. My son loved the cheese pizza it's huge and that's a medium. The stuffed meat lovers pie is so good and they give you extra marinara to dip. It's a great local spot to pick up take out or hang out.

This is the first time trying this place since they opened and I was lookin forward to it, as I do every new place try. But, I don't know. The prices were a little high, but I went for it anyway. Well it's definitely New York style with the thin crust, which was really good, cause as you know the crust is everything. With out a good crust, you don't have a good pizza. I am not a big fan of thin crust but this one's good. The ingredients however were kind of lacking for a meat lovers pizza, thus not quite representing the extra cost. The employees were great and helpful, so the service isn't lacking and they have tables so you can eat in and enjoy all the NYC stuff on the walls. lol oh yeah! They have other stuff on the menu as well. Well is this another go to place for me, maybe not, but it might be for you. Give these guys a try and see for yourself if you like them or not. I most likely will be back some day when I'm craving a NY style over others.

Garlic knots. Only one left until I remembered to take the pic.

On our way home from the airport at dinner time and wanted to try a new pizza restaurant in our home town! Now, eat coasters living in TX, we haven't found pizza we love. It's literally just tolerable for us at best. But always willing to try new things, so here we are. We ordered a whole pie, a slice of chicken parm stuffed, and garlic knots. It's counter service to order but delivered to your table. We sat right in the front, but there is plenty of room so bring all your friends. Noted lunch specials daily that looked reasonably priced. And everything in the case looked great so lunch should be quick if you're on the clock. The garlic knots were brought out pretty quickly. And devoured just as fast. They were crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside with garlic you could see. Served with a very good marinara sauce for double dipping (or triple for our toddler)! Our teens favorite! She would come back just for these. The Chicken Parm stuffed slice was from the case. I was worried it would be dry or over cooked but it was perfect. Golden brown, tender chicken and cheese. Served with marinara sauce so you can add as much as you like. We liked! The NY style pizza was HUGE and $14! It had the perfect amount of sauce, and I usually need to add more, lots of cheese for the perfect pull and the crust was crispy. A winner for us and the best NY style pizza we have found in TX! And it reheats great as everyone wanted the leftovers for lunch. Beverages are bottles only, but a nice selection. We will certainly be frequenting this pizza place! Excited for something new and delicious in Roanoke! Welcome to our town!

Excellent service from start to finish, and the food was fantastic. The New York style pizza was spot on thin, flavorful crust and the wings were just as good. Highly recommend!

Best NY pizza we have had in DFW full stop. Finally. The texture and cheese is essentially perfect.

Recently moved from NYC and all I've been craving is a slice of pizza. Happened to be driving by and decided to stop in. The owner was really nice. I got a pepperoni slice and a pepperoni wheel which came with a side of marinara sauce. The crust was nice and thin and had a good crunch. The sauce was definitely my favorite. Can't wait to come back. This is the closest to New York City pizza I've had since i moved here. They also offer delivery btw.

Great New York style pizza, they sell it by the slice too making it a great quick lunch option.

We tried Eneas from a recommendation from a friend and we were very pleased! We ordered "The Works" pizza, the veggies were fresh and the meats plentiful, it was delicious. Service was super friendly and timing was as expected. They had a lot of takeout business, but there was seating inside. We will certainly have Eneas again.

The house red is Dark Horse cab. Jordan was my server. I loved her service, knowledge, and laid back professionalism. Her hair is gorgeous: long and black. She recognized me as soon as I walked in, despite being otherwise preoccupied. I appreciated that. While the inside is low-lighting, the ceilings are extremely high. There are several TVs tuned to sports. While there is a small patio out front along the street, the better one is the larger, covered patio (door found near the bar). There's a patio indoor/outdoor wooden Barton counter that is encompassed by the bar with raised windows on good weather days. There's plenty of tables on this back patio as well.

Bartender/Manager(?) took our drink order and brought garlic knots to snack on. Nice touch, guess this is like offering dinner rolls...? Either way, they were good and much appreciated. Decent selection of beers and even a few craft options avaliable too. Bar area was buzzing during our visit and it appears they have some drink specials throughout the week. They were showing the NFL game, so good spot to catch a game too. Seating is a mix of tables and booths, and a bar in the back corner. We ordered 2 personal pizza options (4 slices, 8 inch), 1 was a custom order and other was their menu offering with spicy marinara, sausage, jalapenos and pepper jack cheese. Pizzas arrived pretty quickly. The crust was larger than expected and was a little more doughy than expected. Not bad, just not what we were expecting for hand-tossed crust options. Toppings were appropriate, so no concerns there. The pizza was good, not great, no complaints...just average pizza, similar to what you might get from a delivery pizza place. The server was really good and seemed to be covering the entire place, and yet she stopped by multiple times to check on us and refill glasses. I think I'd like to give the location another try again in the future.

What lands on the table tastes careful and confident, like a kitchen that knows when to stop. Sauces feel balanced. Pasta comes out cooked right, not rushed and not tired. Portions make sense. The dining room is clean every time I visit. That sounds minor, but it sets the tone. You trust the food before the first bite. Even the cheese pizza makes the case for the place. It looks plain. Then you taste it. The crust has structure without going stiff. The cheese melts evenly and carries real flavor, not just salt. It is the kind of pizza you keep eating without thinking about it, then notice the plate is empty. Pastaza does not chase trends. It focuses on doing familiar food well. That guardrail is likely why it works.

This is a pizza parlor chain we used to visit regularly when we lived in Northern California, and they knew it would be nostalgic for me. While the location wasn't extremely close to us (40min away), the interior was very clean, and it was obvious that this establishment was relatively new. The staff was friendly, and the ordering process was painless. Unfortunately, the order receipt machine that relays orders to the back ran out of paper and for some reason even when they replaced the paper the system isn't set up to print those orders stuck in limbo. We had been out most of the day, and hadn't eaten much because we knew this would be filling. 40min had past which we thought was a little ridiculous, and the staff actually noticed that we were still sitting without our food and they investigated. I will say, while it took us over an hour to get our food, the staff was apologetic. They comped our meal, gave us a side of garlic knots which are super delicious.
